Climb aboard a state-of-the-art helicopter that lacks only one thing: doors. This allows you unobstructed views as you tour the island and makes for fantastic photo opportunities. Meet your expert pilot, who will narrate the experience as you fly over Oahu's landmarks. Choose standard open seating or opt for First Class seating for a more intimate experience including you and one other person.
Soar over Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial, Honolulu Harbor, the Aloha Tower, Magic Island, and Ala Moana Beach Park. Head out of the highly developed Honolulu area and towards the greener side of Oahu, which includes waterfalls, mountains and verdant valleys.
See the soft white Waimanalo Beach and the coral formations of Kaeohe Bay, striking when viewed from the air. See the Chinaman's Hat before heading to Ka'a'awa Valley, where a dozen major motion pictures have been filmed.
On the east end of the island lies Hanauma Bay, the remnants of a volcano crater that's now a marine sanctuary and popular snorkel location. See the Halona Blowhole, Sandy Beach, Makapuu Point and its lighthouse, and Sea Life Park.
The island's central plain is host to the world's largest agricultural maze at the Dole Plantation. View Sacred Falls, a sheer waterfall with a 1,000-foot (300-meter) drop.

- Total weight per passenger: 400 lbs
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Most travelers can participate
- To allow maximum flexibility in your schedule we have 6 flight times to choose throughout the day. Please note that seats are in high demand and space is limited so try to book ahead of time.
- All guests must be able to climb three stairs and lift themselves into the helicopter. It is NOT wheelchair accessible.
- For safety reasons, children 9 and under are unable to ride. Each child age 10-14 must be seated next to a responsible adult. No lap children are allowed; each person is required to wear a seat belt.
- Magnum Helicopters always flies with a full flight. If all four seats of the helicopter have not been sold the day before your scheduled flight we will contact you to reschedule. If unable to reschedule you will be given a full refund.
- The First Class option must be sold as a party of 2 only. If there are more than 2 adults in the party, a separate reservation must be made for the remaining members of the party.
- The combined weight of the two First Class passengers must not exceed 340 lbs. (156 kg)
- Open Seating and Extra Fees: Passengers are seated according to weight and balance and sat in travelling pairs. Passengers that exceed 250 lbs (113 kg) are subjected to an additional fee of $100. Passengers over 300 lbs must purchase and additional seat.
- Parties of 3 or 4: two of the passengers must meet the max combined weight limit of 340 lbs to accommodate the front seats. Please note, passengers are seated according to weight and balance limits of the aircraft. If the limits are exceeded, some parties may need to be split up and fly in separate aircraft or purchase an additional seat.
- Check in will be (45) minutes PRIOR to tour departure.
- Closed-toed shoes are required.
- It can get windy so we recommend a light jacket and folks with long hair bring a strong hair tie.
- Phones and cameras must have a safety strap. (Phone straps are available for rent or purchase at the gift shop.)
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 4 travelers

From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and made everything feel effortless. They took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable and excited before we even lifted off. The pilot was outstanding ..knowledgeable, calm, and clearly passionate about what he does. He pointed out landmarks, shared interesting facts about the island, and made the whole flight feel both safe and unforgettable.
Flying over the coastline, seeing the turquoise water, the mountains, and the city all in one view was unreal. It gives you a completely different appreciation for how beautiful Hawaii really is.
Huge thank you to the entire team for making this such an amazing experience. If you’re visiting Honolulu and want to do something truly memorable, a helicopter tour is absolutely worth it. I would do it again in a heartbeat. 🚁🌊🌴

Oh my gosh I don’t even know where to start. This was by far the best excursion I have ever experienced my entire life and we travel a LOT! I look back to this excursion often. They took great photos of us before we took off which are so fun to look back at periodically. It’s been several months since this vacation, but I just couldn’t go without leaving a review. It was so worth the money! So glad we did doors off too. What a awesome experience!

Probably the best tour I did during a two week stay on Oahu. Some people might find the price steep but it was a much longer helicopter ride than you will find in most places, and in my opinion I got my monies worth. Staff was very friendly and our pilot Kanani was excellent. Got to see an overview of much of the island and was able to take some excellent pictures, probably the best of my trip. If you don't have a lanyard phone or camera the business will let you rent or buy one for $5/$10.

What an amazing once in a lifetime chance to tour around the island. Four of us did a 15 minute loop. Our pilot Herb was terrific as were the rest of the staff. Clear instructions. Safety conscious. The coastline. The waterfall in the mountains. It makes you think there might be a god after all. A grand time was had by all.

I was really scared before (I’m even slightly scared of planes) and it was my first time on a helicopter but it felt really really safe! We saw incredible views and it was very fun thanks to Jeff. It was wonderful to see the whole island with a helicopter!

The highlight of our trip! You get to know the layout of the island so much better from the air. Our pilot was kind and knowledgeable and gave us information. We were so excited for this activity, sadly it didn’t happen! Less than 24 hours before departure we got a call that they didn’t fill the other 2 seats. They give you the option to pay for a 3rd seat, refund, or rebook. I went back to check my emails and confirmations and I can’t find where it says that. The lady that called was very nice, but overall very disappointed. Will rebook with a different company in the future.

Fabulous experience. Herb, our pilot, was very knowledgeable & skilled. Views were amazing. I’m leary of heights, but they strap you in very well. Company stayed in touch, office staff friendly & accommodating.

Was ok.. Couldn’t hear a thing the pilot was saying, which kind of defeats the whole thing as you really don’t know what your seeing.
Was very cold and windy. Be sure to take a warm jacket with hood.
Felt that charging us 5$ each to borrow the phone holder was a rip off.
Plus to end with all the amateur photos they take and charge for. Annoying as they avoid you taking photos of your own.
Hardly a cheap trip without adding all the extras.
Was so excited for this trip and left feeling very disappointed.

An amazing, bucket-list experience - I would highly recommend Magnum! The whole team are amazing and go above and beyond to make the experience exciting and fun. It was fantastic to see so much of Oahu, from views of Waikiki, to Kualoa ranch, to the north shore and Pearl Harbour - completely exhilarating! Doors-off is the only way to experience Oahu from the air!
