My group had a wonderful experience at Waikīkī Snorkeling and Ocean Waterpark. The snorkeling was fantastic, with plenty of fish to see and spotting a sea turtle was definitely the highlight. The water activities were also a lot of fun, especially the slides and the “leap of faith” jump.
The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is due to the timing. Our scheduled load time was 10:45, but boarding didn’t begin until about 10:55, and we didn’t depart until 11:10 The experience also ended earlier than the advertised two hours, which was a bit disappointing.
That said, the captain and crew were friendly, professional, and clearly experienced. We felt safe the entire time, which really matters for an activity like this.
Overall, it was a great snorkeling experience and absolutely worth doing, I’d still recommend it.

A wonderful crew that made our trip as best as it could be! Let us roam about and do whatever activity we wanted to. Encouraged us to try the different options for activities. Ensured we were all safe the entire time. Sadly didn’t see any marine life and the weather didn’t hold up. Very good activity for kids and families as they serve snacks, drinks and even a complimentary drink for adults!

It was fantastic! The crew was very informative and helpful as well as funny, very attentive. We saw quite a few different types of fish, as well as beautiful green turtles. They check before letting everyone off to make sure you see some ocean life :) the slide was great for all ages, the experience was more than I could asked for! I will recommend these guys time and time again! We rented a go pro and they were extremely helpful with getting the pictures uploaded to are phone. One tour guide even helped up get an amazing video of one of the turtles!!!! The boat was very clean and very nice. We saw dolphins and even a whale on the way out :) you won’t be disappointed:)! I do recommend you know how to swim, it doesn’t have to be life guard level but doggy paddle will get you pretty far with the floaters and flippers and all that they provide. They do make sure to address that, and are fine helping you and even encourage you to talk to the in private if it’s something you don’t want the whole boat knowing :) I would rate it 100/10

This snorkel tour experience was absolutely incredible! The staff were so friendly and made it an enjoyable experience for all! The only thing I would say is that it wasn’t a “tour” going to different locations to snorkel, it’s only one location but nonetheless still had the best time and the vibes were so great!

Crew were great, however if you want to see turtles do not go in the afternoon. Boat takes you 5 mins out from where they dock, water isn’t very clear.

Didn’t see much marine life, if any. The crew was friendly. The bagel place in front of the harbor is excellent. Bring aqua shoes—the surface gets very hot. Recommend climbing up to the top of the boat for great views.

10 min boat trip to behind surf break on own mooring.
Mostly sparse reef with limited fish.
Most on trip wouldn't have seen the brief visit of the one turtle.

I was surprised to get to the check-in spot and be charged an additional $7 per person as a "fuel surcharge" for this, but it is indeed in the fine print--so be sure to be aware of that. The man checking us in gave us a snarky smile and pointed to the collection of highlighted fine print he had taped up for all to see. Why this isn't just included in the advertised price to make it simpler I am not sure, but it definitely got us off on the wrong foot with this company. So please be aware that just because it is less expensive on viator does not mean it is less expensive overall. The boat was very nice and clean and had a very friendly captain and 2 nice deckhands. Zero complaints on the boat staff--they were very kind and fun. We were taken out not too far from the pier and no other boats were around us. We were allowed to snorkel (didn't see much at all) and lounge on a mat. I was disappointed we only saw 2 turtles and wasn't going to say anything--until my husband and I joined our friends on a glass bottom boat tour immediately after this experience. The glass bottom boat took us a little farther down the coast where 8 other boats were. Lots of people were snorkeling in the water with LOTS of sea turtles and fish--a much better viewing area for sure! The staff of the glass bottom boat also threw food to attract the marine life I had paid so much to see earlier. It was then that I realized how badly I felt we were ripped off with the sea turtle snorkel experience. Why we were charged extra for fuel only to go just outside the harbor and not down to this much better location is still not clear to me. Needless to say, I was very disappointed in my experience with this tour.

The Crew was amazing, captain Marlee, Ian and Tay. The boat was very nice and lots of room to move around. The equipment was high quality and cleaned in front of us so you could feel confident using it. Staff is excellent - friendly, knowledgeable, and safe all in one package.
We saw an amazing number of turtles - six or seven ranging from large to very small despite the water being a but murky. They were in v the surface. This was very lucky I think. My family had a great time swimming around and my wife who doesn't swim stayed aboard but still had a great time.
The boat is in great condition and looks will maintained. Same for equipment.
