Absolutely loved this charter. It is worth the trip to the docks for the more private tour. We had a wonderful guide (Forgot her name) but she was amazing. We also had Captain Max himself who is super fun, and they both know the area and we had so much fun. We saw more, and learned more than all the other groups out there too.

Enjoyable tour. Boat ride in and out was fun, small fast Navy type boat. If you are prone to getting sea sick, take some other tour with a slow moving type. Only saw a couple of turtles who laid on the bottom and refused to come up, so they must be hit or miss. Colorful fish swimming around in the water though. Friendly staff. Be aware the address of the meeting location on the emailed information is incorrect and quite a bit off. So don't show up right before the tour starts.

What a great experience. I was on the Ruby Princess. The tour departed from aa dock about 20 minutes walk from Pier 2. I was surprised that I was the only person signed up for the ride. The captain was Jeff and then there was Christina. She was awesome. She told me all about where we would be going and what to look out for. She came into the water and helped me see the few turtles that were around that day. There were also countless fish and of course other snorkelers.

I give it 4 stars because it said it was given in different languages and I honestly did not see anyone who spoke other than English, but that does not mean that it is a great experience and the guides are super friendly and charismatic.

Riding on the boat itself was fun, it's fast! Enjoyed snorkeling as well, lots of fish and saw 3 turtles. It feels like it goes by quickly but it's a good time. Captain and guide are very laid back.

The boat was fast getting there and maximizing our swim. The small group was welcome when compared to other groups in the water and our guide was incredibly patient with a lady on our boat who didn’t know how to swim!

Fantastic captain & crew (the crew is the person who founded us in the water. This boat only takes six people at a time which is really nice because some of the other boats had as many as 30 people at a time. They also let me snorkel without any kind of flotation on which I don't need because I have experience. They did a nice job making sure everybody had fun saw the turtles and stayed safe. I saw at least 20 different turtles in the hour plus that we were in the water.

This tour was absolutely fantastic. Sophia and Max were so accomodating, perfect length of tour. We saw so many turtles and dolphins, seal and fish!!!! Highly recommend!!

Loved that it was just our group! A private tour! Max was friendly and his assistant Chris was amazing. I think 6 women may have been alot for Max 🤪 he was super polite and kind and we were rowdy. We got him to loosen up towards the end. They were both very knowledgeable about the area, the fish we saw, and the whole trip was fabulous!!!

So close to Waikiki,loved that it was only 6 people.
The guys explained snorkeling tips and if your not a confident swimmer they have float belts.

It was a pleasure to go out on this boat. The boat was small and only accommodated four passengers which was nice and the two crew. Santiago, was very helpful. He also got into the water with us and took pictures from different angles as we snorkel. He was helpful in pointing out where the turtles were. He was very patient and helpful with all of us.

Fast ride out to the hot turtle spot! Captain Max and Santiago were super chill. Gave great instructions and then bam, jump on in! We saw plenty of turtles and other beautiful fish. Great experience all around. A definite highlight of our trip.

Great experience though water was a bit murky. The captain and his assistant were great. I would suggest a sig. at the meeting g point as several were confused if they were in the right spot.
Overall, lot of fun and the guide was great at putting us on turtles

The best experience everrrr. Not only does this tour cater to small groups of 6 people…we were the only people in the tour that day. Despite being around someone who had never swam before they handled everything so professionally. I will definitely be going back. Words can’t express how amazing this experience was.

Had so much fun. Eric and Chris were very kind and informative. I've never snorkel and I'm not a strong swimmer. Felt safe still with Chris' direction. I dont like crowds so being on their boat, the Nautilus, with a small party was the best. Even got to see a dolphin! Thank you for a great first time experience.

Very knowledgeable and helpful getting the best views of the fish, dolphins, and sea turtle ! 10/10 would buy again.
P.s. could not figure out how to upload a video on this review, my apologies, but we had an awesome encounter with a dolphin doing tricks when jumping out of the water and wanting to be the fancy one, which.... he was :3

Not for the beginner snorkeler. Visibility is not clear as so many other people. The boat is quick. Saw 2 turtles but everyone chases them away. Not worth the money

The over all experience itself was great, but i recommend bringing youre own gopro. They will offer a photo service to take youre pictures while swimming, we paid $125 for 40 photos and only maybe 6 of them are decent and useable. Extra photos they offer is a tourist scam, save the money and bring youre own go pro, other than that the experience was great

It was horrible we did not get to attend we booked over a month ago through Viator. We was called and asked could we move our tour up from 3pm to 1pm we agreed. We was asked to be there at 12:20. We did that also. No one came to talk to us or greet us till 15 min to one. We called serval times telling them we was there. They told us they were waiting on two other people that was not in our group. So my family had to wait on the other two late people. Then finially when we was finally greeted we was told that they only had us book for 4 not 7 people. we showed our tickets and the money that was taken out. They blamed Viator for the booking and told us they only do a group of 6. After 15 min of being on the phone with Viator we was refunded our money and we left.

Captain Max’s turtle snorkel was amazing. There was a system error when we booked, they were already fully booked for the day, but Captain Max went out of his way to put on a second boat to take us and captained it himself! Fantastic service. The boat only holds 6 guests. The boat ride out was thrilling! It goes really fast, you get wet. We loved it! We had the boat to ourselves which was perfect for our little family with my mum, a 5yr old and 7yr old. Sophia our snorkel guide was so patient with us, the kids could go back and forth from the boat as needed whilst still showing us various things in the water and telling us about the turtles and reef. When our 5 yr old freaked out after getting in the water, Captain Max happily looked after her on the boat whilst we all snorkeled, pointing out turtles to her on the surface. We saw lots of turtles both below us and right in front of us on top of the water. We also saw a white tip shark. Highly recommend going early (we went 8am) when there was only a few other boats already there. By the time we finished snorkelling large boats/catamarans with masses of people had turned up. Juice and water was provided, kids life jackets, and they also had a kids sized snorkel. Floatation noodles were also available if needed. Highly recommend.
