The guide was very informative and entertaining. Nice to be able to get off and on. Good stops. On time.
Great short tour. If you are short on time. This a perfect island tour of the main scenic
sites and the beautiful beaches.
Great time. Worth the money. Guides/drivers did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable and as they stated best drivers in all the land
Our tour guide was awesome!!! He shared so much knowledge with us about Hawaii, its rich history, beautiful culture, and breathtaking scenery. His passion and enthusiasm made the entire experience both educational and enjoyable. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a wonderful time and felt included. We learned so much, shared lots of laughs, and created unforgettable memories
A nice relaxing trolley ride with beautiful views. The driver was giving information during the tour, but the speaker volume was not loud enough for me to understand what he was saying. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the ride.
This is a very cool option for exploring the area. Our ride started off great. We got off (hop on/hop off) at the first stop and wandered the beach and got a bite to eat. When we returned to the stop to get on the next trolley, it was full (not unexpected on a weekend). We stood and saw some really cool sites on the ride. The stops were for a nice amount of time. Then on the way back, we got off the trolley for lunch. We waited for almost two hours for the next trolley to come and ended up getting on a different "colored line" trolley as our Blue Line seemed to have gone missing. Overall a fun time, but we had a hiccup that could have been bad had there not been two different lines in the area.
Scenery is great. Driver was very good. Could get on and off if you wanted or stay on for the whole ride.
This experience wasn’t for me. I expected more.
Despite the mapped out stops, the driver did not really provide an insight into Hawai’i and the beauty of the ocean and its surroundings.
We literally wizzed past the incredible shoreline and sightseeing opportunities. That beautiful vast ocean, the colours of the sea and the amazing rock formations were clouded by the driver’s own personal history. He talked about himself, his mother, his brother, his cousin and even his neighbour.
When he did seldom talk about things in Honolulu, Oahu, he used words like, “I’m not sure; I think; I believe; I’ve heard, I don’t really know…”
Tourists want to know about the culture, the island, the fun facts … and even capture the moment and beauty of the city. Instead, the driver drove fast through the shoreline, mumbling over the speakers.
If you decide to take a chance and get a better driver with a passion for their job and their island, then consider not wearing a hat and/or tying your hair up. It gets very windy in the open air trolley. Hold tight onto your phone as you attempt to take photos. I hope your experience … delivers.
To the company - please vet your driver’s knowledge, passion and ability to speak clearly into the microphone. Test out the speakers and the sound it produces during the drive. Are you aware that there appears to be something that looks like cactus one side of the hill on the return? How did this get there? Why is it only on one side? Please explain in your drivers notes, and remove the need for the driver’s self-promoting.
Disaster. We paid $70 for both of us on a trolley. We arrived at the departure place only to be told that the trolleys had stopped early that day because of the 4th of July holiday and that no more trolleys were running. The people at the kiosk told us that they couldn't refund our money because we had bought our tickets through Viator rather than them and that we should contact Viator. When we did Viator responded that they were looking into it. Then they wrote us that The Trolley Company claimed that all the trolleys were running that day which was a lie. So they couldn't refund our money. This is nothing short of theft. A company that can't deal honestly with their customers does not deserve to survive. We will never use Viator again even though we have used them several times in the past. What a terrible experience. What a terrible company. Beware if you use them
The Blue Trolley is a nice, inexpensive way to see the east side of Oahu. You get a lot of ocean views (right-hand side outbound). The first pickup was conveniently located at the Prince Waikiki (side facing the ocean).
Throughout the drive the narration was lively. You get 10 minutes to see the blowhole. If you plan to get off at any stops pay attention to the timetable for pickup since the last run starts at 1:50PM. I did find that they pickups were pretty accurate to the timetable. The driver did offer to wait for a restroom stop at Sea Life park.
The bus driver on 92 is rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend him as a driver. Overall, the scenery was beautiful and breath taking. The driver does not have the righr personality conduct tours. This tour took place on June 18, 2026 at 1:15 pm. I would recommend this tour to others as long as they do not have the driver who toured the group today.
Great tour, the driver was excellent spoke with good detail mixed with light humor about the various spots & locations & his driving was smooth. Really nice way to spend a few hours & soak up the beauty & facts of the beautiful island. Recommend for 1st time visitors
Great way to see so many places you would miss. Guide was informative and clearly lived his job. I highly recommend and the price is reasonable. Wish we had more time, I would have taken another tour!
Carry a stadium seat or pillow or a towel.
Seats are wooden benches.
Seats can be hard on your back.
It was a beautiful day and the ride was so pleasant. Big Tony was our driver. He gave a good narration throughout the ride. This was a great way to see that side of the island without a rental car.
Great tour driver Richue Rich, great info, fun and friendly. A bit windy but warm and Hawaii beautiful
I love this place
Very courteous and informative definitely recommend.the driver was very informative and knowledgeable.
The shuttle bus was very busy so you could be standing, The views on the route were amazing and the driver was very knowledgeable.
When we got off the bus at the blow hole, The driver asked everyone to return to their same seat.
If you leave the trolley we would recommend sitting on the opposite side for your return so that you can experience both sides of the tour.
Driver drove too fast. Couldn’t hear his narrative. What we did hear was boring and not informational. Many personal quips. Who cares where he passed out as a young person. Have requested a refund.
Great! The views were amazing! The tour guide provided great information and fun facts. Good stops to enjoy.
Extremely scenic tour of the Honolulu coastline. Interesting info. about the Island by the driver. Excellent value for money.
Marco was a great driver and tour guide. He continually gave us insights into the history and culture of the area around Waikiki as well as the Hawaiian islands in general. He taught us some Hawaiian words so that we could communicate with the local Hawaiians and having an aloha experience. We highly recommend we recommend this tour and Marco specifically. We had a great time and learned a lot in a fun way.
Beautiful ocean coast line informative guide named Tinder driving the blue line Waikiki Trolley. Tinder was friendly and courteous and He made the trolley ride fun
Gives you a chance to experience the beautiful scenery in Oahu. Joey was a great tour guide.
Get there early for your trolley so you get a seat.
It’s good for people who have mobility issues or just want to sit back and soak in the views. I really enjoyed the wind in my hair and not having to worry about driving. Have your cameras ready!
We had a good experience and enjoyed the running narrative of our driver Chuck. He was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining through out the trip. The one disappointment was that the tour description touted the stop for the Rainbow Cafe and Leonards Bakery. We were never informed which stop to get off, so we missed these attactions,
The bus does not stop for photos, there are significant delays between busses and communication with the bus company is almost non existent….however our driver, Tyler was amazing and DEFINATELY a five star guy!
I had a good experience with the trolley. The driver was very friendly and funny. He gave a lot of good facts during the tour.
This was a nice way to explore the island! Couldn't really hear the tour guide but we enjoyed the ride...
It was okay. The views are great. But the bus in noisy and bumpy added to a very windy day. It goes and returns the same way so if you want to get off on the way back that is good. The the scenic tour of the coast in a van is a much better option as you stop at more view points and the ride is more comfortable. You get what you pay for. I would not recommend it at less you want to get off at one if the stops.
