Absolutely loved this! I went with my two kids (9 and 11) and husband. We had such a great time! We saw so many turtles and beautiful fish. There were also 2 reef sharks! Alex was great with all the facts about the fish and turtles and guiding our snorkeling group in the ocean. Such an amazing experience! The boat staff was great and very prompt. Worth every penny!

Itinerary

Snorkeling with sea turtles is one experience you don’t want to miss out on so make sure you set your alarm. You and your group need to be at the meeting point, Pink Sails Waikiki, 30 minutes prior to sailing so you can complete the check-in process.

Once you’re ready to depart, hop on the catamaran and glide out into the waters surrounding Oahu. You’ll spend 2-hours around the Waikiki Turtle Canyon, a haven for marine life including native green sea turtles.

Sit back during the ride listening to the captain talk about sea turtle facts while you enjoy snacks and bottled water. Then, hop in for a swim or snorkel using the equipment provided. After 2-hours of fun, this boat tour ends right back at Pink Sails Waikiki.

The crew was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome and safe. John pointed out sea turtles as we were in the water and he even dove down and took a video with my phone at the ocean floor. The views were obviously spectacular and the cocktails on board took our experience above and beyond. The entire crew was also very informative. We would recommend Pink Sails for an unforgettable excursion that we'll talk about for years to come.

I highly recommend this experience. The captains Mo and Ryan were amazing and Jaylen was an excellent snorkel guide! They were all extremely knowledgeable and would point out any animal they saw in the water for us.

Absolutely wonderful! The boat was beautiful, and we saw fish, sea turtles, and we even got lucky when a group of dolphins swam along with our boat for a solid ten minutes. However, what really made the excursion so fun was the crew. Our captain was so knowledgeable, and I loved that we had a female captain 💪🏽 Jandy and Jaelyn took great care of us. Shout out to Little Dog, the sweet pup who acted as co-captain. Thank you, pink sails!

Crew was very pleasant And But with spacious Equipment Worked well period Probably 10 or 15 minute boat ride out from the harbor right in front of Waikiki a little offshore. Myself and my three girls had a great time it's all a good amount of fish and several sea turtles. Visibility wasn't great the day we went but you could still see the bottom at the deeper sections. The turtles would swim up to the surface would be so often to get a breath and you could get a pretty close up view of them but you still are supposed to keep a 10-ft distance it definitely fun quick activity to do. Lots of other boats and people are out there in the water

Disorganized

1st there are no signs to tell you what slip the boat is at. The boat was late and did not get to the slip until 1045 for an 11 am tour. The crew was disorganized. When we finally got to the Turtle canal the crew could not find the anchor point. We got in the water around 12pm. There are hundreds of people at this spot and getting kicked and run over is a real thing.

This was Amazing! I went with my parents for my 30th Birthday!! This was a Must for all of us! We weren't sure if we'd see much but we saw and experienced sooo much more. There were so many fishes and 4 turtles. Keep theses guys from going back to their modeling jobs and book with them!!!

Captain John, Alex, and Jaime were the best! We saw fish, turtles, and dolphins. They made sure we saw it all. They had us laughing on the way out and on the way back. We really enjoyed our time!

This was a fantastic excursion and the guys did exactly as promised- took us to snorkel with turtles around us! Safety was a top priority and Jamie, Alex, Xavier really took their time to make sure everything was explained and done well. Even with tons of other people snorkeling as well! I would do another Pink Sands tour as well.

Despite a last-minute time change from the provider, we still had a great time snorkeling. The experience itself was fairly basic, but we really enjoyed it. We definitely saw turtles, and the crew were friendly, helpful, and made the trip enjoyable.

This was a wonderful outing. The catamaran was comfortable and the staff friendly and attentive. They made sure we saw lots of turtles. We even had daulphins jumping in front the boat when returning to shore. The only negative thing I would say is that the advertising pictures are misleading: this is not snorkeling in shallow water but in very deep water. The turtles mostly hang out at the bottom of the sea. Since the water is very clear you can see them there but they are far. We did see a few come to the surface to breathe. I still 100% recommend this experience and would do it again.

I wish I knew more about the water before booking because visibility was a little low but was still able to see turtles. It felt a lot more intense than what I was picturing it to be since there are multiple tours/boats in the area but it was my first time snorkeling and felt like it was a nice intro. Mo and the crew were kind and helpful.

Awesome experience! At first I was unsure about the “guarantee” of seeing turtles but now I understand! Turtle canyon is a natural place for turtles to hang out and at any given point there will be dozens there. We saw multiple turtles including some that came up to the surface up close. Fantastic experience with great crew Jaime, Alex, and Zé who made us feel welcome and safe with clear instructions pre-departure and great guidance while in the water. My sister took this excursion with Pink Sails a few months ago and raved about it and she couldn’t wait to take us today. We saw 4 turtles in the water, 2 on the surface in the distance, so many tropical fish, and a dolphin pod! Highly recommend.

We only saw one Turtle and the crew left in the water without us. We were a bit slower and having issues with our mask. Pink Sails said they would reach out to us but never did. Captains name was Mo I think. Crew was very nice but we were definitely disappointed and I will be letting my friends and family know that live here, not to recommend this to anyone else. I hope they reach out to us to give us a full refund.
