Meet at Pink Sails Waikiki on Holomoana Street at least 30 minutes before departure to check in and get fitted with snorkeling equipment.
The catamaran heads out from the harbor into the waters off Waikiki toward Turtle Canyon—a shallow reef area where Hawaiian green sea turtles congregate regularly. The captain covers sea turtle behavior and Hawaiian marine life during the ride out, giving useful context before you get in the water.
Once at the canyon, you can swim or snorkel while crew members guide the group and point out turtles below. No prior snorkeling experience is needed, though basic swimming ability is required.
The tour runs for about two hours in total, with roughly 90 minutes at the snorkel site before the catamaran returns to Pink Sails Waikiki.

The crew was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome and safe. John pointed out sea turtles as we were in the water and he even dove down and took a video with my phone at the ocean floor. The views were obviously spectacular and the cocktails on board took our experience above and beyond. The entire crew was also very informative. We would recommend Pink Sails for an unforgettable excursion that we'll talk about for years to come.

We had a wonderful time on this catamaran sail. Jamie our captain was very sociable and informative. We felt very safe and well cared for by all the crew. This was September and we were surrounded by turtles. Plus it was a beautiful ride with views of Ohau. Great experience.
The crew made it so fun, we felt like we were hanging with friends! Saw so many turtles and even took us out longer to see dolphins! 11/10 experience, highly recommended for all ages, families, friends, everyone!
The trip was canceled and I need a refund. I am very disappointed that I didn't get to go snorkeling this trip.

Alexio, Tyler and Kynoa were a blast! They helped us have a good time, feel safe and Kynoa pointed out all the sea life for us! Could not recommend these guys enough!
The crew was very nice and helpful. It was a beautiful experience and we did see turtles. My only concern was, there was a family on board with a toddler and the crew members did not make the parents put a life jacket on this child. It was very scary to watch. The parents had a life jacket that was just laying next to them on the boat. I would strongly suggest that this be a regulation, a must!
Captain Mo of Pink Sails and her trusted crew of turtle whisperers were absolutely incredible! We had the best 2 hours on the open ocean and encountered many majestic turtles and colorful tropical fish while snorkeling and also pods of playful dolphins during our sail back to shore. Captain Mo was so kind and thorough on rules and safety and shared a wicked sense of humor throughout. Special shout out to “Little Dog” who spent some time with us during the sail. Adorable! Helpful crew member, Sheamus, guided us from his surfboard to all the best spots on the reef to see the turtles and even spotted a baby turtle for us. Beautiful experience to explore nature and the bounty of its precious creatures. Our daughter, who now lives on the island, is taking her boyfriend on another Pink Sails tour as she wants to further share the experience with loved ones. We booked this tour last minute after a cancellation elsewhere. What a win. John, Jamie & Alex were a brilliant crew, and they absolutely made the experience. We saw at least 10 turtles! A must book experience if in Waikiki.

The crew were really funny, we had such a great time together. The water was nice, it is such a perfect weather to be out there out in the ocean! Everything was perfect, we had a blast. Definitely recommend doing it with the Pink Sail Waikiki :). John, Tyler, Alexio were amazing! Loved it.
Super fun 2 hrs excursion with an excellent fun loving crew of Jaylyn, John, Captain Mo and little dog Saw turtles and lots of fish during our about 1 hr of snorkeling time. Highly recommended!!!

They took us out my daughter and I told us we was gonna see turtle and fishes and it wasn’t what they said the water was rough and we had to return early the crew said they would refund my money back but they didn’t sad story but so true I will not recommend it..
This is a must do experience in Hawaii. It was so cool and relaxing. The entire team was amazing and so cool. The boat was nice and spacious. We saw so many turtles and fish it was so cool my daughter loved jumping off the boat at the end.
Always fun getting on a catamaran boat. Plenty of seating on the deck and always fun sitting on the nets at the front of the boat. Recommend going early morning for calmer water and clearer visibility. Quick and easy tour that all the family can enjoy.
Alexio, Kainoa, and John were great! Made it fun for everyone and made sure we saw plenty of turtles and other wildlife. Even though I’m sure they do this all the time, they genuinely seem to enjoy it as much as us tourists all the while keeping it professional. I highly recommend this team.
Our wonderful crew on the water were Captain Jaime, Jalen and Jandy. Enjoyed the boat ride out to Turtle Canyon. There were 8 of us, six snorkeled. They had all of the equipment for us to use and discussed water current and safety for the trip. Reminded us not to touch the turtles. It is against the law. Everyone enjoyed the experience of snorkeling the ocean. A couple of them saw a turtle or two. Some didn’t see any. There were plenty of fish. Complaints were on the goggles….they were very foggy to see out of. We were told they would clear in the water. They didn’t! Couldn’t see anything out of them. Couldn’t even take good pictures. That was disappointing. Being out in all that beauty was amazing though.

This was a great experience. My family loved it. The crew was the best. I want to thank them for helping me after I fell getting off the boat. They rushed to me and did a great job taking care of me until the ambulance came.

Crew was super nice especially little dog 🐶. We saw turtles and fish which was nice. It wasn't anything super special I would probably skip it next time, but thats not on the crew or anything just my opinion.
Such a great time. Mo and the team were super entertaining and made the adventure even better. Once we got back on the boat after seeing the fish and turtles, I felt a little motion sickness coming on. The team was so attentive and made sure I was comfortable, and they still managed to make the whole experience wonderful.
