We had such a great experience with our tour guide, Kevin Tu. He was very punctual when picking us up & dropping us off. We were the first one in the gates & one of the first ones to leave. He was also very informative & answered all our questions well. This being our first time snorkeling, it was such a memorable experience. 10/10 would recommend anyone who is planning to go snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. A tour is a must!

The beach is so beautiful, we saw many fish while snorkeling! The whole experience was amazing we would definitely recommend.

What a beautiful place. Everything was perfect (though the wind could've been calmer). We'll be back someday . . .
This experience was very relaxing and fun. The only downside is that one pair of our fins broke before we went into the water so we couldn’t use them the whole time we were snorkeling and the umbrella we rented was missing a part to hold it down so it kept flying away. However seeing the fish and swimming amongst the coral is an experience I’ll never forget.
Hanauma Bay is amazing, definitely worth the visit. But see if you can just go on your own. The company that took us was ok, but questionable. The van was late, the driver offered my husband free admission if he could pronounce humuhumunukunukuapua'a - which he did. But we still paid, We didn't mind since we knew the money would go to the park , but still, you shouldn't make a bet and then loose it and not follow through. and our mask broke - the drivers response was - well that happens. We will visit the bay again, but probably on our own. Company didn't seem very concerned with customers having a good experience. Just seemed more concerned with taking your cash.
It was an incredibly enjoyable experience! The bay is absolutely stunning! Our driver, Diego, provided us with excellent information and valuable advice.
A great way to snorkel! Transportation and equipment included made it so easy to snorkel. The tour gave us plenty of time to snorkel! It was a relaxed paced and we had so much fun! We even had time to eat at the cafe before coming back.
This is by far one of the best spots for snorkeling and it’s kids friendly while enjoying the beautiful views.
Poor quality of rentals, snorkel gear and umbrella were poor quality. Good thing is you don’t need to make a reservation or worry about parking.

Bring exact cash for payment . They made us combine all our money fir the 10 people on the tour which made it difficult if you didn't have exact change. They just told us 'just fugure it out " They should tell people this before hand
5/5 stars! Driver was super kind and helpful. Snorkeling stuff was good. It was definitely worth it for us to just pay for the experience. Made getting to/in the park much more stress free than figuring it out myself.

Picked up at our hotel and taken to the bay. All gear was loaded into van, no problems. Extra umbrellas, chairs, noodles were available to rent at last moment if needed. Luis was so gracious and helpful as our driver, looking after our every step. Would highly recommend.
The bay was stunning however I was very disappointed the driver had to take us back at 12:30 pm. So we only stayed for 3 hours at the bay. I wanted to enjoy more time at the bay and snorkel more. The bay closes at 6 pm why take us back so early. Snorkeling gears were bad quality. It is better to take an uber and rent snorkeling gear at the bay or bring your own. By the way there is an additional fee of $25 per person to enter the bay and you have your pay it in cash

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beauty of Hanauma Bay. We do want to clarify a few points for future guests.
Hanauma Bay does not allow guests to remain at the beach until 6:00 PM. The last call for visitors to leave the beach area is around 3:30 PM. The 6:00 PM closing time refers to the overall park/lookout area, not the time guests can remain on the beach snorkeling.
Additionally, the transportation time frame and scheduled return time are clearly stated online during the booking process, so guests are able to review the schedule before making their reservation. Our service operates according to the time frame selected and advertised at the time of booking.
Regarding the admission fee, Hanauma Bay admission is a separate fee from our transportation/tour service, and this is also disclosed in the booking information.
We understand that some guests may prefer to spend the day at the bay and arrange their own transportation, rent equipment independently, or bring their own gear. That is certainly an option. We simply encourage guests to carefully review all of the information provided online before booking so they can choose the experience that best fits their plans.

This is hands down my favorite thing we did on my family’s vacation. There were only 6am time slots available, but waking up early was worth it. Our driver Mark was friendly and informative. The gear was great, better than other snorkels I’ve used and easy to get the hang of. We booked this last minute since we weren’t able to get tickets to the park via the official website, but my experience with this tour was so great, if I were to visit again, I’d just skip the hassle of trying to book via the official website and go with Viator.
This was the highlight of my trip! My son and I had a blast and the people were friendly and good instructors.

Adam - driver picked up us on time and very helpful. Not much fish close to the shore, but there was some further out, including the triggerfish. Fins and snorkeling gear was a bit worn out, one fin and one mask was ripped in our set.
Our driver to the venue was very quiet; difficulty hearing him, otherwise he was friendly, professional, patient and very helpful. One of the masks did not seal, so I had to rent another from the rentals at the bay since our driver was already gone by the time we found out.
Definitely worth the early morning! They handled everything for us. Highly recommend renting chairs. We had a great and relaxing time,
Adam did a great job telling us about the history and the area. The snorkeling was tough because there was high winds stirring up the swells. It was still fun. We would do it again!
Would not recommend. They told us we could not bring our own coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. but allowed another party to do so after we were effectively forced to rent these items from them on top of the cost paid to Viator. When I refused to sign the paper saying I would not request a refund, they told me my family would not be transported back to our pickup spot, essentially abandoning us. If you do book, feel free to bring whatever you want along since they do not enforce this rule & don’t sign anything so you can dispute the charge if needed.

We did not receive any prior request regarding bringing coolers or the additional items you mentioned. As a courtesy to all guests, we ask that customers contact us in advance about extra belongings, as space can be limited when traveling with other passengers. Had you reached out beforehand, we would have done our best to accommodate your request. We also don’t “force” anyone to rent anything that’s up to you.
We would also like to clarify that during your tour, you returned a broken umbrella. This was not reported to our staff at the time, and no charge was applied for the damage. In addition, our team received communication indicating a threat to dispute the credit card charge. Due to the combination of these circumstances, we made the decision not to provide return transportation.
While we strive to provide excellent service to every guest, we also reserve the right to refuse service when a situation becomes disruptive, abusive, or violates our policies.. Our goal is always to ensure a safe and respectful experience for all customers and staff.

It was an amazing experience! The whole process was easy. The driver Marcio Lira was super nice and went above and beyond. We recommend bringing a tent and plenty of snacks.
You are paying for a guaranteed spot in the bay, that’s it. Do not expect anything else. Next time, I would take my chances on getting a ticket cs paying double for the “tour”.

Tickets are limited and very hard to obtain to Hanauma Bay. Using a service makes the entire trip much more relaxing.
We love Haunama bay! We couldn’t get a ticket through the state website so went with a tour company to secure a spot. All snorkeling gear and transport included. Just expect a 20-30 min process once you arrive at park for tickets and orientation. Lots of fish!
Amazing place.
Not wanting to risk parking issues we felt this was a better option and I am very satisfied with the bus tour
Definitely a must see on Oahu and guaranteed entry with the tour
The shuttle and snorkel equipment were clean and in great condition. The whole journey was amazing. The little ones enjoyed it as well.
