So cool! Saw 6-7 whales including a calf. One even swam under our boat. Also saw dolphins and a sea turtle!

It's very informative including about off the road kind of places that you might want to stop at but had not heard or read about. I particularly loved hearing some of the history of Hawaii, very interesting and told in an easy to understand way.

If you are planning on driving the Road to Hana yourself, then this audio tour is a must!!! I was skeptical about getting something like this. But it was absolutely worth it! Creative commentary and cultural history as you drive along. But also pinpoint accuracy to every stop and points of interest along the way!!! We would have missed so much! Especially since you don't have cell service alot of the time. Even the GPS didn't show the road through parts of the trip! Seriously, this is a must have!!

10/10 must use app & guide! This was the most detailed & fun commentary that was 100% accurate to our location at all times, even with no service it never skipped a beat. It ensured we saw what we NEEDED to see, gave a bunch of additional options with short detours (and adjusted the directions and commentary appropriately) and on the way back gave us an oral history so nothing was repeated or duplicated. Best $20 we spent in Maui and will definitely be looking into other self guided tours through this company!

Read the tips and timing when you buy. Black sand beach requires advanced reservations! This tour was excellent, the perfect combo of directions, things to see, highlights and what to expect to help you plan your stops on a self guided day on the Road to Hana. The narrator does a wonderful job and we thoroughly enjoyed all the historical and cultural education along the way. Would highly recommend. It was so easy to run from the app which tracked us successfully in spite of having NO cell service most of the day. Download and be awed by the miracle of the recorded guided tour.

When I was finally able to get into the tour, I gotta say I did really enjoy it. The tour guy was very knowledgeable and always knew where I was. Overall, I really liked my tour. I had a hard time getting in, though it was something that I am not used to. I’m not super tech savvy and I am 51 so I thought it was gonna be a quick pay and click, but unfortunately it wasn’t that easy. But other than that, it was a great tour.

It worked well. You do have to anticipate done things as they're not exactly as presented.
The drive is exceptional. You do get the feeling of a rain forest with the vegetation, the running streams and thr waterfalls. It is a day trip and there are plenty of food stops along the way. The oceanside is spectacular throughout!

It does not work. We spent more than half an hour and had to download two separate apps just for it to never give us the audio guide or offer any clear instructions about how to get it. This audio guide takes you in circles making you download more and more (but never the actual guide). Do not use this.

Do research of tour before you go so you know. We booked in a hurry because we had some free time. It would have been better if I would have purchased it at least a month ahead of time to figure out places I wanted to visit. This tour takes a whole day and we didnt have that much time as it was our last day. I wish we could have done the whole route. I guess that means we will have to come back!! We have the tour indefinitely on phone so thats awesome!! Try it out, but the road has lots and lots of curves and one lane bridges so beware and pull over for the locals!!!!
