Best Tour Guide

Patrick was a wonderful tour guide. This private tour on the road to Hana was perfect for our group of five including four adults and a three year old. We had an incredible time seeing many hidden gems only a local would know. Water, towels, GoPro, local banana bread, food truck lunch, snacks, and great travel music was provided for our excursion. Highly recommend Patrick for your adventure!

For your first trip to Road to Hana, I would highly recommend Maui tours and having a tour guide. Lots of nuggets of information plus they know the best places to stop and sight see. Got to go in a cave. Our guide Trena was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They have other guides doing the trip with different groups and they work well together. Road is not that bad to drive but you will miss some views if you are driving.

My boyfriend and I had such a great time with Trena! She was super knowledgeable about the area and was a pro at the road. It made us feel very secure. She also customized the tour to hit the things we wanted most and that was valuable for us! Amazing 1010 and the go pro was a cherry on top!!!

Our guide, Mike, was exceptional!!! He was very knowledgeable in all areas of the tour and made the day memorable for us all. We enjoyed all the food stops, waterfalls, volcano cave, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting him and would highly recommend him and the Epic Maui Hikes to anyone thinking about doing this Road to Hana tour in the future.

Best way to enjoy the road to Hana.

Best part of our trip was our guide, Mike. He was awesome. He was waiting for us at the pick-up point at the specified time. He gave us time-frame details for breaks and eating at the start of the trip. Drive was very comfortable and everybody in our party (5 of us) had a great time. Oh Yah, the road to Hana was great too! Mike knew where to stop to get good pictures and good eats. our trip was in December 2023 and was overcast and rainy part of the day but was still worth the money. It never really rains all day anywhere in Maui. Mike was always concerned about our safety as well as having a great time. This is definitely a trip I will do again next time we are on the island.
