Patrick was an amazing tour guide! So knowledgeable about the island and the hiking trails. He even did a dive off a rock for us! It made for great footage on my story. He was very attentive and mindful. We had an unfortunate mishap where the car was broken into. We filed a police report as we were both victims. My beach bag was stolen. He took us to the car rental agency as the key was in my bag. He waited and then took me back to my rental car. At the end of our tumultuous experience, he said, I feel like I should give you a hug. He felt so bad for me as my wallet was on my beach bag. Now I'm flying, without any ID and canceling credit cards. So, great excursion but DO NOT leave anything of value in the car. Another car was broken into as well. It's a remote area and after thinking about it, the "thieves" know you will be away from the car for a long time so it's a perfect opportunity. I would still recommend Patrick and this excursion.

Had a great time. Lauren was awesome and knowledgeable about Hawaiian life and culture. Unfortunately it was rainy season, so, we couldn't get in the cold waters, but we did get wet. We had a great time.

We had an amazing experience with Sirena. She had so much knowledge about the area. We explored the bamboo forest, found hidden waterfalls and cliff jumped into a private swimming spot. Its so relaxing to have someone else drive the curvy road while you just take in the beauty around you. It was the perfect combination of short hiking, adventure and relaxing. The kids loved it.

The pick up location is sketchy. But the rest of the day was amazing!! Wearing water shoes with sturdy bottoms made our day so much better. You’re walking through rivers and some mud. Sirena was fantastic. You can tell she loves the island.

Awesome experience! Highlight of our trip! Lauren was amazing! Highly recommend! It was definitely more treacherous of a hike than I was expecting, but we felt very safe with Lauren and my three kids were fine. Definitely bring water shoes!!

Lauren was a great tour guide and the hike was beautiful. The waterfall at the end of the hike was much smaller than the picture due to not having much rain at the time of year that we went on the hike but it allowed us to actually climb up into the waterfall to get some great pics. Lauren did not rush us at all and went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful...

Definitely worth it and swimming is a must! Go early so there is less people both on the trail and the road.

The tour guide was excellent, I have to admit I was disappointed in the transport given the five star experience but the tour guide did a fantastic job overcoming, and we had a great time. I highly recommend, just understand the vehicle will be sub par

Lauren took us on a hike through an amazing bamboo forest, across a beautiful creek and to 2 beautiful waterfalls. We stopped at the larger one for a swim. There were rocks to jump off and a rope swing. She showed us rainbow eucalyptus trees, edible flowers, and unique plants along the way and was very knowledgeable about the area and hiatory. Then she took us to Hookaipa beach on the way back to see the massive swell/waves and sea turtles. It was an epic adventure.

Trena was a great guide! She had great energy and made the short hike a fun experience. We didn't get to swim in the waterfalls unfortunately. I think just because the high flow of water at the time but still got to do a fun stream crossing.

This experience was Epic, we had such an incredible and amazing day. Especially because Lauren who gave us the tour was such great tour guide. It was about 2 1/2 hour tour with easy climbing and not dangerous. She made it so much fun and more than anything she made us feel like family. We talked about nature, trees and fruits and among other things, she gave us great tips to do other things around Maui. So far this has been our favorite tour at The 13 Crossings. Great staff, excellent communication and would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Trena was our tour guide and she was awesome! She was very knowledgeable with plant life and the surroundings. She lead us on a great hike where we got to see two waterfalls. I highly recommend this excursion. We had a great experience!

Great time! The hike was great fun and very beautiful! Both guides (I went twice) were very knowledgeable and really nice! Loved getting in the waterfalls to swim. We wore old tennis shoes which gave us more traction. Both hikes took us through the streams several times. I washed and dried them after first hike and then tossed them to lighten the luggage after the second hike.

So many wonderful things to say about this experience and our guide Lauren! She was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable not only about the jungle and the waterfalls but Maui in general! She was great taking lots of photos and videos for us! She had local snacks, water and towels for us we didn’t need to bring anything!! Seriously one the best experiences we have had!! Wow! Wow! Wow! This was such an awesome experience
Mike was so knowledgeable and confident. He made us feel at ease back in the bamboo jungle. Traversing some of the rocky terrain was tricky, but with Mike's expertise- it seemed easy. He was always encouraging and let us go at our own pace. We appreciated the historic perspective of our hike. The waterfalls were amazing! It was exciting to be a part of such natural beauty. This excursion was a trip that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime- we're so glad we went with Mike on this Epic Waterfall Adventure. (And we have the Go Pro footage to remember it for the rest of our lives)
