It was my wife and I and our 7 and 10 year old. Eric made it a wonderful experience for the kids helped them catch the waves just right for them as much as they needed, but also encouraged them try on their own as well. We all caught waves and wanted to keep doing it.

This is our first time surf and we all enjoyed the time. Our instructor Anne-Marie is amazing. We all learned the techniques form her and kids were doing great on the wave. This is definitely a great activity we enjoyed the most in Maui.

We were first time surfers- we had never surfed before. My husband and I took our three girls ages 10, 10, and 8. We were nervous but Jason was very informative, a very good teacher and helped us learn. He was great and very patient with us. We all got up on the board and surfed many waves. We weren’t sure what we were signing ourselves up for, but we couldn’t be happier that we did this experience while in Maui. Such a wonderful life experience! We all had the best time! The kids are hooked now!

My family has never gone surfing before, but after this experience we are looking forward to surfing whenever we can return to Hawaii. Our instructor was Sharky, and he embodied the truly laidback, Hawaiian attitude to everything. First he had us observe what others were doing, then he had us practice standing up, and then he had us paddle out after that. My daughter and husband picked it up seemingly right away. My daughter didn’t even really get her hair wet, riding to the shore time after time perfectly. Me, on the other hand, wiped out my first time and then was too paralyzed by fear to even try standing up again. But I still enjoyed the experience thoroughly and would do it again, and would highly recommend Sharky and this tour operator to anyone interested in doing what is the most iconically Hawaiian sport.

All five of us never surfed before and we all were able to get up on our boards and surf the waves multiple times during the lesson. Our instructor, Eric, was great. He gave us a lot of gear tips and he was super patient with us. My daughter was nervous about trying surfing before the lesson but had a blast.

Kain was amazing! We did a family group and all had a blast! Our 8 and 11 year old loved it! We also brought our 4 year old and our plan was for my wife and i to take turns surfing and watching her on the beach. Kain ended up taking our little one on the front of his board so we could all be out in the water and she also loved it! He even got her to stand up on his board while he caught a wave! I highly recommend this group for lessons!
