The tour was well organised, just met all the expectations. The landscapes were breathtaking, the itinerary perfectly balanced, and every stop felt meaningful. Our tour guide, David, was exceptional — knowledgeable, passionate, and incredibly attentive, bringing each place to life with stories and insights. Truly a highlight of our trip to Portugal.

The stops are extremely interesting but the pleasantness of the experience can be weather dependent.
Filipe was a very knowledgeable guide who was engaged with the group and wanted to know our interests. He made a couple special stops when people expressed additional interest and was able to inform us also about politics and literature. He was a safe driver and gave us ample free time for lunch, shopping, etc.
Cabo do Roca was not expressly listed on the itinerary as I recall but it was one of my favorite stops as the view was magnificent.
Unfortunately because it was cold and rainy 90% of the time, other stops were less pleasant.

Well paced with plenty of free time to explore on your own. The mini-bus option at Pena Palace is convenient and helpful. Restaurants in Cascais are left open for personal choice, so it’s best to do your own research based on preferences.

Fantastic day with a variety of experiences from sights to amazing pastries to cultural history. A great way to experience the beautiful areas outside of Lisbon. David was extremely knowledgeable and we truly enjoyed the time spent with him!

A visit to Sintra is a trip to a magical place
…a real-life Disney World! Sintra is “breath-taking”! You should purchase your ticket to enter the castle prior to your day trip and let your tour guide know your entry time (the best time is 11:30-12:00), so that he or she can get you there on-time! Our tour guide, Bruno, made sure to keep our entire trip on schedule.
We also made a stop at the westernmost point in Europe, which was very interesting!
Cascais was also an interesting, “must-see” stop on this tour!
Bruno, our tour guide is a trained archeologist, and is full of information about all the sites we visited!
Overall, my family had a great time on this day trip and will do it all over again on our next trip to Lisbon.

The tour was unguided. David our driver was very friendly and is flexible with times at each stop
Our tour had to be amended as the road to the Pena Palace was closed due to storm damage. David contacted us the night before to advise us, and an offer for cancelation was made. We decided to stay on the tour and we visited the Sintra Palace instead. We were glad we went.

We had so much fun! Our guide Nuno was exceptional. The information that he gave us during this great excursion was very interesting and accurate. He was always on time, and very thoughtful about our comfort. The food advice from his previous clients were spot on.

Pena Palace, Sintra, Cabo de Roca, and Cascais were all wonderful. Emerson was very accomodating and patient. Thought we could be picked up at our Sintra hotel but that did not happen. It would be nice if that was clear ahead of time instead of one day in advance. Our booking said pick up was at our Sintra hotel.

Jorge was a great tour guide who was knowledgeable and very personable. Met nice people and saw incredible beauty.
Please note this tour does not go to Regaleira. We were disappointed with that omission. Otherwise a memorable experience.

Joao was a knowledgeable and personal tour guide. Unfortunately, the fires in the area prevented us from going to two of the places we really wanted to see; Pena Palace and Regaleira. An unfortunate and unexpected event. The company offered to give us back our money but we went anyway as we were leaving Portugal the next day. Joao, our guide, did his best in this situation.

I was not happy we had confirmed pickup at hotel, but the night before Viator insisted we walk down a very steep hill to another destination with inadequate directions (I'm injured and it was not convenient). We were also expected to walk back up the hill after being dropped off at the end under the guise they could not pick-up or drop-off at our hotel, however no other driver complained about doing so the entire trip.
Rodrigo, our tour guide was very sweet and knowledgable. Pena Palace was beautiful on the outside (not sure the inside tour was worthwhile and it was uncomfortably crowded and certainly not on par with Versailles), but we loved the gardens. Rodrigo did point out Regaleira Palace far off in the distance, and we were a bit disappointed there was not a photo op. Sintra and Cascais were stunnin and definitely highlights of the day. We had a fabulous meal and enjoyed poking around the shops. What I enjoyed most was all the history and stories Rodrigo gave us while taking in the scenary.

It is very nice to see it all in one day. I think it was efficient and we had a nice tour guide. I’m sorry if i was sleepy on our way back i guess big sunny days walking will do that haha ! Yet it was nice .

We had an amazing day with our tour guide, Jorge!! We were picked up at a location of our choice at 8 am and were pleasantly surprised that it ended up being a private tour.
Jorge was very accommodating with our itinerary requests and knowledgeable about the historical sites. Would definitely do a tour again with this company!

This tour was perfect. David was incredible. We travelled with two seniors and a toddler and he was very accommodating and patient. I also loved that it was a small tour and it was the perfect balance of guided but also had free time to roam a little. David is also very knowledgeable and very open to questions and you will learn a lot about the history and sites. Recommend all around.

I highly recommend this tour, Miguel the guide / driver was really very efficient. Good driving and very prepared. He picked us up in front of the hotel and accompanied us back.
