Meet your experienced pilot-guide and climb aboard the GA8 Airvan, a small plane specially designed for observation with large bubble windows, high wings, and slower cruising speed. The aircraft seats up to six passengers for an intimate, small-group experience. Put on a pair of noise-canceling headphones with a 2-way intercom so you can communicate with the pilot and hear narration about the sights below.

Unforgettable Views Over Kauai!
Taking the “Wings Over Kauai” airplane tour was easily one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Seeing the island from that vantage point was absolutely breathtaking—there’s something truly special about experiencing such beauty from above. The views were stunning in every direction, and it gave us a whole new appreciation for the island.
The flight itself was smooth and enjoyable, and our pilot Marcus was
excellent. It was a peaceful, almost surreal experience taking in the scenery from the sky. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kauai—it’s an unforgettable way to see the island.

The views are spectacular and well worth the trip! It’s better to eat something light before going because it can make you a little queasy but the pilot offers ginger chews and ginger ale to help. I sweat a lot from mild motion sickness so I would have dressed lightly if I ever did something similar again. Other than that, it was amazing!

Our pilot was Marcus, and he made sure we saw all of the sights. Sightseeing by airplane is different than by helicopter because helicopters can get closer to the sights, but the vistas from the plane were beautiful, and Marcus was great at pointing them out. Great value for the experience. Highly recommend.

I was looking to see the island from an aerial point of view, and for me, this was a perfect experience! Our experience was a tale of two entirely different companies. While the actual excursion and our pilot, Marcus, were absolutely awesome, the customer service at the front desk was incredibly unprofessional and cast a dark cloud over what was supposed to be a fun family vacation memory.
We arrived well ahead of our scheduled check-in time. Because the waiting area is shared by multiple excursion companies, we sat down just to the left of the desk. I walked back and forth to the counter several times to check in, but no one was there as the agent was understandably busy assisting another group with their takeoff.
When the agent, Jhanya (sp?), finally returned to the desk, she immediately greeted us with attitude. She claimed that because we weren’t sitting directly in front of her, she assumed we were "no-shows." I politely explained that we had been waiting the entire time and that I had repeatedly walked up to check in while she was away. Instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding, she doubled down and rudely insisted we should have known to sit dead-center so she could see us. I told her I wasn’t a mind reader and wasn't there to argue.
The final straw came during the actual paperwork. She asked where we were visiting from. When we replied "California," she looked at my entire family and snarkily remarked, "I figured as much."
It was a completely unprovoked, condescending regional insult. I chose to let it go in the moment so it wouldn't ruin the day for my kids, but looking back, it is deeply bothersome. People who treat paying guests with that level of hostility and snark have no business working in a front-facing hospitality role.
Go for Marcus-he was incredible-but management seriously needs to address the attitude and behavior at their front desk.

Our pilot Marcus was absolutely incredible! Afterwards, my husband and I said that we consider this an absolute must-do during your trip to Kauai! I will never stop recommending it. There was also plenty of room for my 1-year-old on my lap.

The only way to see all of Kauai is from the air. We were so grateful we booked this as our 1st adventure on Kauai. We got the lay of the Island, noting areas we wanted to visit.

This was the MOST Amazing Experience I have had on any of the islands. Koa the pilot is so knowledgeable. He was born and raised here on Kauai. The flight brought tears to my eyes. If you have only 1 adventure to choose please choose this one. And see if Koa is available to be your pilot!

This company is very safe and professional. If you get motion sickness easily, be sure to take something for it. The plane is very small and you feel every bump and turn!

The staff was very welcoming from the moment that we arrived. Travis our pilot and guide was born and raised and had a great deal of knowledge about the island. This island is absolutely magical from the air and our pilot knew his homeland and geology very well. He explains what is happening during periods of turbulence, definitely puts you at ease. The price compared to many of the flights was more than reasonable! Absolutely amazing experience and if you can squeeze into your itinerary, you will never regret your decision! Your pictures will be amazing and you will have a true understanding why Hawaiians are so very protective of their home! So many acres of untouched lush green vegetation and flowers and the Napali Coast which can only be reached by boat or plane is just phenomenal! Magical experience! Just do it! Tip well!

The crew was very attentive. They provided ginger chews and drinks for the flight. Our pilot, Kade, (sorry if I butchered the spelling) did a wonderful job touring the island. He kept us laughing throughout and provided great insight on the history and views of Kauai.
