Upon entering the Lihue Airport stay to the left towards the CARGO/HELIPORT. Take a left at the second stop sign and head north on Ahukini Road. Take the first right after the UPS Customer Center Drive and look for the Air Kauai sign. Park on the grass area and check in in the black office.

- Total weight per passenger: 240 lbs
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 3 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability

- Infants must sit on laps
- Most travelers can participate
- Any single passenger exceeding 240lbs, two passengers combined weight of 420lbs or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 200lbs or more must purchase an additional seat. This is for safety and comfort of all passengers on board.

- No bags allowed on board. This includes purses, backpacks, fanny packs, etc,
- We ask that all passengers wear dark clothing to help have less reflection in the windows when flying and therefore you can get better photos during your tour.
- Flight routes & sights may vary due to weather.
- Infants under 24 months must sit on an adult lap. Please contact us if bringing an infant. Over 24 months must occupy their own paid seat.
- The helicopter is a shared cabin holding up to 6 passengers on board.
- Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter.
- All passenger weights MUST be provided at time of booking. Under representation of body weights may result in cancellation at check in with no refund.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers

Changed flight 3 times on us, rude staff. Boring and short flight. Not even 45 minutes. Couldn't understand the pilot, unprofessional to have children running around

Mahalo for the feedback; it is unfortunately you did not enjoy the beauty of Kauai from above on the helicopter tour. I do understand the frustration of your flight being changed and I will definitely be talking to the staff about attitude towards our guests so for that I do apologize.

Awesome experience! Our pilot, Steve, was extremely experienced and I felt very safe. He has been flying in Kauai for over 30 years and knows the area well and gave a very entertaining experience full of history.

My wife I booked this tour and have no regrets ! From the young ladies working the counter and Brian who greeted us with a smile and jokes putting us at ease . The pilot was also put every one on board at ease with his calm demeanor and greeting each passenger by name was a big plus for me . Hoping to come back with the grandchildren.

Kathy from Air Kuaui was amazing trying to navigate the back and forth with Viator. The connection with Viator was complicated as they operate with too many hands. We found ourselves repeating our story to at least 3-4 different representatives. We resented having to spend so much time on our vacation working with too many Viator representatives to resolve our issues.

My wife and I had an amazing experience. We were lucky enough to sit in the front of the helicopter next to the pilot. The pilot kept us entertained and laughing the whole time, and made us feel like his personal family guests. Obviously the views of all the major sites are nothing less than spectacular. We highly recommend Air Kaua’i!

We had a hard time finding the location (viator sent us to the wrong address) but the team at Air Kauai was so helpful to get us back on the right path. Everyone was great to work with. Uncle Steve was a great guide. We loved every bit of it! Had us all grinning ear to ear, lots of laughs. The music he added to the fight was a nice touch too. We had a blast and would definitely come back!

Don’t book in advance if weather forecast is not great. They will tell you why it’s so great to go on rainy and cloudy days so they can get their revenue but it’s just not. It’s a rougher ride, you can’t get good pics in the rain through the windows, and for the price it’s just not worth not giving yourself the best experience. We begged them to let us postpone (not a refund) to two days later and they said no.
One thing I found annoying relative to other sightseeing flights was that they don’t have microphones in the headsets so you’re stuck for an hour not talking to anyone in your group or getting to ask any questions to the pilot. You just sit there and let the pilot tell you things for an hour. So if he’s not entertaining it gets old. We filled up four barf bags on the trip so take dramamine on rough days.

The whole experience was great as soon as I walked in the door to the office. The woman behind the desk was super friendly. Waiting room was nice and comfortable. A younger gentleman who showed us a safety video and took us out to the helicopter was super cool as well. The tour itself was amazing… pilot was awesome and the scenery was breathtaking let alone being in an open door helicopter was crazy. Highly recommend!

The experience and views were amazing. Our pilot was entertaining and gave a great commentary about various aspects of the island including food recs as we flew around. Though the ride was very smooth, both me and my fiance are prone to motion sickness and both felt a bit nauseated over time so would recommend that folks take precautions if also prone to it.
