Great tour
Our driver, Leone, did an excellent job of giving information about where we traveled. We got to see other things besides Waimea Canyon which I would have missed if we had gone on our own. Waimea Canyon was incredible! I felt we had adequate time at each stop without pressure to hurry up and move on.

Kauai (Waimea)
John was great! He picked us up at the meeting location and away we went. We saw a lot of Kauai and Waimea Canyon, some low key points and some high profile as well. John was very knowledgeable on the stops and the island. He really took good care of our group. He even took us to and from dinner after the tour had ended. I highly recommend using John and his company. Thank you, Michael.

Great coast down the canyon
Wonderful guides took us on a fabulous and safe coast down Waimea Canyon. It’s a great way to see the canyon as there are stops along the way up to see the sights. Our guides offered wonderful stories and shared knowledge throughout the tour. The coast down was super fun! There wasn’t much traffic going up due to the time of day, so it felt like we had the road to ourselves. Guides were very safety conscious

Such fun!
So much fun and Ernesto and Michael are excellent tour guides and told us so much information about Kauai. They were very careful about our safety.

  • Waimea Canyon itself is dry and dusty, but the Na Pali Coast can be foggy and wet. Be prepared and dress in layers for whatever the weather may bring.

  • Although the canyon trails aren't generally wheelchair accessible, the many lookout points are.

  • For experienced hikers, longer treks—including guided multi-day hut-to-hut hikes—are an option. Trail maps and additional information are available in the Kokee Natural History Museum and Visitor Center north of the canyon.

  • There are no gas stations and only one restaurant along Waimea Canyon Drive—a route that, depending on how many stops you make, could take all day. Choose a tour that includes lunch or snacks, or pack food.
