Best tour guide for family
Our guides for the horseback riding on the beach was so patient with me and handled the horses well. I was nervous on the horse and he kept checking to make sure I was ok. Top notch!! Miguel ensured us we would be back on time to the boat and as he drove us through Ensenada, he told us about the history and pointed out different things to do.

Quad Tour
We had a blast. Carlos was the best, and very easy to work with. They made it extremely easy to find them off of our cruise ship, and then we got to tour the city on quads and he took us up to the prettiest views in the city. after we were done riding carlos showed us his favorite food and Paleterías spot in town which was delicious. I would come back and book this again!

DEFINITELY WORTH IT! 4 experiences in 1 tour!
The tour was amazing! Thrilling zip lining, La bufadora blowhole, Mexican flea market, and authentic food! Highly recommend; definitely book if you’re reading this! We had such a great time with our charming tour guide Eric. We got back with time to spare with no complications! He accompanied us on an authentic Ensenada experience. He took us to local restaurants and gave us real friend advice rather than tourism propaganda advice as we went through the busy market.
He was very knowledgeable about the history and it was interesting learning about the area and buildings. He left our group to explore by ourselves and we don’t feel rushed at all. Eric was a very pleasant guide to spend the day with. He spoke highly of the rest of his tour guide team that works for the company so go book with them! It’s worth it!

This is THE tour to book in Ensenada!
If you’re going to Ensenada, this private tour with Miguel is THE tour to book. From pick up to drop off, the entire tour was tailored to our timing and preferred itinerary. We arrived in Ensenada on a cruise and Miguel picked us up at an easy meeting point, which was only about a 5-10 minute walk from our ship. Instead of going to La Bufadora right away, we asked if he could take us to Sunday Mass at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, about a mile from the port. He happily took us to church and waited for us outside. Afterwards, at our request, he took us to a very nice gas station convenience store where we had a lot of fun picking out drinks and snacks for the drive to La Bufadora. Once we arrived at La Bufadora, which is accessible by walking through a flea market, he gave us some useful tips on how to haggle with vendors. He asked us how much time we wanted to spend there and we chose to meet up with him in an hour. The flea market and blow hole are lots of fun. Vendors do accept US dollars. Make sure to haggle and don’t accept the first price. Also… be sure to bring small US bills and coins. All the public restrooms charge for use, about 75 cents to $1 US per person. We also mentioned to Miguel that we’d like to have lunch and margaritas. He took us to a great taco place in Ensenada. He took it upon himself to grab several tables and push them together for our group. He had us sit down while he took our orders and placed the order for us, instead of making us wait in line like the other customers. He served us our orders, along with some chips, guacamole, pineapple for the table. Afterward, he took us to one of the local bars that claims to have invented the margarita. It was a beautiful Spanish colonial building and the margaritas were huge. Miguel once again got us some tables and wiped them down himself. He got us back to the boat with plenty of time to spare.
Miguel really went above and beyond to take care of us and make sure we had a good time. Even leading up to the event, he was super fast in responding to all of my questions. We loved having a private tour for our group and we can’t believe the incredible value— this was even cheaper than the large-group excursions offered by the cruise. Would highly recommend booking this!!

Skip the Typical Tourist Traps & Do This Instead
Adriel was an incredible guide. My family and I had a wonderful time. It was so fun, educational, and relaxing! Though we went to 5 different stops, these were my Top 3: Tacos Fenix, Tequila Tasting, and the Plaza Contenedores. I was trying to pace myself on the food though it was our first stop, but really wish I ended up ordering more than 1 taco at Tacos Fenix. La Guerrerense was fantastic as well, though I think one tostada is probably enough unless you are a ceviche fiend. The Tequila Tasting was SO educational and SO fun. They were really generous with their pours and it helped my family appreciate true tequila so much more. I'd recommend skipping the lookout over the hill as it was a bit of a walk across broken glass and bits. Plaza Contenedores was a much better spot to get photos by/with the water and was much more relaxing. There were 20 of us family members on the cruise - some went horseback riding, some just wandered around town. When we all debriefed at the end of the day, everyone seemed to agree that our group that went on the food/drink tour had the best time out of everyone!

A great day in ensenada
Time well spent! Just the ride alone from ship to La Bufadora is 30-40 min but you get a good look at Ensenada and the surrounding area. Horses were great and beautiful and well behaved and cared for, able to run on the beach. La Bufadora is dependent on wave action, so if you can go on incoming or high tide, more spectacular. It is a funnel that channels the wave action, not a true geyser. The flea market scene there is hopping, hundreds of shops and stalls as you walk the gauntlet from parking lot to La Bufadora. Local delicacy is grilled smoked clams w chopped red onion pepper tomato shrimp with grilled melted white cheese on top. Served on big open clamshells. Wow. All this was thanks to Genaro our driver who knew everyone and everything - he lived 20+ yr in the States, perfect English and returned to his home town Ensenada! We see why!

Our cab driver Juan Carlos was amazing. He was our tour director for the day. Mario's ATV was a great set up we were taken care of properly instructed a guided on a great trail in Ensanada. All 3 of us felt safe secure and quality ATVs were used for the trip. But it is very dusty wear clothing that can stand upnto the dust.

Highlight of our Trip! Great for families, kids of all ages!
What a GREAT time! Osmar and his crew took excellent care of us, incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable of Ensenada! A local family experience! Las Canadas is an amazing area (it’s huge), full of activities for the whole family to enjoy. The shuttle was very clean and comfortable. You can spend the whole day here! Highly recommend doing the zip line and all of the suspension bridges and enjoy the local Mexican fare! We traveled with three teenagers and they loved doing this! 5 stars all around!

Great tour but pre plan your transportation
My son and I enjoyed the ATV ride. Efren was very friendly and a great tour guide. The scenary through the vineyard valley was beautiful and the place we stopped for lunch and drinks was nice. The only thing that was hard was transportation. You can get an Uber to drop you off but it was very hard to get an Uber or Taxi to pick you up unless you made arrangements for one to wait for you. But the price for this tour was pretty reasonable compared to others and at least this place did not require for you yo have 3 ppl or more. I would definitely do this tour again with other family and friends.

Beautiful views and a comfortable ride on the horses.
A lovely, relaxing horse walk along a beautiful, quiet beach. We were collected by Crystal near our cruise terminal in her car, it was super easy and comfortable. Alex was our guide with the horses and he was kind enough to take photos and a video of our tour which was sent to us by WhatsApp.

You won’t be disappointed!
Amazing experience!!
Our tour guide, I believe his name is Juan Carlos was fabulous, we told him what we wanted to see and do after the Pai Pai experience and he made it happen. No problem. Pai Pai is absolutely AMAZING - animal experience like NO OTHER. I wish I could visit everyday! La Bufadora and the shopping along the way was really neat as well. Definitely can’t wait to return!!

There is much that makes Ensenada an alluring vacation destination, whether you’re drawn by outdoor activities like fishing or whale watching or you’re more interested in sampling some of Baja California’s best wines. There are Ensenada tours to satisfy any travel interest, including wine-tasting excursions through Guadalupe Valley, off-road adventures on horseback or all-terrain vehicles, and watching water shoot into the air at one of the biggest sea geysers on the continent.
