Nicole, our guide was excellent. Our whole group had a lot of fun visiting the historic bars and hearing the ghost stories.

First! Our tour guide did her best to make it a worthy experience. However, we only made it to 2 Taverns out of 6 and one was not on the list. Union Oyster house was closed. The Green Dragon was not allowing anyone else in the bar. We skipped several others and ended at the Bell in Hand and that was it. We did not see anything other than the Bell in Hand that was on the agenda. Again, tour director was great. The experience was poor.

We lost our guide after the second stop due to the bar being to crowded and did not find her anywhere outside the building

Tour guide Nicole was fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. Each stop was a story based on the history of the pub. There was enough time to walk around and have one beer at each stop. The downfall was that the pubs were very busy and packed. (We went on a Friday night)

The only negative was it was really hard to hear the tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and gave not only historical info about each location but a ghost story as well as a local brew recommendation.

Met some fun people but not the same as the previous haunted pub crawls I have been on. Other places I have been to there was a haunting to go along with each pub and kind of a tour. The hauntings we were told about were mostly in the public garden. So basically paying someone to walk you bar to bar.

Max was such a cool individual however the experience really fell short. We basically paid money to hang out with strangers. Unfortunately, I would not recommend.

The tour guide failed to connect the location we visited to the tale. She kept referring to spiritual issues that occurred in Boston Common, not those connected to pubs visited. On our first stop, she could not gain admission to all in our group as the pub was at capacity, We walked away after stop 2. Have done ghost tours with other companies. This was a complete fail.

Nicole was great! We really enjoyed this. She was. very knowledgeable and super funny. There were so many ghost stories she told as we went from tavern to tavern - each more historical than the next. Was a great chill night and fun way to have a night out on the town.

Great tour to get oriented in the area, fun stops and we had a fun group of people. The history stories and sights at night are really cool and not crowded. Stopped at the Bell in Hand Tavern when they had someone at the door checking IDs and they wouldn't take my husband's US military ID and another group member had an ID from the EU and they would not accept that without a passport as well so we skipped that and went to the next place.

At first, I was hesitant to book this because there were so few reviews and the ones that there were were very mixed. We had the best time and our guide, Nicole, was amazing. Even though the pubs/taverns were really busy (we went on a Friday night) we were able to get inside and get a drink quickly. Because the places were crowded, Nicole told many of the stories outside either before or after we went into the establishment so that we could hear her. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who likes ghost tours and drinking.

Amazing amazing tour with an awesome tour guide! My husband and I have been to Boston many times to visit family but we never really took the time to learn about the history of the city. On our trip this time, we decided to do some tours and saw this pub crawl!
First off, we were running 10 mins late to our tour because of traffic. The tour company was so gracious and called us to
Confirm if we were still coming. We told
Them to start the tour and we meet them at the first pub. It was super easy to find our group and it was instant fun! Our tour guide, Will, was both super knowledgeable, and also super funny! We learned a ton and laughed the whole way while visiting these awesome
Haunted spots! Even though these bars are technically tourist attractions, they had a laid back local feel and were so awesome.
Bartenders were so cool as well!
Highly recommend!! Cool date night , friends trip or even solo traveler activity!

This tour is not as advertised. None of the bars that had accompanying ghost stories were open. We were taken to 2 bars and then dropped off across the street. This is a waste of time and money. Strong discourage anyone from taking this tour. Viator should do a better job of vetting local tour operators from scamming tourists.
