Tony was our guide and was one of the most knowledgeable tour guides I have ever had. He was able not only speak in detail about the Revolutionary War and early settlement, he was able to tie constitutional events to current events. It was an incredible evening. Since it was a pub tour, he also knew a lot about beer and pubs.

Very nice guide. Problem is we got a bit of Boston Pub history, practically no history of or information on beer (like what makes New England IPA) and beer tastings was “there’s the bar, buy yourself a beer”. No planned tastings or group seating. Basically we went to two pubs, got a small bit of the pubs unique history and that’s it. Felt more like we were just pointed in a direction and that’s it. I’ve been on beer tours before and this one needs improvement. Suggest side room or designated area. pub owner greeting, organized tastings and description of what we are tasting. Hard to do at happy hour times but schedule off hour times.

Nothing memorable. The best part was meeting other people on the tour. Guide was really nice but was young and she’d only been doing the job for 1 month so it was a little disorganized and there wasn’t much learning or laughs.
