Thanks Thursday for a great tour! Would have liked the option to be able to tip electronically (didn’t have cash) using something like a Paypal.

Kimmy was wonderful and tailored the tour to our small group. She brought history and spook to every story.

Wear good shoes and be well rested. You will definitely be walking uphill and downhill and steps and make sure that you've eaten well before you take the trip because you could get scared.

definitely pg tour, tour guide it is said and UM with every other phrase. there was some good history sprinkled in, but was not very entertaining.

Nate was our tour guide and he was hilarious and super knowledgeable about the haunted parts of Boston. It was a creepy, rainy night and Nate brought such a great balance of spooky history and funny jokes so it was super engaging.

Our guide was awesome!!! Very informative and he was also very knowledgeable. We will do it again. We went back to the Cemetaries the next day to follow up on what he told us.
Loved it!

We left after 30 minutes. This would probably be a good tour with a more experienced guide.
After hearing “umm” for the 10th time in a single sentence, we had to bail. She brought her boyfriend on the tour, announced that people should feel free to smoke and vape on the tour (this is whatever, it was just weird because it was Halloween and there were dozens of children walking by at every moment). As we gathered to hear about a statue, the group covered the whole street so pedestrians were forced to walk into the road with oncoming traffic to avoid us. The guide did not notice or mention safety at all. We saw a woman with a stroller have to go into the street to get around us.
Her jokes were pretty flat and borderline offensive in moments. When telling the story of a woman who died in the Common, she said “Who would want to be a maid? Nobody. That’s just not the vibe” There’s such a better way to make this point about this individuals attitude at the time, and the lack of awareness that some people on your tour could work as maids was just completely lost on her.
Overall, the umms, likes, and totallys are what killed this tour. Like… RIP.

Learning about history. The tour was more about history and not about ghosts. Our tour guide arrived 2 minutes before 9 , which I feel is late since we all had to be there at 8:45.

Omni hotel and the Charles Sickens mirror, we enjoyed seeing the mirror and walking through the hotel. We didn’t need to go downstairs - but just be told about the memorabilia down there.

First, our guide was late, so that already affected the whole experience. He came over on a bike holding a broken crutch. It was odd. He didn't have enough time to check everyone in, so he had no idea if half the group even paid. The tour started pretty well. We walked to Boston Common and our guide told us all the great things we would see. However, almost 2 hours later, we were not done our 90 minute tour and never even got to a cemetery. The guide was personable and knowledgeable about Boston history, but we were hoping to hear more about ghosts and scary things, rather than a history book of the city. It was also awkward walking around Boston with our guide and his bike and broken crutch. He might have been high and kept on dropping things all night. We left after 2 hours to find a cemetery on our own. The highlight of the tour was when we saw 5 adorable bunnies by the State House. Everyone was enthralled by their adorableness, except the guide. The mouse trying to climb the stairs in Boston Common was also cute.

The guide was under the influence of drugs. He rolled up late on a 10 speed bike, a crutch, pants falling off, and just a total train wreck! He dropped his crutch which I’m not sure why he had in the first place but when he bent over to pick it up a small glass vile with a white powder in it fell out of his backpack. At one point the strap to his backpack got tangled up in the spokes of his bike. He struggled with that for minutes in the middle of the street. While doing that he bent over again and a glass bottle fell out of his backpack and shattered everywhere. At that point we called an uber. I COULDN’T MAKE THIS UP!!!! It was actually disgusting.

Too much time spent at each location. Guide seemed knowledgeable but focused more on history than the topic of the tour. Spots selected for speaking were usually near traffic which made it hard to hear the guide, especially when he looked away from the group. A bit overrated in my opinion.

Johnny was our ghost host and he was fabulous. So full of knowledge, history and personal stories, and he was so animated and made the experience very engaging and entertaining. Be prepared to spend some time if you get him as your host though. And that’s not a bad thing.
Amanda_R, May 2023
This tour was great for learning about the history of the city as well as stories of hauntings, sightings, etc. Others have mentioned the Omni Parker House and I agree that it was a really cool stop.
Katie_M, Apr 2023
Katherine was knowledgeable and friendly. She went above and beyond to wait for us, as we were delayed. We enjoyed learning more about the city’s history and hauntings!
Maureen_B, Apr 2023
Katherine was a lovely guide, very knowledgeable and informative. She told us lots of facts and stories not heard on another tour. We had her all to ourselves as the other couple cancelled.
