It was a wonderful float with beautiful scenery, true to its name, a lazy float. We enjoyed it greatly and appreciated the extra effort the guide put into making our experience memorable. He was knowledgeable about the area and shared many interesting things about our surroundings. We booked at the last minute and the services remained exceptional. My son and I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy and appreciate a beautiful piece of Alaska.

This was truly a wonderful experience. Regardless of your skill set, Derek will make you comfortable and confident. The scenery is majestic. I cannot recommend enough. On a scale of 1-5, I give a 6.

Family trip to Alaska

Guide was great, his name was Derek. He was attentive and made us feel safe. He explained everything to us. They offered extra clothes to keep us warm. We had choices on the river. The group was just our family. Kayaks were comfortable. The team offered snacks and warm drinks. They had hand warmers and gloves which was wonderful. They had binoculars if you wanted. They really thought of everything. Derek was informative. My family had an amazing time, great memories and pictures.

This was so much fun, so peaceful on the water. I had never kayaked before, Anna was our tour guide and did a great job with getting us set up, keeping our group together and making the experience fun. HIGHLY recommend!

Derek & Danika were both extremely professional yet warm and engaging in keeping us safe and showing us how to kayak the Knik river! I had never kayaked before (I am a not too active 56yo female) nor did my 17yo nephew have much experience and we were able to enjoy ourselves. Coming from a teen in stating “life changing” should tell you how fabulous our trek was! Highly recommend for all ages and all levels of fitness!

The trip was great for our whole family. Guide has strong focus on safety and trip was not difficult for anyone. The views were beautiful.

This was a wonderful float trip. It was easy and relaxing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and narrated the trip but not so much that we missed the peace and quiet of our time on the river. I would recommend it to anyone old or young enough to hold a paddle. I suggest that you wear shoes that can get wet, because you will need to get into an out of the kayak while it is in the water. Overall a very low stress way to see an Alaskan river. I highly recommend the trip.
