Wonderful, informative experience with Vinny!! He stopped at a few locations for photo ops, overall a great way to learn about Anchorage.
It was my first time in Anchorage. It was my first time in Alaska. I found the trolley ride to be informative and enjoyable. Our Driver Vinny was the absolute best! You may lose him to working for the Chamber of Commerce because he was really pumping up the city!

My experience was overall better than most trolleys I have been on. My guide was very kind, he shared some insight on some places, and even answered some of our questions. My guide was super funny and helpful, definitely 5 stars.
Vinny was the nicest tour guide. We had a great time on the Trolley Tour and would recommend it to a friend.
The Trolley tour was wonderful and even though it was rainy and overcast I still had a great time. Our guide told us lots of stories about the area. I loved visiting the Ulu factory. I would recommend this tour anyone.
Five-Star Trolley Experience!
Our trolley tour today was a five-star experience from start to finish. Our driver was exceptionally knowledgeable, sharing fascinating history and educational insights throughout the entire route.
We especially appreciated the scenic stops and the fact that he gave us ample time to hop off, explore, and take photos without ever feeling rushed. His professionalism and storytelling made this tour one of the absolute highlights of our trip.
If you are looking for an informative, scenic, and well-paced city tour, this is definitely worth booking. Kudos to the driver for an outstanding job
I learned a lot of tidbits about Anchorage, including the underground house in one of the neighborhoods! We also saw the float plane airport! It was great to have a guide from the city, and his family went 3 generations back from Anchorage. The coupon book is not very useful so I would not make your choice based on that. But I still found this tour well worth it as a way to get to know some of the area.
Driver very informative, seen alot, I would ask anyone who will be going to Alaska and loves Anchorage, to take the tour
The guide was very informative and engaged with our group the entire time. I could tell he wanted to share so much more with us but under time constraints he couldn’t. Might be a future tour, with the same guide, that’s a little longer. But, when you’re enjoying yourself, time flys.. I booked this for me and my mom. I’m here on business and honestly didn’t have the time to join but I made time. She enjoyed a lot, so that made me happy.

Expected to see some good sights around Anchorage and learn about its history...that was not the case. I assume the tour of Anchorage didn't meet my expectations is because it's such a small town, and much of any historical buildings from the early 1900's didn't survive? Bus driver was very personable, nice and funny. But, the tour was almost entirely (literally) a comedy act of jokes. The four adult family members were all disappointed. The tour had a few highlights, but not worth the time or money.
It was a wonderful, fun, and educational experience about the city! We only had a short amount of time to see Anchorage and our guide was able to inform us about many of the highlights in that short amount of time!
Our driver was friendly and interesting, providing lots of fun facts. Easy to locate meeting place..

A nice quick highlights tour of stops just outside the city centre of Anchorage. Tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining which the tour appreciated.
Our tour guide, Matt, provided a great introduction and some good insight to Anchorage. He obviously knows this city he’s been living in for five years very well. The tour lasted for almost an hour and a half, briefly hitting some interesting spots, with two stops where we were able to get off the bus, that gave you a great taste of what you might want to return to and explore more deeply on your own. He shared his thoughts on some of the great restaurants in the area, and it was especially pleasant to have the places he took his father to when he recently visited Matt. Personally, I also loved that its pickup and drop off point is right next to Tia’s Gourmet Sausage and Gyros because it gave me the chance to visit a place I was already planning to go to so that I could try a reindeer hot dog and a caribou/elk gyros when the tour was over.

Lots of things to see and getting on and off the trolley was easy. Your guide (Vinnie) was knowledgeable and entertaining. Grab a reindeer sausage sandwich and beverage before getting on the trolley. 🤡👍🏻

We had a great time. Vinnie, the guide, was great. Seeing Anchorage was very enjoyable despite the rain.
Our tour guide was Vinny (yes, originally from New York 😆) and he was hilarious. He made learning fun. This was a quick 1 hr tour to get to see Anchorage and learn about its history. I highly recommend this tour. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day.

Good opportunity to learn about Anchorage history and geology. However, if you want more time to get out and move around then you might want to look for another option. Good intro to Anchorage. Very friendly staff.
We would have appreciated a more in depth history and tour of the city rather than stopping at a tourist shop 10 minutes into the tour. No true information about the naming of the city and no mention of the oldest building and Iditarod race. Seeing a neighborhood and hearing prices of homes is not sharing information worth $100.
This tour was a great way to get familiar with the city. While we didn’t get to see any deer, moose, bear(thank God) it was so informative. The best part of our tour was our guide. I don’t remember his name but he was bald and had lots of tattoos. He was so engaging and kind and was open to take photos of us and answering any question we had. 10/10 would recommend
Excellent tour and I highly recommend. John was a wealth of knowledge and he made the trip better! Learned so much and saw a seal fishing for salmon
This was a great way to get an overview of Anchorage. We were able to stop at different locations throughout the city. Our guide was full of facts and information.
