History of the city with stops for pictures . Guide is really knowledgeable and really nice . I would do this again .

We only had one afternoon to spend in Anchorage, and so glad we spent it with John on this tour. He was informative and entertaining, and gave us a wonderful afternoon.

Our driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. He's lived in the area for a long time so he was great at giving up tips for places to visit. We even got to see a mother and baby moose use the "moose gate"!

We enjoyed the Deluxe Trolley Tour. It’s a great intro to Anchorage. Our guide (a former school teacher) was very helpful and friendly!
Sharon_J, Aug 2026
This was a fun easy way to see Anchorage. We learned a lot and saw locations we wanted to see again.
JOCELYN_I, Aug 2026
Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed the trolley tour! It was a great way to get an overview of Anchorage, with plenty of time at each stop to explore, take in the sights, and snap some photos.
Lilly, our driver and guide, was fantastic—very informative, funny, and friendly. She made the tour enjoyable and engaging from start to finish.
We highly recommend this trolley tour to anyone visiting Anchorage. It’s a fun and easy way to see the city and learn more about its history and highlights!

Terrible driver/narrator. The first 5 minutes of his comedy routine about him and his mamma and meeting Jesus and the bull moose were funny. But the same routine repeated throughout the whole hour and a half was too much. The rest of the time was spent on the 1964 earthquake. A few interesting tidbits, but not at all what we were expecting. Also, his calling people out based on their country or state was borderline not pc. Waste of time and money

Very informative tour. John had much knowledge to share and did so in an entertaining manner. Highly recommend if you want to learn some of the history of Alaska and Anchorage.

This was a wonderful tour, John was a knowledgeable and very entertaining guide. We learned a lot about the area's history, and current day facts. Plus, the scenic stops were amazing... Highly recommend for anyone new to Alaska!

Our tour was more of a political stand up routine that fell in the anti woke category. Not what we signed up for.
Pamela_K, Aug 2026
Terrific adventure - learned a lot about Alaskan history and the earthquake. The guide is what made it - funny, educational and great sense of humor.
Gerald_B, Aug 2026
Excellent Tour with an excellent guide, Donna, who knew so much about the Anchorage and Alaskan history
Ayman_S, Aug 2026
We really enjoyed the tour, and John shared lots of great details about Anchorage and its history. He was clearly passionate about the city and its story, which made the tour even more enjoyable
Erin_H, Aug 2026
Very interesting and entertaining. Nonstop facts about the history of Anchorage and lots of stories about the people of the town.

Donna our guide was absolutely amazing!!! It was very informative and loved learning the history of anchorage!
Paddywagon4217, Aug 2026
Great driver/ guide! Thanks John. Lots of interesting stories to share! Very easy to hear these tales!
Shadeya_N, Aug 2026
There was not much history or culture talk. More about the 1964 earthquake and the drivers personal experiences. I would do this again but would want a different driver.
Anne_G, Aug 2026
Don’t do it,
#1- no info on arts and native population
#2-stop the sexist jokes , became tiresome
#3- fill the 2 hours with actual sightseeing , not stopping in front of underground house for 15 minutes and telling us your personal history
Tereasa_H, Aug 2026
Very entertaining experience. Learned about the Anchorage history and the earthquake. I definitely recommend this tour.
Kaitlyn_E, Aug 2026
They advertise there is a/c, but there is not. The tour guide talked about his upbringing and relationships with family members the whole way as a way to talk about life in Alaska rather than provide details about Anchorage/Alaska. I would never recommend this tour.
Rebecca_R, Aug 2026
John ran our trolley tour. He was excellent, very cheerful and informative.! Even though we didn’t see a bear or a moose, it was a great start. I’d recommend it your first day.
SUSAN_G, Aug 2026
Our driver Prince made the tour very enjoyable and informative.
He could be on American Idol, the voice of an Angel.
The tour 1.5 hours was just long enough to get a sense of Anchorage.
Kathy_O, Aug 2026
While historical, the information about the high school wasn't as pertinent to learning about Anchorage. We had trouble hearing in the back. Enjoyed the stops to get out and explore or have a photo shoot.
Ann_M, Aug 2026
Full of history and local color stories. Donna was engaging from the beginning and a wealth of knowledge Absolutely worth it!
James_H, Aug 2026
Excellent tour. Lots of great information. Nice to get off the trolley for walk arounds. The day we went was 68F and sunny. Inside the trolley was hot many people left windows closed. Dress in layers in case you need to cool off. Seats were fairly hard, bring a cushion if you have sensitivity. Lots of good food and shopping near pickup. Also crowded and unsavory people there, be careful.
Malathi_C, Aug 2026
We did this on our first morning there. It gave us a quick lay of the land so we could explore more later on during our trip. The driver/guide was funny and informative. He made the tour fun and pleasant.
patu999, Aug 2026
So much fun and extremely informative! Donna’s personal knowledge and experiences gave us a tremendous insight into Alaska’s everyday life. She is a born storyteller and I could have listened to her all day!
Kim_R, Aug 2026
Our travel guide Ty was amazing and very knowledgeable! Great tour!! We learned so much history & facts
Amanda_P, Aug 2026
Was fun and the attendant was very knowledgeable about the city. He cracked jokes and kept us all entertained!
Sharon_R, Aug 2026
If you've never been to Alaska, this tour was very informative and fun. Our guide, Donna, had so much personal knowledge of Anchorage and Alaskan wildlife in general, it was amazing. She injected subtle humor in everything. We were a party of 6 and thoroughly enjoyed this tour. All the reviews I read about Donna were true. She is an incredible source of knowledge, history and personality. Very engaging with the crowd.
