- Weight limit is 300 pounds per seat. R44 max weight is 650 pounds. R66 max weight is 900 pounds.
- Service animals are allowed on a case by case basis. Call to inquire.
- Accuratly reporting weight is essential for proper weight and balance of the helicopter. Large discrepancies in reported weights may result in additional fees.
- Solo Travelers: Please note that we may reach out to reschedule your time if a 2 person minimum is not met.
- WEIGHT SURCHARGES: Groups of 2 over 500lbs, groups of 3 over 650lbs and groups of 4 over 900lbs will be charged a weight surcharge. You can call 907-351-6736 to pay the additional weight surcharge within 48 hours of making the reservation. If weight surcharge not paid, we cannot guarantee extra aircraft will be available and flight may be rescheduled or canceled without a refund.
- Groups of 4+ may be split into multiple helicopters
- Infants are defined as 0-24 months. Children at or over 24 months will need to be in a paid seat. This is a FAA regulation and not a suggestion
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers

What an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience!
My husband and I did the Outbound Heli tour with Cedric, and we were thrilled to find out it would be just the two of us. It made the entire experience feel so personal.
Cedric was an amazing pilot and guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, especially helping me navigate the ice. He found a spectacular spot to land where we were able to explore a beautiful glacier pool. He even obliged my request to keep an eye out for bears and moose along the way!
This was truly one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. If you’re considering it, BOOK IT! You won’t be disappointed!
If this is not on your bucket list it should be!!! A once in a lifetime experience!! We give it a 10 out of 10!! Can’t wait to do this again!!
Wonderful. We are mid seventies and were concerned that we would have trouble walking on the glacier. Thanks to our pilot everything was great. She was so helpful. I recommend Laura as a great pilot and informative tour guide.
Must do for everyone who likes a flight. Helicopter and glacier, both are awesome. Can see a moose on the way as well.
Everyone was SUPER helpful! My husband has mobility issues and they helped him get in the helicopter and get comfortable. He didn’t want to get out on the glacier so our pilot Cedric landed and took the door off so he could get a better view. Absolutely fabulous experience!!!
The Knik Glacier helicopter experience included a knowledgeable, professional, and fun pilot. Cedric gave us exactly what we wanted by finding moose & bears, and answering our many questions about the geology of glaciers. We highly recommend it!
Absolutely incredible. The guide was so fun and kept us safe and the glacier was incredible! We did doors off which was even more epic. I’d highly recommend.
It was a wonderful helicopter ride. Pilot was very nice and informative! They also provide ATV rides there with 10% discount!
If you want to be treated like family vs just another tourist, this is the tour for you. Staff was friendly and the pilot/tour guide Wes did an amazing job, giving my husband and I a personal excursion. He asked what we wanted to do and see and then delivered. It was by far the most incredible thing we have done. Pictures just don't do it justice, thank you.

Only one flaw…no one mentions whether they Viator or the tour company, no uber or Lyft comes to pick up after tour. It’s easy to get there but we were stranded for 2 hour before we were able to get back to anchorage
This was unreal. It’s almost impossible to even comprehend what was happening in the moment. If you’re hesitant, just send it and book the experience. A huge thank you to our crew Christine and Blake.

After checkin with Caroline, we were directed to the red helicopter piloted by Captain Laura. As soon as you take off the wonder does not stop. Our pilot kindly pointed out wildlife, interesting points to see and also offered to take pictures for us. She was amazingly kind and considerate.
As a plus size person, the team reassured me at every step. You are weighed privately to help the balance of the craft, they have appropriate seatbelts in the back and helped put on the clamp-ons. As I was nervous about my size, they reassured me at every opportunity. I would highly encourage others who worry, to use this company.
Super fun time - it was amazing to fly over the glacier - and then land and walk around. Very fun flight, we learned more about Alaska - and felt we had an experience we will remember for a lifetime!

Great experience. Breathtaking views and friendly crew. The helicopter ride was a thrill, but the glacier walk and melt pools were beyong the pictures can tell.
Outstanding, the best helicopter tour I have ever taken. They are friendly, informative, and make sure you are safe and enjoying the experience. I was staying downtown but used Uber to/from the starting point and it worked out well (just make sure to pre-schedule the return ride).
It was an awesome once in a lifetime adventure!! The weather was beautiful. Take an empty water bottle to taste the fresh glacier water.

We had a great time on our Helicopter tour and our pilot Logan was supper knowledgeable. Landing on the glacier is amazing. Walking around in the ice feels so surreal.
