It was a great way to get to the cruise from Ankorage. The conversation was great and we had plenty of time there. We stopped alongside a glacier on the way and had priority in the line through the tunnel. Sam, our guide, was excellent!

Our driver Jeff was very professional, accommodating, and informative. The drive was beautiful and Jeff’s information made the trip so much more enjoyable. Jeff was friendly and we couldn’t be happier with our booking.

This was worthwhile choice for how to get from Anchorage to the cruise port. The young driver was enthusiastic, friendly, informative, and a safe driver. It was disappointing to witness the impolite unaffiliated cruise port workers verbally giving your bus driver heck for no apparent reason during our unloading at the port on Tuesday 8/4/26. Kudos to your driver, who remained professional and courteous, even while receiving the unnecessary verbal abuse from the port workers.

    GREAT Experience

Great way to get to cruise ship port. Talon Hawk was our driver and did a wonderful job pointing out all the things to see. The wildlife preserve was a good stop on the way!

It was a very hectic morning at the hotel meeting spot. Multiple buses and hundreds of people were waiting for transportation. The guide that oversaw us all getting on the correct bus was friendly and helpful and reassured us they would not leave without us. Joe, our driver was great. Took all of the riders luggage ( which was a lot) and packed it under bus. We climbed aboard the bus and Joe gave us an educational, funny and warm guide about the area and its people. At the animal sanctuary we saw a lot of species of Alaskas wildlife that the sanctuary rescue and protect. You will definitely see moose and bear here if you don’t see them out in the wild. Upon arriving at Whittier, Joe helped us off, got our bags and directed us to the ship entry. Joe was a very safe driver and overall the experience was really enjoyable. I would highly recommend this travel transfer to Whittier.

More than just a way to get to the cruise ship. Part of the adventure. Clean bus. Caitlin was our driver. She was a good, safe driver. She communicated with us the whole way. Giving us fun facts along the way. The wildlife conservation center was a nice, safe way to see wild animals up close. We even saw several mothers with babies. We arrived at the cruise port on schedule. Highly recommend.

    Nice transfer!

Nice way to get to the ship in Whittier. This wildlife park was a nice bonus along the way. Saw bears up close

    Will is the best guide!

    Lisa_B, Jul 2026
Our guide and driver, Will, is amazing. He shared his knowledge about the engineering of the roads and building of the tunnel, and about the 1964 earthquake, as well as animal conservation, and the Alaskan way of life-all fascinating. Perfect ride from Anchorage to the ship in Whittier!

Fun Way to Shuttle to the Port

    Linda_N, Jul 2026
This tour was very well organized and efficient with time. In our case, there were plenty of people boarding the shuttle bus at hotel, Captain Cooke, so our shuttle did not go to the airport, they used a different shuttle for that. That gave us extra time to have at the wildlife conservatory, very much appreciated because it was bigger than we expected. We saw amazing animals there, including bears, moose, musk ox, and small animals too. Great experience!

    Outstanding Guide with Incredible Knowledge

    Brian_C, Jul 2026
Will was an outstanding guide! He drove us to Whittier while taking us on the Alaska Wildlife Adventure tour, and he made the entire experience memorable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Alaska’s wildlife, history, and scenery, and he shared interesting facts throughout the trip that made the drive fly by. On top of that, Will was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and had a great sense of humor. He made everyone feel comfortable and was happy to answer questions along the way. You could tell he truly enjoys what he does and takes pride in giving guests a great experience. If you’re lucky enough to have Will as your guide, you’re in for an amazing tour. He was a big part of what made our trip to Whittier and the start of our Alaska cruise so special. Highly recommend!

    ANGELA_B, Jul 2026
The driver arrived early and they handled the baggage and passengers with no fuss. The only small bump was that there was confusion about checking in, so we waited for a while because a couple groups were on the bus but had not been logged by the tour operator. The wildlife center was pretty cool! I wish they had a little more information on each animal, especially the ones that had nothing at all specific to the residents, though I get that would maybe take effort away from animal care. I really wish we'd had more than an hour there, though. We got to the tunnel with perfect timing and they drove us right up to the check-in tent so even though it was raining, the experience wasn't bad at all and we stayed pretty comfortable throughout.

This was a perfect way to get from Anchorage to the Whittier cruise port while combining a stop at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. JC was a great tour guide, narrating while also driving safely. Funny, entertaining and educational. We especially enjoyed the narration through the iconic Whittier tunnel.

Great Experience Even in the rain

Our driver’s native Alaskan so we learned more about the area and their lives. Our driver’s really thoughtful - he drove us around first in the rain so we at least got to see everything.
