What are people saying about Rome

Good Vatican tour
This is my third tour of the Vatican in 15 years. This tour was very similar to the others. The one difference was visiting the “sphere within a sphere “ up close. The meeting point was well described and the check-in experience was smooth. Because of the large number of tours checking in, it is a good idea to get there 20 to 30 minutes ahead of time. Our “skip the line “tickets got us in in about 15 minutes instead of much longer for the non-tour folks. Our tour guide, Stephanie, had lots of good information to share. Of course, the tour guide is a native of Italy. Therefore, sometimes the accent gets in the way of the English, but 99% was understandable. After the tour is over, be sure to stay at Saint Peter’s so that you can visit the underground crypt. We would’ve liked to also buy the extra ticket for the climb up to the top of the dome, but the wait was 30 to 40 minutes, according to our tour guide. Since we had already been standing for 2 1/2 hours walking, we decided to skip it.

Dining in Rome!!
Bryan, our guide, was so knowledgeable and fun! This tour took us on a walk we could have never found on our own, and Bryan gave many suggestions for other places we could try during our stay in Rome. Bryan shared so much insight to the local food, Roman, and the true way to make pasta Al dente. I’ll never overcook my pasta again! Sure with we could have had another dinner with Bryan to soak up more of his stories and insight. An excellent experience that I will do again!

How to see Rome in a Day!
This is a great way to see Rome in a day! I especially enjoyed the experience at night while everything was lit up. You see but not stop at all the highlights (10 places) we did stop at Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Coliseum. Merrill was not only informative about each place but passionate about her city. Add the included stop for gelato; it was wonderful.

Fun ride on beautiful cart!
Our guide, Arianna was wonderful and we had such a beautiful car that others were taking pictures and videos of us! My only complaint would be that visitors should be aware that a golf cart through cobblestone roads is a very bumpy ride so if you have motion sickness, this wouldn't' be a good excursion. Its a great excursion to do when you arrive somewhere so you get a great overview and then you can go to individual sites as you wish for a longer time.

Rome is a microcosm of all Italy offers: spectacular art and architecture, unforgettable food, and charming neighborhoods and squares. Like the country as a whole, Italy’s capital city can be overwhelming to take on. Conquer the Eternal City one blockbuster at a time with Rome tours that cover the highlights stress-free. Skip-the-line experiences let you quickly check off A-list sights like the Colosseum and Vatican; culinary strolls lead you to the top food and wine; and guided excursions through the historic center let you toss the map focus on sights like the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon.
