Our guide Eugene clearly knew his way around the Vatican and had a vast knowledge about the Popes and buildings and architecture. Pace of the tour was good, measured not rushed. By the end of the tour we had a much better understanding of the place. The vast quantity of statuary and art was amazing and overwhelming.

Worth the Money

Viator provided excellent communication before our tour. Our tour guide, Katarina, was so knowledgeable. We did a small group tour because that's what was available but with the use of headsets you could also do a regular size tour and get as much out of it. A guided tour definitely helped us get more from our visit to the Vatican Museums, Sistene Chapel and St.Peter's Basilica.

Informative Historical Tour

This walking tour takes you through the well-known parts of the Colosseum with a knowledgeable guide. If you're interested in Roman history, this is a great tour. Two comments about the Colosseum, not this tour: 1. There's not a lot of shade. Think sunscreen. 2. It's not very wheelchair friendly.

Dream Tourism via Viator...

Dream Tourism via Viator is a good option. I couldn’t get tickets through the original website, so I used the TripAdvisor/Viator website. Dream Tourism communicated well through the Viator app. I received a PDF of my tickets a few days before. I was also instructed to download the official Colosseum app, MyColosseum. Some reviewers have mentioned audio glitches, but the accompanying text is read by audio. Watching YouTube history videos beforehand is better. To be overly prepared, meet the Dream Tourism before the tour. The guide stands near the Arch of Constantine’s benches. They ensure we have tickets, the app, and direct us to lines for the Colosseum and Palantine Hill. Tickets were unavailable through the official Colosseum website, so this was a good option. Alternatively, you could stand in long lines on the day of purchase.

Great colosseum tour!

Fantastic guided tour of the colosseum with crown tours (one of the options through Viator). Our guide Bianca was spectacular. She was knowledgeable, kind, a pleasant local gem! We went through tons of long lines (security, QR code checks) very fast and the overwhelming crowd of the colosseum felt much more “distant”, while we were pleasantly listening Bianca’ stories throughout the entire walking tour. Definitely recommend. I went with my teenage daughter

A good tour

We had a fabulous tour guide Martina who was very easy going and knowledgeable. It was a great company to book through and we do recommend this to others. The tour itself we enjoyed but weren't overally blown away by it, even the sistine chapel surprisingly. Huge crowds also made the experience a little unpleasant unfortunately.

Great experience

Fred our tour guide was great, knowledgeable (an archeogist by trade) great humour and very informative. The tour was organized, easy to navigate, their offices are right next to the museum entrance. Pricing was very fair compared to others. We did the full tour including st Peter's Basilica, that was the highlight for us. Thanks Fred from us in Vancouver Canada
