We were with Donato, and he was an excellent guide. Our kids 5 and 7 were tired, but he managed to keep them entertained with his great story telling and scavenger hunt. Grown up also learned a lot. Great tour over all, we were very happy!

Our tour guide Tomaso is a local archeologist and a fount of knowledge. His tour was very insightful, well organized, and engaging for our 11 year old son who is not typically into art or museums. Very easy access into the museums and a great overview of this giant collection. Definitely recommend!

We had Cristiana as our guide at the Vatican. Our tour was clearly focused on providing a good experience for Kids, and Cristiana did a great job engaging our kids with photos, stories and games. She also created the pace around their attention span and patience, which was much appreciated. Her picture card scavenger hunt helped the kids locate art and images within the museum. Great option if you’re going with kids, who don’t “love” walking around museums.

Our guide Bruno met us promptly and we immediately were immersed in the history behind the Vatican walls. Bruno was engaging, enthusiastic, very knowledgeable, and provided both children and adults with an enjoyable experience (even in 100 degree rather with no ac). Bruno highlighted essential parts of the tour that one must not miss when at the Vatican, but also helped cater the tour to our children’s likes, inquiries, and interests. They loved playing a game to see which team would earn the most points! Both kids and adults agree this has been the best part of our Roman vacation thanks to Bruno! We would recommend without hesitation and would love to have another tour in the future! My children both said they can’t wait to return to Rome and visit the Vatican museums again with Bruno as their tour guide!

Valeria was beyond incredible! This tour was 100% worth it to us!!!! She shared with us so much history, information about art, the thought processes of the times, information about Greek mythology, Egyptian history, Italian history, Catholic history, and everything in between! Music, art, history, geography, astronomy, Pagen stories, Christian and Catholic stories - oh my my goodness! I am not doing her justice - she knew everything there was to know! She was so AMAZING to our son - though he was sleepy, and he certainly was - he had SO MUCH ENERGY after the tour!!!! We went everywhere, flawlessly!
Valeria went through EVERYTHING with us, I mean EVERYTHING - she knows her stuff! She was 100% on for us - and she was truly incredible! We are a family of 3, and she was flexible to make sure we were cool - hot day in Rome when we toured - she made sure we had plenty of water, restroom breaks, all the things we needed as a family.

Oh so valuable. Our guide was prompt, clear in communication, and took us all over the Vatican, explaining things we never would’ve known. It was very hot and she brought us fans for the kids. Took breaks as needed. Just wonderful!

We were very tired at the end of almost two weeks and just wanted to rest on our last day. We are SO glad we decided to go ahead with this tour. It was the BEST way to end our time in Italy! Our guide was enthusiastic and exceptionally knowledgeable. I enjoyed the tour much more than I thought I would given greater understanding and context. What a remarkable afternoon!

My wife and I visited the vatican with our 2 daughters (7 and 10 yrs old). I was concerned they would be pretty bored and then saw this type of tour and booked it. We couldn’t have been happier with it. The operator changed the guide the night before telling us we would now have ‘Marco’ instead of allesandra as advertised, however, Marco turned out to be a superstar. Marco was full of energy from the first minute and did not stop for 2.5 hrs. He focused on the girls, he had stories, jokes and facts that kept the girls entertained throughout the tour. I would have bet this would work for 20-30 mins but never 2.5 hrs. I’ve visited twice before but felt I learned far more this time :) Marco was funny and genuine. We had a very knowledgeable guide who also has that knack of keeping kids attention, very rare !

This was such a great personalized experience for myself and family. With two younger children, they were involved by our guide. We heard a lot of great tidbits that we would not have known otherwise. I loved having such a small group to tour with-just the 5 of us. Our family enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it. The extra expense to skip the line is well worth it as the line was literally a mile long. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job engaging our 7 year old.

Donato did an amazing job keeping our 4 young kids (9, 7, 5, and 3) engaged throughout the tour - a monumental triumph! Seriously, this is a perfect Vatican tour for any family- hit all the key areas in the Vatican, end at St Peters Basilica, and you get a tour guide who specifically works to keep the kids interested and engaged (while also providing quality insight for adults). Highly recommend!

I was worried my kids would be totally overwhelmed depth the intense Vatican City visit - the crowds and the walking and the heat etc.
Rosella made the two and half hour visit fantastic for the kids and adults - with wonderful kid friendly stories, that brought the history to life.
She showed us carefully selected sections, so we were able to see the highlights before the kids got too tired
The only way to do Vatican City with kids - is this!

This was such a lovely experience! Our guide was wonderful - and wonderful with our four year old son. She kept him entertained throughout the experience, and even brought drawing materials so he could color in the Sistine Chapel (on paper of course!) while my husband and I looked around. Of course the older the child the more they will take in, but I was very impressed by our guide's ability to engage even our very young child. Brava!
