Seamless process from start to finish. No issues with transportation to and from the site. Our Pompeii guide Francesca( sorry if I spelled that wrong) was wonderful and made whole experience extremely enjoyable. My only suggestion is to include a Cruise port pick up and drop off option.

The pickup was a bit chaotic as our guide was not at the specified meeting point at the agreed time. There were other representatives from Worldtours who enquired which guide group we were allocated to and she advised Italo would arrive shortly. Upon arrival we found him to be a very friendly guy. Tomas, our archaeological guide was excellent. He brought Pompei to life with his vast knowledge and humour. Be warned, there is a lot of walking on uneven ground so comfortable footwear is advised. It was very hot and not much shade so bring plenty of water. On the return coach journey, I asked Italo if water was available (the info provided said it was available on request) but there wasn’t any. We were relieved to be in an air conditioned coach. Overall a great day!

We had no idea we would...

We had no idea we would be getting a private tour for our family of 6 today. When we saw Gino with our name on a sign and realized we had the day together in a beautiful, air-conditioned van and Gino as our personal driver, we were shocked and excited! He made today so special. He is kind and patient and told wonderful stories and shared so much interesting information about each town and area we drove through. He stopped many times for photos and the best shot. Visiting Sorrento, Positano and Almalfi was very beautiful, very crowded and very hot! But it was a wonderful day and experience!

My guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable and funny. If you are going to Pompeii, I highly recommend this tour, because going on your own would be very confusing. I learned a lot about daily life of the civilization that I would have missed without a guide.

Great excursion to see the Amalfi coast

We loved our tour with Francesco! He arranged some stops along the way to get great views & lemon ice. He organized the tour based on the crowds & traffic, which were light so we got extra time in Amalfi & Ravello. Positano has strict rule for tours, they only allow 1 hour. The 18 passenger van had AC and was a wonderful way to see the Amalfi coast! The optional boat ride in Amalfi was definitely a highlight of our trip! Tour was guaranteed to get us back to our ship so we relaxed and enjoyed our day!

Blue Grotto experience.

Seeing the Blue Grotto was exceptional. Tiziana was a wonderful guide and very accommodating with our entire group making sure everyone had plenty of time to shop or eat or go to the beach. She was super informative and shared a lot of history with our group. 10 out of 10 for a day excursion! Do it. You won’t regret it!

We had a wonderful experience with this tour. It was well-paced, on-time and organized. Our driver (Giovanni) was excellent. Our main tour guide (Maria) was knowledgeable and friendly, and our guide at Pompeii (Maria Grazia) had so much information to share and was personable and funny. And, of course, the site of Pompeii was so interesting to see in person and the views from Mount Vesuvius were mind blowing (bring a hat, sunscreen and water if you are going in the summer months).

Perfect day!

This trip was so fun and relaxing. Giovanni and Angelo were our boat guides for this entire trip. Very respectful, knowledgeable, enjoyable, and also humorous too! We had the best time riding the coast on the boat and visiting the Almafi coast...postiano and stopped by to swim for a bit..ended the day with a lemoncello toast. An Unforgettable Day

Teresa was a terrific guide, and we were incredibly lucky that we didn't have to wait at all to enter the Blue Grotto. Teresa made sure that our group moved quickly getting off the ferry, and that allowed us to get onto the first bus and get out to the Blue Grotto before any crowds arrived. Less than 5 minutes after getting off the bus, we were on a boat entering the Blue Grotto. It was a truly wonderful experience. Because we were all able to see the Blue Grotto so quickly, we also were able to ride the Mount Solaro chairlift (again with some helpful know-how from Teresa to assist us getting through the line quickly), eat a nice lunch, do a little bit of shopping and wandering, and still have time to take a boat ride around the island to see the different coves and grottos and Faraglioni rocks. It was an unforgettable day and many many thanks to Teresa for making it happen!

Highly Recommend!

10/10 Experience! Our guide Chiro was waiting right when we got off the cruise ship with a sign. Once the group was all there, he made a call and our van was there. It was nice being in a smaller group. Van was air conditioned with charging ports. The drive to Positano was an experience, in a good way! We enjoyed Chiro’s facts and stories along the drive. Same for Sorrento! The meeting points were convenient. The Pompeii tour was something my husband and I will remember forever! Incredible! Highly recommend this if you’re only in the Naples area for a day and want to see a lot!

Pompeii!

The tour guide and driver arrived punctually at the port to pick us up. They were professional and respectful with a hint of humor. Polly is very friendly and quite informative. Despite a last minute change of ports they truly made this tour spectacular. We were even serenaded by both of them on our ride. We recommend the tour to anyone who is visiting and especially with Polly and Alfredo!! Thank You for making it so very special. It does require arduous walking and there is little accommodation for the handicapped.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Micheline and Salvatore as our driver. We saw and learned so much. Great recommendations for food, shopping and best photo ops. Rather than just tell us about it, Micheline escorted and pointed them out to us (only if you wanted to join of course) at each stop. Otherwise, you are free to shop and explore on your own.
