Worthwhile Trip

This is really a worthwhile trip. Amazing buildings especially the tower. All very enjoyable. Be aware that coaches are not permitted at the visitor attractions. You have to walk from where the coach can park. You need to think of this if you have a mobility problem. As always be aware of the hustlers with cheap jewellery. Go to the approved stalls that are there for your souvenirs.

Awesome Experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour of the Accademia. Our guide Antonio was so knowledgeable about this magnificent historical site. He led us through the instrument room first to show us violins from the 1600s. He then explained a few of the spectacular paintings on the walls. All leading up to Michaelangelo's David. We were awestruck when we walked up to the room where this massive work of art was. Antonio went into so much detail about David; we felt like we had so much insight in just a short time. This was an enjoyable activity due to Antonio's way of describing these amazing sites. We highly recommend this tour.

Yummy experience

This was my first time in Italy and I knew I needed to fit a cooking class in my itinerary! This was such an amazing experience!! Such a beginner friendly class/ easy to follow. Our chef Arthur was an amazing teacher and cook! We appreciated his patience and humor. We made a total of 3 different pastas and our chef made the sauce in front of us. He the cooked the pastas and mixed it in 3 different sauces. Each was so yummy! I would totally recommend this if you have a free evening in your time in Florence .

Leo greeted us with the best energy and sustained it for the entire tour. He was informative, thoughtful, and hilarious. I booked this tour 10 years ago and insisted on taking my cousin—this one may have even been better. Each stop was unique and differed from the others: one rustic, one regal, and another more casual—all organic and sustainable. We even had some time to stroll in the quaint town of Greve in Chianti. Presentations at the vineyards were engaging and paired with satiating treats. I learned about wine and enjoyed the opportunity to experience the Italian countryside.

Informative and entertaining experience even on a busy day

We visited on a Tuesday, which is apparently the busiest day for Florence museums. So despite having a skip-the-line ticket we had to wait in quite a long line to get in with the other tour groups (not the tour company's fault, to be clear). Despite *that*, our guide Francesca did an awesome job keeping us all entertained while waiting, and gave us quite a thorough lesson on the history of the Medici family, really setting the stage for the museum we were about to see. Inside the museum she also did a good job shepherding us through the crowds and getting good views of some of the major works (this review is for the Express tour), along with a wealth of local and historical knowledge to bring the art to life.

Booked through Viator. Cheaper through the gallery website but no tickets available for our date (Resellers like Viator obviously buy up lots of tickets and make a margin) Booking process straightforward but that only gives you a voucher. This voucher needs to be exchanged for actual tickets with a representative of the reseller at a location close to the entrance of the gallery. This process actually worked smoothly. The rep was at the location when we arrived 10 mins before our entry time. Tickets were provided which included the "skip the line option" The rep told us to see the security guards who on presentation of the tickets directed us to a different entrance to the main line up of visitors. It all sounded a bit risky when I made the booking but everything worked well so I would recommend this approach if you cannot get the cheaper tickets on the gallery website

Firstly what a well arranged tour in terms of ease of travel....highlight of our trip was our guide camilla....without her it would just be lifeless.... she is very knowledgeable and is very witty . . She made our whole experience a memorable one.... she is well read , informative and does not shy away from answering any questions... it was very easy to spot her and she stayed with us right till the end showing us the way to the dome.... though the dome was a solo trip, her insights helped us relate to the wonderful display of art....cheers to camilla and strongly recommend you ask for her for an amzing experience ❤️

This wine tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The entire experience was well organized from start to finish, and the scenery in the Tuscan countryside was beautiful. We got to visit multiple wineries, learn about the wine-making process, and taste a great variety of wines. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience fun without feeling rushed. Perfect mix of education, relaxation, and great wine. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Florence.
