This was a wonderful tour! They were organized at the meeting point. The tour was just the right length with kids and the heat. We saw some of the highlights and were able to appreciate the history and awe of everything. Our guide, Ilaria, was amazing. Absolutely Amazing Tour of Pompeii

We could not have imagined a more engaging and amazing tour guide than Daniela!!! She was so wonderful and shared so much fascinating history and unique details that our trip to Pompeii was the highlight of our entire trip to Italy! Daniela knew all the perfect (and shady!) spots to stop away from the large crowds where she could tell us all the stories and we often felt like we had Pompeii all to ourselves. Our family with two kids all felt so lucky to be with her and we were so sad to part when our tour was over as we honestly would have loved another 3hrs with Daniela! We booked the 3hr private tour and although I had considered doing the 2hr tour when booking, I am so very happy that we went with 3hrs. I can’t imagine having less time with Daniela and our time just flew by. I couldn’t recommend this tour more highly, and it is by far the best tour we have ever done anywhere! Stress free family visit (with air-con)

We had a brilliant time visiting Pompeii and Herculaneum from Sorrento as a family, and our tour guide, Liana (Lily), was absolutely fantastic! We’d originally been put off taking the train after seeing how sweltering (no air-con on the train) and completely packed the carriages were, so booking this small group tour in a minibus with air-con was a total game-changer. The entire day ran like clockwork. Pickup was spot on time, moving between the sites was effortless, and stopping at a local shopping centre for lunch provided a lovely, stress-free break for the family to refuel. Having Herculaneum included on the itinerary was a massive bonus—in my opinion, it’s an absolute must-see that is every bit as impressive as Pompeii in its own right, but with far fewer tourists (ironic as I realise that makes me one of them!). Lily was exceptionally knowledgeable, bringing the history of both sites to life and ensuring we saw all the key highlights without ever feeling rushed. The relaxed pace meant we could properly take everything in at our leisure. I couldn't recommend this small group tour highly enough for families visiting the area—a massive thank you to Lily for a brilliant day out!

Raffeale was an excellent tour guide, really enjoyed our trip as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children). Would highly recommend. The tour gave us the location and instructions before it started which were accurate, we had a really good time listening to the history of Pompaii, our tour guide was able and encouraged questions which we found really positive. Amazing!!

The experience was overall 10/10! We ended up getting travel from Naples just so we didn’t have to think about trains or taxis. Our driver was fantastic and super friendly. The tour guide was great and provided a ton of information while keeping us in the shade as much as possible and keeping us on a schedule. We then rode to the vineyard and had an amazing lunch and wine tasting with the best service. We then got returned to our meeting point without any worries or stress. I highly recommend this tour and would absolutely do it again!

Great tour despite the heat!

We managed to visit on one of the hottest days of the year, but still had a great tour with Jolanta! In order to see everything (Pompeii is much bigger than I realized), the pace was pretty quick, but she did a great job showing us a huge variety of things. She also gave us some tips for areas to visit after the tour was over and they were great! Definitely glad we had her guidance before continuing at our own pace.

It was a very hot day...

It was a very hot day when we visited these historical sites. Make sure to bring water and hats and fans when you visit during the summer months. Our tour guide’s name was Vincenzo. He was great! He was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He made the ruins and their history relevant. He was also very considerate of the heat and always looking for shaded areas to give us the information about the ruins. He was a great guide and is why we had such a good experience there.

Giovanni thought of everything to make this private boat tour one of the most memorable travel experiences of our lives! From prosecco to beach towels and limoncello to amazing caves....the day is the perfect mix of relaxation and frantic picture taking.
