That fee paid is only a reservation fee. The guide gets nothing unless you tip him. Lovely guide. Very informative. Good tour, he didn't rush us, went over time but he was fine.

Our walking tour of Rome was an absolute highlight, largely thanks to our guide, Gurban Musali. It was clear from the start that Gurban is wildly knowledgeable; his extensive academic studies really shine through in the way he explains the history and architecture of the city. Beyond his expertise, he was incredibly friendly and kind, making the entire group feel welcome and engaged. This walking tour is exactly what I was hoping for with my one day in Rome. Our tour guide was on time, and excited to be there. She took us to all the big sites, and gave us enough time for pictures. I booked a colosseum tour in the morning and this walking tour in the afternoon. It was the perfect combination with my very limited time in the historic city.

This was a nice introduction to Rome on our first night. The tour guide showed us several key attractions, was knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us time to get plenty of photos and selfies at Trevi, which we appreciated.

We met our tour guide Camilla at the fountain of Triton. Her communication and organisational skills were top notch. Camilla helpfully texted us beforehand to make sure we knew where to meet her. The tour itself was not too strenuous, taking in amongst other things, the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon/Temple of Hadrian and the Piazza Navonna with Berninni's stunning fountain sculptures. The Trevi was extremely busy, but we all got a chance to take photos and throw coins into the fountain. Camilla had also warned us about pickpockets. Camilla had lots of historical and cultural facts and she also pointed out cafes that served great coffee and restaurants that served fantastic authentic food. Overall this was a great introduction to Rome.

Pretty much a waste of time. Very little information was provided overall. While walking from one point to another there was nothing said, the tour guide didn’t use any communication device and with the enormous crowds we could barely hear her. She didn’t use any type of flag or visual aid so following in the crowd was very difficult.

Our guide Angela was my favourite (and my daughter’s favourite) of the 5 different tours we have done in Italy. She was informative and funny and had so many good stories to share the history of Rome in such an interesting way. We all learned so much and when I compare it to the first time I visited the Roman Forum and Colosseum without a guide this really made such a difference in the experience - definitely worth it!

I got the french guy as the tour guide. First, he came at 2.58pm and our tour started at 3pm.
He did his job based on the itinerary - nothing else. He didn’t share any useful or exciting information along our itinerary. Meaning, from point a to b, he didn’t point out any information or made any engaging conversation. The group consisted of 8 people so he definitely can have more engaging conversations or share any tips that only Italian knows

It wasn't easy to find our guide in all the busyness of the square with everyone meeting their guides at the same time in the morning.
