We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide, Galya, during our visit to the Accademia Gallery in Florence. She made our visit to see Michelangelo’s David truly special and memorable. Gayla was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating facts and stories about Michelangelo, his life, his artistic vision, and the creation of David. Her explanations brought the sculpture and its history to life and helped us appreciate the masterpiece on a much deeper level. She was engaging, friendly, and passionate about Florence and its incredible art and history. We really enjoyed the tour and learned so much from her. I highly recommend Galya to anyone visiting Florence who wants to experience the Accademia Gallery with an excellent guide!

Our lovely tour guide was Chiara. A Florence native, she guided our small group through the Santo Spirito area where we sampled amazing wines and traditional dishes from businesses owned by families for generations. She discussed the history and character of the area. It was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Amazing Experience!

This was a highlight of our 13 day European vacation. The two wineries we went to were out of a movie. The wines and food were all top tier, we shipped so much home! Our tour guide Jason made the experience even better. He was very knowledgable, fun and made it a great time! Highly recommend!

Delicious family fun in Florence

I cannot say enough good things about this pasta class! From the gorgeous workspace and hilarious instructor, to the endless wine, delicious pasta and conversation with fellow participants from around the world, the whole experience was a 10/10. Our instructor Lorenzo made us all feel like experts by the end of class, offering plenty of encouragement, guidance and humor (yes chef!) along the way. We made fresh tortellini topped with butter and sage, ravioli with a delicious tomato sauce, and pappardelle with a beef ragu. While Lorenzo handled the sauces, he walked us through the process step by step and even had some of us come up for flavor sampling and participation. We made the dough from scratch, and though it started out sticky and messy, everyone in our group was successful (even my teenagers with limited cooking experience). After we prepped all 3 pastas we feasted- leaving absolutely stuffed but loving every bite. This class was the highlight of our time in Florence and a wonderful way to enjoy the culture hands-on after a lot of museums and walk through experiences. 100% recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book the whole class all over again!

We loved this cooking...

We loved this cooking class! We were a family of four with two teens and took the morning class in August. There were about 20 people, but it still felt very personal. Chef Ale and her helper were wonderful, and our group was a fun mix of families, friends, and couples. The time flew by, and we were so impressed by what we made. Everything was absolutely delicious! (Class was held inside the restaurant).

Very informative and relaxed tour of Firenze's highlights

The small tour of 8 people, including 4 in my family was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Federico ("Feve") was very knowledgeable and in the business for over a decade. Being from the area, he guided us through both the historic details of the Academy and the Uffizzi Gallery but also Firenze's hidden gems and personal recommendations for food and gelatos. Pace was relaxed and we hit all the important spots. Highly recommended!
