Amazing Guide & The Perfect Way to See the Accademia!

We had such a wonderful experience on the Florence Accademia Gallery Tour! Having the skip-the-line tickets made getting inside incredibly quick and easy, which was especially appreciated during a busy day in Florence. Our guide was absolutely amazing! They were SO knowledgeable and brought so much energy and personality to the tour. We learned far more than we ever would have walking through the gallery on our own, and they made the history and artwork genuinely fun and interesting. We also really appreciated how attentive our guide was to the entire group. They made sure no one was left behind and that everyone could hear, see, and enjoy each stop along the way. And of course, seeing Michelangelo’s David in person was absolutely breathtaking; photos truly do not do it justice! Learning more about the history and incredible work behind it made seeing it that much more special. If you’re visiting Florence, we absolutely recommend this tour. Great experience!

This was the best $41 I’ve spent in Italy! The class was just over two hours and we didn’t feel rushed to leave. The experience was well-prepared by the company, professional, and fun. We laughed a lot while learning how to make three types of pasta. Got to eat it at the end, along with wine and water. Chef David did a fantastic job and it was sweet to hear about his Nona.

Going above and Beyond

The experience is a must do for Florence, because of the amazing food and even better hospitality. I dropped my ring in-between a crack in the patio and within 30 minutes they unscrewed the floorboard received it. I don't any other group would do the same thing or show the same level of service. Everyone was very funny and really knew how to engage with the audience.

Must See Uffizi

Rachel was such an energetic, extremely knowledgeable and inclusive tour guide. She got to know us and answered sooo many questions about the artists and even history of art and the city. 1000/10 would recommend booking a Viator tour (our second year in Italy and not new to guided tours) but you NEED to have Rachel. She was made for this. She gave us some of our best moments in Florence and maybe sparked a new obsession with Renaissance art.

Michelangelo’s “David” is a MUST SEE!

This pass was perfect to buy if you did not buy your passes before your trip like us! It is super easy to get, we just met the booking person outside of the museum and we got our passes! The building is gorgeous, and David is a must SEE!! I would recommend doing a paired pass w/ the Uffizi gallery, but overall, the art here was beautiful!

Fabulous out of city tour - not to be missed

I am so glad the rules changed to offer this out of city centre tour as it was fabulous. Our driver, Eamonn was so knowledgeable, very helpful and kind. The views were simply out of this world and the visit to the oldest church at the top of the hill was superb. We were able to stop and witness the superb views over Florence and Eamonn explained well about the history of many places in Florence, including the fabulous wine windows. It was a fantastic tour and I am so pleased we were able to experience this out of city tour.

Genevra, our tour guide,...

Genevra, our tour guide, and Mauro, our driver were both fantastic. We were able to try 9 wines total (3 at first winery, 2 with lunch, and 4 at the final) and local cured meats and cheeses, bread and olive oil at the wineries. The people we encountered at the wineries were also lovely, including Fabio at our last stop—truly a gem! Lunch with a view was also delicious. There were 11 people total on the tour, which felt like a good number without being crowded. We would highly recommend!

Very informative and relaxed tour of Firenze's highlights

The small tour of 8 people, including 4 in my family was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Federico ("Feve") was very knowledgeable and in the business for over a decade. Being from the area, he guided us through both the historic details of the Academy and the Uffizzi Gallery but also Firenze's hidden gems and personal recommendations for food and gelatos. Pace was relaxed and we hit all the important spots. Highly recommended!

Bus was air conditioned and comfortable. Our guide Irene was knowledgeable and very social. Staff at the two wineries visited were passionate and professional. The snacks in both locations were very good and complimented the wines well. 4.5 hours was a suitable timeframe for the activities. Would highly recommend!

Great way to explore Tuscany without the hassle of planning on your own!

A fantastic way to see Tuscany from Florence in one jam packed day. The meeting location was an easy walk as we stayed near the train station. The Ciao Florence Tours staff were friendly and helpful as they had lots of tours and tourists to Manage. Our tour left right on time, and our tour guide Alex was friendly and knowledgeable. The coach was very clean and modern. We had a local guide at Siena who was fabulous! She had a great knowledge of the area and was pleasant and delightful. Next stop was a local winery where we tasted 4 wines with a personal charcuterie board, then a pasta dish and dessert. Then off to San Gimignano, it was a beautiful medieval town, and a great gelato shop! Last stop was Pisa to see the famous leaning tower. What a site. As the weather on our trip was close to 100 F, they arranged an option for a petite train to take us to the site (6 Euro round trip) so we didn’t have to walk in the scorching sun, which I really appreciated. It was a great trip that I recommend highly!

So worth it!

Assia was a fantastic tour guide - very personable and her English was perfect! The tour itself was a great mixture of food, wine, and educational information.
