Acropolis with an Angel

Highly recommend. Our tour guide Angelika(Angel) was so knowledgeable and was able to answer all of the questions anyone asked. She was also credentialed as an archaeologist. Recommend the Acropolis AND the museum. You can stay longer in the museum to watch the movie about the Acropolis and have a coffee/Coke in the cafe then tour more if you are into the history and archaeology. It was pretty darn hot though.

Great tour

This is truly an incredible tour that you have to take if you come to Greece. This particular tour group is very organized and informative. Our travel guide was engaging and funny and knowledgeable. A few things to be aware of is that you have to climb many stairs and if it’s in the summer, it could be quite difficult for some. A couple of other things that you need to know is that they do charge in some places for the toilet. Usually it is one euro. The other thing is that women are not allowed to wear pants, short skirts or shorts or show their shoulders. They do give you a wrap at the entrance in order to cover up if you need that. It is also good to carry some euros as currency because there are times when cash is required or credit card machines did not work. Each of the monasteries require five euros each to enter.

Excellent visit with wonderful guided tour by Eva. Learned a lot and was grateful to see the museum and archaeological site. It would have been impossible to do on our own from Athens. Bus service was well organized and convenient with wifi onboard. Stop in Arachova was memorable.

This tour was fantastic. We had a great experience with the changing of the guard. We saw all of the sights on our list in comfort and at our own pace. Sebastian was our guide and he was wonderful. We were traveling with people with mobility issues and he was very kind, patient and accomodating. The lunch was amazing! Highly recommend this tour.

Incredible Tour

Michael G. was an incredible tour guide! He was informative, funny, engaging and genuinely proud to share his knowledge of his country’s history. The tour itself was a good length and provided a solid overall view of the history behind the site and its buildings. There is definitely a fair amount of walking, including the slow climb to the top, and some quite slippery areas, so use caution. I would recommend this tour (and company) to anyone. I visited the Acropolis Museum on my own prior to the tour, but I would HIGHLY recommend a guided tour of that in conjunction with the visit for the Acropolis and Parthenon.

A beautiful way to spend the day!

My husband and I booked the full-day 3-island tour and had a fantastic time aboard the Omega. The crew were fantastic and the boat itself was new and very well appointed, right down to the large, 2-stall restrooms. The lunch blew us away as well! The islands afforded plenty of time for swimming and exploring a bit. We didn’t go ashore on the uninhabited Mori, but rather anchored and jumped off the boat for some fun in the beautiful, crystal-clear water. Highly recommend this tour!

Great tour guide.

Our tour guide Frosso, was incredibly knowledgeable, energetic, enthusiastic, and a joy to learn from. She pace the tour well had a great deal of information that she shared in a very interesting way. She really made the Acropolis, the Parthenon and all the surrounding ruins come to life with her wonderful stories and history. She also didn’t outstanding job of taking us through the Acropolis museum. she was very clear upfront about what the tour would be and also always made sure we were standing in shape when we stopped to talk.

Great experience!

Chose this tour as we didn’t want a full day commitment and it was great. We were picked up about a 5 minute walk from our AirBnB which was very convenient, and we could see the real time location of the bus as we waited. Our guide Iliana was a good storyteller, funny, and knowledgeable. A good mix of stops and sights with just enough time at each location (plenty of time for a swim and ice cream at the beach stop). We took this tour on our last day in Greece and would highly recommend it for a half-day excursion!

What an incredible way to see a few other islands within Athens. From start to finish, the experience was incredible. Alex was one of our boat guys and he was very informative and attentive. The food they prepared was delicious and I highly recommend taking this tour if you’re in Athens. Make sure you grab some pistachios too from the last stop!

Brilliant tour guide who brought the story of the Acropolis to life

A fabulous tour which really brought the stories of the Acropolis to life. It never felt like a boring history lesson. Book the 8am slot to avoid the worst of the crowds. Our guide was Margarita, who is a teacher in term time. She was excellent - warm and friendly, spoke perfect English and was so proud of her city and country.
