We really lucked out, because I think we got Viator’s best Athens tour guide! Terry is friendly, professional, flexible, and he speaks perfect English. His knowledge of Greek, European, and even American history is nothing short of amazing, and he knows the streets of Athens like the back of his hand! I generally don’t care for tours, but Terry treated us to the perfect day. When you make your reservation, I’d strongly recommend that you ask for Terry to be your driver! Tip: Go to the Acropolis as early as possible, like 9am. The crowds are crazy by late morning! If you have mobility issues, bring a doctor’s note so you can use the elevator.

Elton is the Best!

We were picked up by Elton at the airport on time, helped us all with our luggage and my walker and provided water. He then took us to our included lunch as we were hungry from the overnight flight. It was excellent (thank you Chris) and we enjoyed the Greek specialties. Elton proceeded with our tour to Acropolis as that was the highlight for us. All during our tour Elton provided the history of everything we saw. He made it a point to remember and use our names to keep it personal. We had a great time and appreciate all of his efforts. We HIGHLY recommend this tour. Best of luck Elton in med school, we know you will go far! Your Canadian friends! PS You are an excellent driver- we could not do it!!!

We had a fantastic day...

We had a fantastic day with Alexia our guide. She was so informative with her explanations and the use of the IPAD to help us to see how the buildings would have looked was a super idea! This trip was excellent for adults and teenagers. There was lots of time and didn’t feel rushed.

Our tour guide, Frosso, was incredibly helpful and exceptionally knowledgeable about the rich history of the Acropolis and Parthenon. Her deep understanding of the ancient ruins brought the site to life and made the experience both educational and engaging. Great trip

Great day trip. Definitely preorder your brunch, they give the qr code on the bus. The actual lunch provided is around 1300. I did not need dinner after that lunch, but I had packed a power bar. Dinner stop is at 7. Same place as brunch. If you are going to do that then pre order The bus leaves from the train station. I got there 15 min early and the bus was already full, so get there earlier than that.

Worthwhile trip

Our trip was well organised and all information was clear. Velma, our guide was friendly, knowledge and keen to answer questions. The Acropolis had no toilet facilities so having to stop and use these before entering, delayed our start time slightly. We booked the 8am tour to avoid the worst of the crowds but it is was still extremely busy. Velma did a great job of keeping the group together. The pace of the tour was good.

Amazing and beautiful day...

Amazing and beautiful day to tour the islands west of Athens. Day starts around 9 when boarding the beautiful ship Omega. Clean and modern, plenty of space inside and out. First stop is Agistri, small town with an old church with a white and blue roof to see. Great shop right at dock entrance with a beautiful bracelet of Greek bead design not seen elsewhere. I got myself one. Second stop is a swim and lunch, not able to go island - Moni. Water is great for a refreshing swim. Third and final stop is Aegina, wonderful town, busy, plenty to see and do—churches and shopping. Make sure to get the pistachios which they are known for. Afterwards back to Athens by around 6pm, evening open to enjoy. Crew and Captain kept us safe, fed, and hydrated. Excellent tour if in Athens and want to see the islands. Cheers!

Lots of stairs and steps. Worth it!

Wear supportive shoes with good tread! Our guide was fantastic and walking up the steps and trails and rocks was no joke! Very proud once we made it to the top. If it is going to be hot, bring a hat and water as there is not any sol once on property. DO NOT MISS THE MUSEUM! SO much more you see an learn!

Next easy to do Acropolis

I chose the walking experience. I was admittedly nervous looking at the heights but this tour was perfect. Margarita did a great job telling Greek mythology stories, giving unique history facts while Ensign we made the trek at a leisurely pace. She pointed out great details. Anticipated questions and made everyone feel entertained.

It was an excellent tour....

It was an excellent tour. However the walking is a bit tricky for anybody with even slight mobility issues. Our guide. Elizabeth was the best guide we have ever had anywhere!. Her knowledge was incredible and her delivery in terms of language skills ,accent and personality was excellent.
