This is the way to see the Vatican!
Great tour! Guide was knowledgeable and had a great personality. I didn't know ahead of time that there is no talking allowed in the Sistine chapel nor the Basilica. Our guide did a great job telling us what to look using visual guide for Sistine chapel and a printed map/guide for the basilica. The portion of the tour through the museum was pretty quick, so if you are looking for a deeper dive, you might opt to do the museum on its own. For me, it was perfect.

Holy door of St Peters Basilica
A very comprehensive tour that started early in the morning. Highlight of the tour was of course the Sistine Chapel. As it was the 2025 Junilee, the Holy Door of St Peters Basilica was open. Went through this door into the Bascilica to admire the vast interior of the Basilica including the Pieta.

Amazing Art!!
I’m not going to lie this was my first experience with Viatour. I was nervous. This was a good tour without a guide. You still have to wait because of all the people. Be ready to be next to people. It is crowded!! If you don’t like crowds don’t go to the Vatican. But the Sistine chapel was amazing. They don’t let you take pictures inside. Overall good tour.

Great Experience
We had a fantastic experience yesterday visiting the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Our tour guide, Daniele, was incredibly knowledgeable, polite, and overall excellent. We were able to skip the lines, and everything went very smoothly from start to finish. The tour was absolutely worth every penny we paid for the tickets.

  • Seeing Michelangelo's frescoes can be unforgettable even for kids if seen as part of a small-group or kid-friendly Sistine Chapel and Vatican tour.

  • Because the chapel is a Catholic church with a dress code. Wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees and maintain decorum by keeping your voice low.

  • Though photography (without flash) is permitted in the Vatican Museums, no photography is allowed in the Sistine Chapel.
