Tour with Sam.
I like details - bottles of water are offered and allowed but no food or drinks. Limited time for lunch. The bus has outlets for charging phones. Sam was knowledgeable and passionate about the history with humor added in. Our bus driver, Tonya, was great with navigating us safely to each area. It was a great day.

Our guide, Larry, was...
Our guide, Larry, was amazing! And the driver, Tanya, was great as well. We got to see pretty much all the major sites in a fun and efficient way. Parking is NOT easy in DC and it would've been a nightmare had we tried to do this itinerary on our own. There was a major event with the UFC 250 that weekend and there were lots of road closures, but the team made it work! Thank you!

When it's hot... book this evening activity instead!
This was the best way to see DC in the summer! With the unpredictable weather, you can at least count on the evenings to not have the sun blasting down on you. Fortunately for us, it was over 100 degrees during the day when we went so getting around in an air conditioned vehicle and checking out the main spots was the way to go in my book!

Perfect for solo travelers!
Dwayne our tourguide was great! Really knew his history and was a pleasure to ride with. I was a solo traveler and still had a great time seeing all the sites lit up at night. Seeing the top monuments and memorials and buidings with someone giving you lots of history behind each one is SO much better than seeing them by yourself! Would recommend this tour to anyone!

The nation's capital boasts a wealth of monuments, memorials, and museums. That abundance can be overwhelming—but Washington DC tours offer an easier way to see the best of the city. Enjoy a flexible sightseeing experience when you travel by hop-on hop-off bus or trolley, or explore by night to beat the crowds and see landmarks from the Lincoln Memorial to the White House lit up after dark. Then, dig deeper: Whether you visit the US Capitol, explore Smithsonian highlights like the Air and Space Museum, or pay tribute at Arlington National Cemetery, it's worth stopping for a closer look.
