This was an excellent experience the walk there was amazing as well right next to the Arno river. We made two types of pasta. One was a ravioli, and the other was a wide pasta or the Bolognese had several types of wine you could drink as much as you want. Everyone was social and interacting. The only thing I don’t recommend is wearing black as there’s a lot of flour, be careful as well. The floor can get very slippery, but it was a lot of fun. I would consider I don’t miss opportunity.

I made the best meal in Italy!

As an avid hand washer, I was a little nervous about how this would end up while cooking as a group. I was so excited when the cooked pasta that I ate liked exactly like the wonky pasta that I sent to the kitchen to cook! They gathered each groups pasta individually and knew whose was what. Amazing! I’ve tried to make pasta before by myself from a recipe. It did not go well. This time, the pasta was very yummy. Sam was our chef, she was very helpful and funny and made this class a wonderful experience. Everyone who worked within this class were very helpful and nice. They like food and want to make sure that you know how to cook it! As the class progresses, we each got a little personal attention to help prefect our doughs. Plenty of wine and water and juice to go around to give you confidence and keep you hydrated while kneading the dough. Highly recommend this class for sure! We had younger kids and older people and everyone in between. All seemed to enjoy the class and their food at the end. It was worth the time in a city that has so much to do.

Great Afternoon Learning to Make Pasta

Great experience learning to make pasta with Sebastien. He met us nearby his apartment and we went back and learned a lot about making pasta. As a Venetian, he had interesting insights on the city and cooking. He has a beautiful redone kitchen with spectacular views of the canal which made the experience even more special. Brilliant pasta making class

Great day at the pasta making class! We learnt how to make fresh ravioli by hand. Simone was brilliant, really engaging with each member of the group and taught us all his Nonna’s tips and tricks. He demonstrated how to make other types of pasta. The ravioli was combined and cooked by Ricardo, while we worked together as a group to make tiramisu. Unlimited free wine was on offer throughout, which you could help yourself to. The class was relaxed and enjoyable, ending with a beautiful 3 course meal of bruschetta, homemade pasta and tiramisu.

Ilaria and Pietropaolo welcomed us into their lovely home. Chef Andrea taught my husband and I how to make several types of pasta and Tiramisu. Then he proceeded to cover a table with linens and served us a 5 course meal with the items we made and much more. This was the best day ever! We cooked 4x dishes (1x appetiser, 2x pasta, 1x dessert) and these were paired with 3 wines, plus we had a 4th wine while we cooked! Cooking and having lunch overlooking the winery was magical! The castle/fortress tour was also super informative and really enjoyable! Gaia was our hostess for cooking and she was AMAZING! Alice was our tour guide for the castle and she was FANTASTIC too! We had the best time celebrating a birthday here! Can’t wait to come back!!!
