Interesting tour of the Pitti Palace

Our guide Carmen was extremely knowledgeable and patient with our group. The Palatine gallery is overwhelming, and her commentary made it much more meaningful. The gardens were interesting - great views. Afterwards there is opportunity to stay and further visit parts of the grounds and museum. Not ideal if you have mobility issues as there is lots of walking, including uphill and steps. (note that there is an elevator in the palace, but not on the grounds)

Camilla was a fantastic guide! Her passion for the art was infectious! She also shared her appreciation for nature. While very knowedgable, she was "down to earth" and very easy to talk with - what a great teacher! Pitti Palace was my favorite spot in Florence. Skip the line!

The ticket office is a few blocks from the Uffizi. We didn't realize this at first. Therefore, plan your time carefully, so you that you can pick up your tickets at least 1/2 hour to 45 minutes before your entry time (unfortunately, you don't get to "skip the line" to get into the Uffizi). But, this company did truly allow you to "skip the line," and, they were very easy to deal with.
