Great small-group cooking class. Quiet area of town, short walk from the Ponte Vecchio. Eloise and Maia were so kind and helpful! Eloise even gave us a list of her favorite places in Florence after the class was over, and we’ll definitely be following her recommendations. The pasta was top notch as well. Overall, an unforgettable experience - don’t miss out!

Amazing experience! We were with our three kids (ages 5-10), and they had so much fun too. Elenora was a wonderful teacher, making it easy for the kids to oarticilate. She was patient with the kids and full of fun and interesting tips. She treated us like her own family. We learned so much and can’t wait to try to make it all at home. We would absolutely recommend this class. It was the perfect way to spend the morning and we got to eat the wonderfully prepared pasta for lunch. A highlight of the trip for all of us!

Super fun and includes some history too!

The class was so fun, and the meal after was delicious! It was educational, too! The opening video we watched together is a little hokey, but overall its a great experience. We made fettuccine, ravioli, and tortelli. Our teacher Simona was very patient and hands on and invested in making us better pasta-makers!!

Wonderful cooking experience, great for kids

We thoroughly enjoyed our pasta class with Eloise. She was so kind, patient with everyone, very knowledgable, and encouraging. Our group had two kids (11&15) and it was the highlight of our Florence time. We booked our class for mid-day in July and it was a nice cool escape from the heat (air-conditioning was so pleasant), plus a full meal for all of us. Eloise was a wonderful teacher and not only was the food delicious, it was simple and easy to replicate at home. I would highly recommend this class for anyone who wants to experience a cooking class in Florence, but doesn't have time for a full day class, and/or with kids. Bonus was the yummy dessert surprise, juice, wine, and meeting other class attendees.

Camilla was amazing! We made the pasta, she then cooked it for us to eat. She answered every question patiently and showed us every step meticulously.

Our teacher Michelle was the best!

Andrea_K, Jul 2026
Would give 10 stars if I could - Michelle was the best instructor and made the experience extra special! We were a group of 10 – two families with 6 kids total ages 7-13 and she made the experience so wonderful for every one of us!

We had a wonderful experience in the class. The instructors were super engaging and welcoming. They made us feel like 1 big family. I would highly recommend this class to anyone!!

A really special way to spend an afternoon.

Rebecca_S, Jul 2026
A really lovely experience. Elouise was a wonderful guide to all things pasta and along with giving a clear lesson, with lots of individual attention and guidance, she was really knowledgeable about the cultural and historical importance of communal making and sharing of food. We all really enjoyed the afternoon, and the food, and felt able to take the skills and knowledge back to our own kitchen, to share with the rest of the family.

Amazing Pasta

Great way to spend a hot afternoon!

Alisa_Z, Jul 2026
Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) had a great time spending a hot July afternoon making pasta with the Pastamania class. The location was easy to find, very clean and cool inside, and the staff were all very friendly. The class did start 30 minutes before the booking time on Viator (it was listed for 4:30 but actually started at 4) however the staff both emailed and called ahead of time to let us know about the time change, so it wasn’t a problem. We made delicious pasta, and our instructor (Alessandra?) was extremely informative and helpful throughout the process. We appreciated the small group size and our instructor was very patient with the youngest participant who was just 9 years old. This is a fun and engaging activity for any group (especially families with younger kids/teens) and the best part is that you enjoy the pasta you make for dinner!! Yes the “museum” is kinda cheesy but it’s just part of the process to make it more of an experience. This was a highlight of our trip and we can’t wait to make our own pasta once we get home!

Best pasta making class

Ryan_S, Jul 2026
My wife and I took the PastaMania class during our honeymoon in Florence, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The small group setting made such a difference. There were only two other couples, so the experience felt very personal and hands-on. Alessandra was an incredible instructor—she kept everyone engaged, had such a warm and bubbly personality, and explained not just *how* to make the pasta, but *why* each step mattered. She was patient, encouraging, and made the class fun from start to finish. We made ricotta and truffle ravioli, ricotta and nutmeg tortellini, and fresh fettuccine served with an incredible pomodoro sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious, and it was so rewarding to make it all from scratch. The experience also included unlimited wine during the class, followed by a tasting of several different wines afterward, which was a perfect way to wrap up the afternoon. We were also surprised with a delicious chocolate dessert at the end, which was an unexpected treat and the perfect finish to an already amazing experience. As an added bonus, Alessandra recommended a gelato shop that turned out to be the best gelato we had in all of Florence! If you're looking for a fun, authentic, and memorable cooking class, especially as a couple, I couldn't recommend PastaMania more highly. We'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful experience! Hope to come back again.

What a wonderful activity! Michelle was AMAZING and fun and engaging :) She did a great job walking us through the process. At the end you end up with a few pasta options to try! Can’t wait to make some at home.

Our family had a wonderful time learning how to cook pasta. It was some of the best pasta we had in Italy. Can't wait to go back home and try to make it home with the recipes they provided.

Great Food and Great Learning Experience

Michelle_G, Jun 2026
The pasta class was very informative and fun! My partner and I ended up sharing the class with a lovely family and enjoyed cooking with them and chatting with them during dinner. Our teacher was amazing and she was very attentive and knowledgable. The pasta was DELICIOUS and ended up being one of my favorite meals of our trip. Just note that Viator is not the most reliable place to book this. Our class was supposed to be at 4:30 but they did not reach out to tell me day-of that the class would actually be at 4:00. So we were 30 minutes late to class even though we could have easily shifted our schedule if informed ahead of time. I fully believe this was the fault of Viator, not the place that we took the class. So I would say definitely book this class for a fun experience and cool souvenir (knowledge and the recipe book), but maybe book it on a different site, not Viator.

Fun for all!

Maureen_B, Jun 2026
We had a wonderful time at the Pastamania class. My husband and I attended with our two boys (13 and 11), and they were thrilled with the pasta they made — my youngest now calls it his new favorite. It’s a great experience for anyone looking to enjoy a hands‑on pasta‑making session followed by a truly delicious meal.

This was a really wonderful class! I thought the teacher was really good and made things fun and easy to learn. Really appreciated her knowledge and the attention she showed us. She also created a fun and jovial atmosphere that helped everyone get in the mood and there was lots of camaraderie during the cooking, eating and wine tasing. 10/10 with no notes. Would definitely do again!

Simona the Great!

Annemarie_W, Jun 2026
We made pasta with Simona today, and what a fantastic teacher and chef she is. She accommodated 8 of us with a breeze, the youngest being about 7 and the oldest was me at 65. She showed us how delicate yet robust pasta can be. We made fettuccine which was served with a tomato sauce and ravioli filled with ricotta, parmesan and truffel. This was served with a butter and sage sauce.

This Pasta Making Class is Amazing! My 2 adult daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed learning how to make real pasta from a professional chef in a professional kitchen in Italy! A memorable experience! The instructor was so knowledgeable and experienced and he made the class so much fun for everyone! After making the pasta, it was cooked and then we all sat down at a long table and enjoyed what we actually made with a glass of wine! So nice!!! It was lovely to share this experience with people from the Netherlands, Mexico, Brazil and Asia! Another amazing tour/ class with Viator!
