The homes provide all the essential sanitary equipment for the guests (paper towels for washing hands, hand sanitizing gel and so on). Remember to always maintain 1 meter distance from each other and if not, wear masks and gloves

This was truly a one of kind experience. My two friends and my husband and I made pasta in a local family’s home as well as tiramisu and they invited us to stay for dinner with their five children. It was an unbelievable experience to truly sit and talk and drink wine with someone so different, yet also similar to us. Gave us a better window into the Italian culture.

This was an unforgettable experience thanks to Francesca Speroni Cardi! She welcomed us with an open heart into her amazing home and shared her skills with us in a fun and engaging way. I'm not a cook, so for me to enjoy being in the kitchen is a Herculean feat and I enjoyed every second. You not only enjoy the meal and dessert you made, but Francesca had amazing appetizers and wine to share which complemented the experience perfectly. This is a MUST DO experience if you have the time while in Florence! Thank you, Francesca!!

My family of four were hosted by Lucrezia and Christina for a private pasta-making class and the experience was magical. The setting, an old farmhouse nestled into the Tuscan vineyards that provided our wine for the evening, was breathtaking. Lucrezia was warm and welcoming, and both she and Christina were excellent instructors. We gathered our ingredients from the property’s garden and then made two types of bruschetta, a zucchini salad, two types of pasta, and tiramisu for dessert. Lucrezia and Christina kept all of us engaged, laughing and learning the whole way through. Highly recommend this experience!

Francesca is one of a kind!! We did a private class with four and felt like members of her family in her home. She was a thorough and helpful teacher but also very kind and just delightful. A true hostess. If we come back to Florence, we will cook with Francesca again!

So disappointing! Chef did not show

Don’t trust this company! My family showed up and no one was there. I had the phone number to the Chef, Maria and she told me that she had canceled the session. She told me that I should’ve been notified. I checked my emails even junk mail and nothing was sent to me. To make matters worse I called my credit card immediately and they credited the entire amount however, just a few days ago Viator recharged my account! Now I am again notifying my credit card. Viator keeps saying that they informed me of a change in chefs yet I have no email stating this at all, my credit card company tells me that Viator is claiming that they sent me an email on July 10 yet I have no email on July 10 Telling me of any switch or any new Chef. My family traveled from New Jersey to Florence Italy… We flew we traveled by train and then we walked to the designated location as told. I will never be booking with Viator again as they are not committed to customer relationships. They made a mistake and they are denying it. It’s unbelievable that I have to deal with this right now .

Francesca was a tremendous teacher and host! The pasta and tiramisu we made and ate were the best we had in Florence. We highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in immersing themselves in the local culture. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy another meal with her, combined with the truffle hunting experience!

We had an utterly wonderful evening with our fantastic host & cook, Cristina. She picked us up in Florence (by Santa Croce) and drove us to her home in northern Florence. The home was gorgeous and she took the time to teach us how to make two excellent pasta dishes and tiramisu. She was friendly and a wonderful teacher. This was truly a treasured memory for the rest of our lives. I recommend her to anyone who wants to learn how to cook & make a great memory!

I wish I could give this experience 10 stars! Cristina was warm and welcoming. We made all the dishes in her kitchen and it was some of the best Italian food I have ever had!! I had never made pasta before, wouldn’t even have attempted it. She was a wonderful teacher. I cannot recommend this experience enough. Thank you Cristina for a fun day and a lovely dinner!

It’s going to be the highlight of our trip to Italy when we tell everyone back home about cooking with Cristina! What an amazing experience with a truly terrific woman for our family of 5. Her Tuscan country home is breathtaking, the dinner we made together and enjoyed al fresco on her terrace patio overlooking the hills as the sun set was magnificent. If you are in Florence and have the opportunity to request this lovely chef, I guarantee it will exceed even your highest expectations.
