This was one of the best activities for our family of 5 on this trip! The chef was fun and great at leading us through the cooking process. All our pizza's turned out amazing and probably the best gelato we ever had! We would certainly recommend and do this again!

It is billed as 3+ hours and it was only 2. Otherwise it was excellent. The pizza making was fun and delicious and the gelato was great.

Great way for us to end our trip. Our instructor was nice funny and helpful. Our 9 year especially liked that he was able to do his own.

This was a highlight for our trip. We had a blast making our own pizza and visiting with each other and our chef. Good for all ages. Lots of wine and soft drinks. Beautiful restaurant with a/c. Tons of leftovers. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Wonderful experience! So enjoyable from kneading the dough to learning how gelato is made. The unlimited wine was really good as well. Then we got to enjoy our delicious pizza and gelato at the end. Highly recommend

This experience is must do when you visit Italy. My partner and I make pizza at home all the time, but we learned soooo many helpful techniques that will elevate our pizza making that we never would have known otherwise. The class size was also not too many people so we each got private attention from the chef to check our technique and dough. It’s also an awesome way to meet other people as we all ate together after the class. The gelato was also delicious! This was the highlight of our whole trip!

We are a family of 6. Everyone from parents to kids had THE BEST night! It was fun, organized and delicious. The restaurant where it was held was authentic looking and air conditioned. Small group size was great. The included drinks were also a nice touch. Our cook Leonardo was funny and engaging. Definitely a hit with our family!

10/10. Wine was amazing and truly unlimited, and the pizza was fantastic. It was so much fun and the people we were grouped were with so friendly. It is a more intimate group (6 people including me and the person I was with) which some people may not like but personally I found it to be very enjoyable as everyone was great. Our instructor was friendly and helpful with a great sense of humor.

Tom took us on an informative journey of expertise and fun. From a non starter in the kitchen we created the most delicious pizza and chocolate gelato with a companionable group of participants from all over the world. A magical three hours.

What a fun way to spend an afternoon! We were guided with how to make pizza from scratch, and even got the recipes in the end! We were also shown how to make gelato. I’ve done quite a few of these experiences - I do wish the leader was more interactive with the audience. Other than that, perfect experience!

Leonardo did a great job teaching the class. Our group consisted of 3 families, all with children. Everyone enjoyed it. The 2 hours flew by and we all left with cute certificates.

The meeting pickup instructions were wrong. We had to walk an additional Km from where we were advised to meet which meant we were late for the commencement of the class and we were very disappointed to start the experience

Be warned! Title of excursion is misleading or false.
1. Directions to get to the place were unclear. We ran all over Florence to find it. An hour later we did. (Our teacher at the restaurant told us this has happened before)
2. I booked for a Pizza and Gelato making class. When we got to the restaurant they said they did not offer Gelato and the pizza making was gluten free (which we did not want) Our instructor also told us this error has happened before.
3. Our instructor at the restaurant itself was lovely. She made the experience better. Also, she had asked to take pictures of my reservation to show that it was clearly wrong.
4. I asked for a partial refund and got declined by Viator. I paid for a service Viator did not fully provide.

We loved our pizza cooking class with Tom! It was a very fun environment, and we learned a lot and are planning on recreating this meal when we get home! Would highly recommend a cooking class for all ages when visiting Florence!

Class was fun and pizza and cannolis were delicious. Only downside was that we were quite squished in next to each other. There was room to spread out a little but the stations were pre-set so we had to be on top of each other.

Excellent experience. The Chef 👩🍳 explained every step carefully and continued to ask if we had questions. Her demonstration was excellent. The work area was private and very comfortable. As we moved between areas, each space was cleared and cleaned. Our creations were treated with care. They were prepared with boxes for extra pizza too.

We had such a wonderful time at this Florence pizza and gelato making class! It was fun, interactive, and perfect for the whole family. Fabio and colleague were friendly and patient, and we loved learning how to make authentic Italian pizza and delicious gelato from scratch. Everything was well organized, and eating our creations together was a highlight. Highly recommend for families visiting Florence!

Excellent from start to finish. Well worth the money and Fabio & Alain took time to make everyone feel comfortable and tell stories behind the process and history of pizza and gelato as well as parmigiano reggiano. The entire staff and ciao Florence were wonderful hosts and made you felt completely welcome in Florence and Italy.

The pizza and conolo class was ok. Not much commentary or instructions on how to make the best pizza dough. Just put it together and mix, no tips on texture or technique. The conolo are already made, you’re just adding the cream and toppings.
Lots of extra time, class could have been an hour shorter and still covered everything. If the chef had been more educational or detail oriented it would have been better.
