Fun cooking in Florence

This cooking class was so much fun! I would highly recommend it to novice or experienced cooks. A great time was had by all. The instructor was fantastic and everyone at the cooking school was extremely nice and the food was delicious!

It was such a fun experience. There were five of us in our group. We all worked together to make the three pastas. We laughed and talked thru the whole experience. Would recommend doing it. I think they should pay music while you are cooking that would make it even better!

Mediocre activity with little personality

Everything was fine, not good. We were told we would meet and shop at an outdoor market for ingredients, but we did not. The cooking and eating areas were a little sterile/no personality. Also, the instructors were professional, but a little quiet and not much personality. The pastas were pretty good, not great. I have had fantastic cooking classes and private chefs that are warm and fantastic. This was a pretty cold experience

Very glad we did this, it was a ton of fun! We met people from all over the world and learned the basics in pasta making. We aren't trained chefs, so it wasn't the best food, but it was still yummy. The experience was well worth the time and money.

What an amazing cooking class! Was so much fun to learn how to make the different pasta and our instructor was patient and so helpful. Best part was eating all the food after our making the meal! Was delicious!!

A Good Experience!

Great time! Our group of... I would say 24? Was split into four tables, so we (as a couple) were working alongside a family of four. It was slightly awkward, but the instructors were kind and patient with all of us. Each of us were given one of two types of pasta to work. The final product was shared family-style. Good way to learn multiple types of pasta, but it happens so fast, with such overlapping steps, that it might be a little confusing to try to recall later. Luckily they gave us the recipe!

My fiancée and I took this cooking class as an excursion in Florence and we are very happy we did. It was a great experience. Made three different kinds of pasta and a dessert. Our host was very pleasant and knowledgeable and guided us through making some delicious food. Highly recommend!

Hands-On Pasta Experience in Florence

Our host chef (there were two) did her best in trying to assist and interact with everyone in her group (there were two groups). The prep area isn’t huge, so it got a bit loud at times in trying to follow instructions. We prepared three different pastas - a fettuccine, a pumpkin-filled ravioli with butter/olive oil & sage sauce and gnocchi with sofrito. There was also a panna cotta dessert. We were very hands-on in this experience, then the chefs cook what we’ve prepared, and then sit down for a communal meal with wine and water. Keep in mind the storefront for this experience is currently having construction right outside their door. There is a nice Caffé nearby where you can have a coffee and pastry if you arrive early.

My daughter, granddaughter and I attended this class. We all had such a good time! I had been intimidated by making homemade pasta and now I can’t wait to get home and make all of the recipes that we learned. The school was so professional, organized and clean. The chefs were amazing and the food was great! My granddaughter is now recommending this course to all of her other student friends. I highly recommend this experience.

So much fun making pasta with my family! My family of 5 had a great time cooking together during our class. We made 3 different pastas after making 3 types of dough as well as creating all the sauces from scratch! The teaching chefs are a lot of fun and make sure to get everyone involved in the cooking. It was one of our favorite things we did in Florence and I highly recommend it!

The cooking class was a fun way to spend part of a day. Learning to make pasta was so much easier than I expected. We made linguine with a tomato sauce, gnocchi with a ragu sauce, ravioli with a sage/butter sauce and a dessert. The chefs made the experience fun. We definitely left with full stomachs!

This pasta making class was so much fun! I loved being able to make some deliciois Italian food and come out of it with the recipes. The dinner was so good, and there was plenty of wine to go around. The chefs were very helpful and gave us some great cooking tips. I would definitely do it again!
