We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this cooking class! The instructor, Gui, was entertaining, engaging, and incredibly helpful throughout. We brought along our 11 and 13 year-olds, and he did a great job making sure they were involved and having fun the entire time.
Not only did we all learn something new, but the food we made was absolutely delicious. It ended up being everyone’s favorite experience of the trip, even my son, who isn’t usually interested in cooking, loved it.
Highly recommend this class for families or anyone looking for a fun, memorable, and hands-on experience!

So awesome! Very interactive and educational. My daughter and I loved it. Definitely will be making more pasta at home.

A must do in Italy! I loved going to the market with Gui, our chef, and seeing how he chooses his ingredients for our class. He explained the local food, introduced us to vendors and we sampled meats and cheeses. He pointed out things to do & see as we walked from the restaurant to the market and back. The class was fun and he explained very well how to make the ravioli, fettuccine and tiramisu that we made. Lunch was delicious! Highly recommend!

Our chef was so much fun and the meal was fantastic. I can’t wait to try what we learned when I get back home.

The class was very fun and engaging. Chef Giu was very flexible with my dairy- free request. He not only made the class fun for the adults but engaging for my son. The food was delicious as was the dessert. Don't think twice about booking the cooking class, just do it! Bonus he had good taste in background music...🤘

My family of 5 absolutely loved this experience!! Orietta was fantastic! She not only taught us many helpful cooking tips but was so entertaining! The length of the class was perfect (we had two teens with us) and the meal afterwards was delicious. Well organized and alot of fun! Put this on your list of things to do while in Florence!

This was, without question, one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences of our trip. From the moment the class began, Fabio’s warmth, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge of Italian cooking set the tone for a relaxed and engaging afternoon.
Fabio guided us step by step through the art of making fresh pasta and tiramisu, sharing tips, techniques, and stories along the way that made the experience feel authentic and personal. His teaching style was patient, encouraging, and incredibly well-paced, ensuring everyone felt confident and involved regardless of experience level.
The atmosphere was fun and intimate, the food was absolutely delicious, and the sense of accomplishment at the end made it even more rewarding. More than just a cooking class, it was a genuine cultural experience brought to life by an outstanding instructor. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to truly taste Italy.

This was a fun and memorable experience in Florence for our family of five. The service and our chef were excellent. We learned about making pasta, beef ragu, and tiramisu all while having a great time. Our family can't wait to try the receipe's out at home. Highly recommend this activity as it was something different from the museums and church visits.

I booked this activity of a pasta and tiramisu cooking class in Florence when we visited with our son and his family. It was a hit! We had the best chef, Alain! We started the day with a market tour to gather all of the fresh ingredients for our menu. The market had everything so displayed. We even got to sample the prosciutto and bread! Alain was very entertaining and he told us lots of fun stories. We made pasta, ravioli, 2 types of sauces, and tiramisu. Everything was delicious! After we had finished our cooking we were able to have a lovely sit down lunch complete with wine, for those who love wine! Alain really made his s great experience. A definite highlight!

Wow, this was so much fun!! We had a wonderful experience with Chef Leonardo, and I can’t wait to try these recipes at home. The group I was in was so proud of our pastas and getting to eat what we made. The ravioli was especially good. I highly recommend this class!

Good experience overall. The chef, Orietta, is very friendly and made us very comfortable in cooking. But, the class time apparently was cut short (not sure if it was because the three of us were the only students). Instructed on making regular pasta (nothing on making ravioli) and tiramisu only. The class was supposed to last for 2 and 1/2 hours but the cooking was done slightly over 1 hour and we were done with eating and out of the bldg in 1 hour and 45 mins. Glad that we did not pay full price for this event. Otherwise, it does not worth $59/person.

This cooking class and trip to the market was amazing. Fabio, the chef, was so personable and so fun. My partner and I were the only ones to book the class at that time so we got a private tour of the market and class. Fabio really took his time to show us all around the market and how to spot fresh produce and different foods to try! During the class he made it so enjoyable and took his time to show us the correct ways to do each step. The food was amazing- best meal we’ve had in Italy so far and the fact that we cooked it made it even better! Would highly recommend!

For our first trip to Italy we had been to Rome and Venice and this experience was a reason why we enjoyed our time in Florence the most. Our instructor Gui was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and a genuinely fun guy. The food was delicious as well and might as say, might have been the best pasta we had in italy. Would definitely recommend to others and I’d even consider their other classes

This is one of the best activities we’ve experienced in our many years of traveling. Alain was so enthusiastic, entertaining and made everyone feel comfortable. He obviously loves his job and enjoys sharing his knowledge with others.
Very patient and at the end of the class we ate an incredibly delicious meal. Highly recommend!

This was a great experience! We got to make individual pasta, ravioli, and tiramisu. We also learned about making the sauces and was taught by a very experience instructor. Each person had their own work station and learned how to mix the flour and egg to make the pasta and ravioli. The instructor was Gulia and she kept the session fun. Everyone had a fun time making the food and then eating it. Time flew by quickly because we were having so much fun. I highly recommend taking this cooking class.

Chef Alain was an amazing teacher! He was a great, captivating speaker and taught us the fine art of making tagliatelle, ravioli, sauce, and tiramisu. We cannot wait to make these in our kitchen back in the United States.

We absolutely LOVED this cooking class! My husband does not really enjoy cooking and even he enjoyed the process and food of course. Giu was an amazing teacher and chef. He gave us a great experience at the market and led us step by step. He even gave us tips for the rest of our trip afterwards. He helped everyone warm up easily and truly provided a great time for us!

Cooking Class Ciao Firenze with Chef Gui was an absolute highlight of our trip. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a fun group and an incredible chef who combined skill, patience, and a great sense of humor.
The experience was much more than just cooking. It started with a visit to the local market, where we learned how to select fresh ingredients, and continued all the way through to the final dishes. Along the way, Chef Gui shared plenty of useful tips and tricks that made everything feel both simple and achievable at home.
What stood out most was how enjoyable and engaging it all was. It never felt rushed, and honestly, I didn’t want it to end. The recipes were delicious yet surprisingly easy, which made the whole experience even more rewarding.
A small tip: book this class on your first day in Florence. You’ll get fantastic recommendations for places to eat and visit during the rest of your stay.
We will definitely do this again!

Amazing experience! Chef Giulia and her sous chef did an incredible job. They were very patient and explained everything in the class clearly, making it easy to follow along. I would definitely come back for another class!

It was amazing! He was funny, helpful, personable 😃 Has to be one of the best choices I made on this trip!!!
Stacey_W, Mar 2026
What a classic, fun experience to share the morning making pasta, tiramisu then sitting down to enjoy the fruits of our labor- with endless wine to boot. Giulia was an amazing teacher, starting off the day with a trip to the market (an 'add on' that I definitely recommend). She walked us through every step, moved at a very nice pace, and made the experience so memorable. She injected personal stories and explained cooking techniques that added so much value. I highly recommend booking this class.
