Full Day Sightseeing Mt. Fuji w/ Carter Sasaki
To start off, it’s really helpful that the team with the F trip was really informative from the beginning, with receiving a message from their team member named Emma via Viator about the what/when/where/how of the tour meeting point. Next, the evening before the day tour, Carter Sasaki messaged me directly via WhatsApp re: contact info, instructions re: meeting point. Carter is very informative and enthusiastic and genuine about what they do, from factoids and authentic perspective within context of the places we visited during the tour! Carter is patient and proactive about making sure that everyone in the tour group is accounted for and that we try to stay on schedule of the tour so that we got to see all 8 sites as indicated in the tour description. My favorite parts of the day tour, in addition of course to seeing Mt. Fuji in all its majesty and wonder, were trying different foods we got to try because of Carter’s fantastic recommedations: ICE CREAM near Lake Kawaguchiko and ICE CREAM near Shimoyoshida Station (the 1,000 yen Red Fuji (Strawberry) Soft Serve, when we made our way to visit Arakurayama Sengen Park. What stood out to me was the thoughtful plan to to make a reservation for the whole group at a lovely lunch spot after we had visited Lake Kawaguchiko. Carter took all our orders while we were in the coach bus to communicate with the restaurant so when we got there the food was ready to eat, which was incredibly delicious!! Lastly, I really enjoyed witnessing Carter’s joy talking about Mt. Fuji and excitement and hope to see Mt. Fuji on a clear day! Sure enough, the Sun came out to highlight Mt. Fuji. We see Mt. Fuji with each of the 8 tour sites we got to see today. Overall, it was a fulfilling and worthy tour day! Carter, thank you for your dedication and enthusiasm as a tour guide, let alone your musicianship as you started off our day to the rocking tune of “Living On A Prayer” by Bon Jovi (Carter was sending vibes/prayers that we see Mt. Fuji on a clear day–and we did!). You were stellar!

Great tour of Mt. Fuji and surrounding highlights
Great day trip while in Tokyo. Beautiful bus drive, about two hours. My. Fuji was 100% visible so we lucked out! We were told by our wonderful tour guide that it’s usually 30%. Tram ride and boat tour were nice and relaxing. Lunch was great buffet of traditional Japanese foods. Well organized. Bullet train back was the way to go as only 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

Mount Fuji Experience
Mirza, our tour guide was punctual in the morning to pick us up at our hotel. He was a careful and safe driver throughout the day. He was pleasant and very helpful. Mirza knew the correct spots to stop for great photos. There were four of us and he helped in taking photos so we could all be in the photo. The tour was paced leisurely. We had ample time in each spot. He recommended a restaurant, a speed boat activity to see Mt Fuji and delicious ice cream. He also assisted us to purchase tickets. We all enjoyed the day.

Perfect Sumo experience for Families
Really informative, fun and hilarious activity to do with families. They got all ages involved in the learning of what a Sumo wrestlers life looks like. It helped that the announcer was so engaging and outgoing. The Sumo wrestlers were more performative than anything similar to a real match (which I'd like to see in the future) but this was great for a big family.

Culture shock doesn't get much more shocking than your first visit to Tokyo. From the kaleidoscopic bright lights and skyscrapers to the maze-like backstreets and intricate rituals associated with everything from shrines to sumo, Tokyo can be simultaneously confounding and thrilling. Whether it's your first visit or your 15th, expert-led Tokyo tours will unveil even the most seemingly impenetrable parts of the city, whether it's the back alley bars of Shinjuku or a traditional tea ceremony room.
