A Wonderful Day Exploring Tokyo with Lily!

Lily was an excellent tour guide! This tour involved quite a bit of walking, but she was very mindful of the group’s needs and made a point to stop whenever anyone needed a break. She kept a comfortable pace, made sure no one was left behind, and was always happy to answer questions. Her knowledge of Tokyo’s history, culture, and landmarks made each stop more meaningful, and her friendly personality made the day enjoyable from start to finish. We visited some incredible sites and learned so much along the way. If you’re considering this tour, I highly recommend requesting Lily as your guide. The Tea Ceremony was vey educational and informative. We received a thorough description of the history involved and a wonderful demonstration of what was described. The tea was awesome. Kimonos were nice. Great location - Sensō-ji Temple, Asakusa Shrine are very close.

Terrific day trip

This was a great day trip and my daughter and I were so glad to have done this. There was a long delay on the ride out because the main highway was closed down for a while but we navigated around it. Naomi is the best tour guide. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and made the tour group feel special. There were 20 people in the tour group. The visit to the shrine, waterfall and lake all were great. Was nice to spend some time away from the city. Naomi even recommended a few restaurants for after our return. We did end up prepaying for the shrine tickets which you could have easily purchased when you got there for a lot less. However, we were there during a less busy time but I could see where it would be more efficient to prepay for the ticket and spend a little extra so you don’t have to wait in a long line to buy tickets during a busier time. Overall, very happy with our decisions for this day!!!

Awesome Tsukiji market tour

The tour was conducted by Nori and couldn’t have been better. He led us through the whole market place, shared information about various japanese foods with us and even showed us how to pray at a shrine. He was very attentive and asked the group what kind of food we’d like to try. He also showed interest in the group and we had some nice conversations. I can totally recommend this tour and want to highlight that Nori was an awesome guide.

Fantastic tour! Well worth it!

This excursion was an absolutely fantastic way to experience some of Japan’s most iconic sights in one day. From start to finish, everything was well organized and ran smoothly. Seeing Mount Fuji was truly breathtaking. We were very lucky that we had a bright sunny clear day that made it even more magical and unforgettable. Kamakura was a highlight, especially visiting the Great Buddha, which is even more impressive in person. The history and peaceful atmosphere there really stood out. Also, Lake Ashi was another beautiful stop, offering scenic views and a relaxing change of pace. The combination of cultural landmarks, natural beauty, and comfortable transportation made this a well-balanced and enjoyable day. It is a full day with an early start, but absolutely worth it if you want to see a lot in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Japan for the first time or those wanting to check off some must-see destinations in one trip. We stopped for lunch which was delightful and delicious. Our tour guide was from Spain but really knew his history and facts about this wonderful country!

A lovely way to tour Tokyo

This was a lovely tour. It was nice to cover a lot of ground (about 20km over 3.5 hrs) and see some of the city with two lovely tour guides who had cultural knowledge and insights to share. It felt like the perfect amount of time to be on a bike, and it was nice to hop on and off as we traversed the city. I definitely recommend. It was a nice break for my legs after a long walking day the day before as well!

Tim is the best!

This was an amazing trip and I would highly recommend this if you’re trying to see Mount Fugi! Tim our guide was very knowledgeable and incredibly nice! He did a great job of setting clear expectations throughout the day to keep the group on time and had great extra details about each site. He finished with a bunch of recommendations for restaurants and things to do at each drop off, I give this 10 out of 10!

Sam is the man

It was just perfect. Not too long dragged out but at a nice pace. Sam our guide was lighthearted and humorous and helped pass the time on the bus with information. The bus ride is dependent on time of day traffic but the bus was comfortable and our 2 hr ride went well. Expect to climb many steps at the shrine as this is the site where you’ll spend most your time.
