Guide Belle was very good. She coordinated right from the beginning creating whatsap group previous day helping everyone to be organised and. Arrive ontime

It was almost perfect except that we were a bit late starting the tour because we have to wait for other people who were also late. Although, thanks to our tour guide Wennie, she was considerate enough to accommodate them and navigate around it. We got lucky, we were just minutes away into missing the cruise but we made it! In summary, we still enjoyed our tour, especially riding the gondola going to Owakudani. There are very interesting sites around Mt. Fuji and we learned some of the culture and history behind it. Wennie has been such a wonderful and helpful tour guide, we can rely on her anytime.

We picked this particular tour because it guaranteed the Hakone Ropeway as part of the tour, something that others didn’t
It’s a long day but the Coach was very comfortable with plenty of legroom and space, this is important because you are on the coach for at lease 2 hours each way from Tokyo.

It was hurriedly booked night day before. But still I got message itself in the night from my bus guide Zoe on exactly place to come with the flage she represent.
Trip went very well had good scenery of the mt. Fuji whole day.
All the activities are superb.
I must say about our guide Zoe,She was consistent and full corporative further very knowledgeable of the journey. Very punctual but supportive.

This was a really great tour. The bus was very comfortable and the driver was great. Our guide was very friendly, helpful and informative. The pirate ship ride was awesome and the cable car was a great experience. Several great views of Mt Fuji and a nice food stop. Would give more than 5 stars.

I’m sure the guide Penguin is a nice guy. He seems nice and friendly but his English was incomprehensible. Unfortunately I can’t say he was knowledgeable either. What I really have problem was the tour guide put all the group members name AND phone number on a list and posted it in our WhatsApp group WITHOUT my consent! This is so illegal. At the beginning of the tour, after everyone boarded the bus, he told everyone to put on the seat belt and that was the only safety measure he took. There was no explanation of emergency exit, or in the event of accident or earthquake how to get out of the bus safely. There was no toilet on the bus. Also, the title was misleading by mentioning Mt Fuji. We could only see Mt Fuji from afar. The promised cable car was sadly cancelled due to strong wind- which I don’t blame the tour guide. It wasn’t his fault. They did refund the cable car fee to us but why took us there when surely they would have known earlier that the whole days cable car was cancelled?! We ended up being transported to the top of the mountain by bus which was painfully slow. By the time we got to lunch venue it was after 2:30pm. By the time we ate the Mt Fuji was barely visible due to darkness. It was so poorly organised. I have travelled with many independent tour operators and this one was way below average. I would not recommend at all.

We have informed the new tour guide, as well as all of our guides, that they must not share guests' personal information with any group or individual, even if their intentions are good.
We check the operation status of the Hakone Ropeway every morning. When we set off to take the ropeway, the Hakone Transportation website indicated that it was operating normally. However, upon arrival, we unfortunately found that it was temporarily closed due to strong winds. From now on, we will not only check the Hakone Transportation website for ropeway operational information but will also contact the ropeway operator directly for double confirmation.
After we were notified of the ropeway closure, the tour guide immediately informed the company. The company then offered all guests a refund for their ropeway tickets and a complimentary black egg. Since only buses could be used to reach Owakudani, the roads became more congested than expected, for which we sincerely apologize.
We are committed to developing contingency plans for future trips to ensure a better experience for our guests. We appreciate your understanding and feedback, which will help us improve and provide exceptional service to all our customers.

1) The trip is mis-titled. It has nothing to do with Mt. Fuji and nowhere near it. I understand there is a chance to glimpse it from a distance on a rare, clear day
2) This is a bus ride tour, largely through non-scenic roads. Ended up 13 hour tour with 10.5 of it on bus or highway bus stops.
3) itinerary was reversed and what looked like could be best part of the tour - the boat ride across lake - commenced in darkness so there was absolutely nothing to see. And added to driving.
4) It was a mixed English-Chinese tour (not mentioned) and guide's English was poor and incomprehensible. They should list it as a Chinese language tour and not mix.

An absolute disaster of a trip. The vehicle was tiny, cramped, and painfully uncomfortable. We were made to travel 200 plus kilometers in a tiny vehicle. It was easily the worst bus ride of my life.

This is a great tour for those who want to see Mt Fuji but also other cool things nearby. Our tour guide, Brewster Chisei was outstanding - 5 stars. He was friendly, knowledgeable and catered for unplanned toilet stops and small changes to the itinerary. The driver was fantastic too. The pick up place in Shinjuku was reasonably easy to find.

This is a truely one of a kind day trip. The views on the journey across Lake Ashi in a pirate ship followed by traveling up the mountain via ropeway gondolas, just stunning and the chance to catch a glimps of Mt. Fugi makes it even better. And, once you reach Hankone's volcanic Owakudani Valley the views are even more amazing. Definitely try their famous black eggs. Also, our guide, Pin, was outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable of the not only the sites on the tour but Japonese history in general. He was informative, friendly and entertaining. Loved it!

We had an amazing time with Pin. He knows so much about the back story of Lake Ashi, Enoshima, and Owakudani, and shared everything in such an interesting way. Jimmy was a nice guy but not a great guide. He started the tour apologizing he does not speak great English, so why is he leading an English tour?
He did the best he could with information and details, but it's obvious he's not comfortable with English tours.
The driver's driving was rough, he put on breaks hard several times, and almost got into a collision.
The actual tour was okay, you got to see some cool areas in Japan outside of the city lights.

We enjoyed our trip to hakone (pirate ship and ropeway) and ate a black egg. The highlight for us was the caves. Lots of stairs, but it was worth it. Jimmylin did a great job! He translated into both English and Chinese. When he was done with the presentation, he graciously answered individual questions.
