Itinerary
Your day begins with pickup from your Tokyo hotel. Meet your private guide, settle into the air-conditioned vehicle, and head south.
Take advantage of your guide’s flexibility to customize your tour to your interests.Recommended activities include riding the ropeway up Mt. Kachi Kachi for panoramic views of Mt. Fuji or taking a cruise on Lake Kawaguchi.
You can also visit Mt. Fuji 5th Station, the final point on the mountain that you can reach by car or by shuttle bus (additional cost). Other popular activities include cruising Lake Ashi in a pirate ship, walking to Arakura Fuji Sengen-jinja Shrine and its pagoda in Arakurayama Sengen Park, and exploring the small village of Oshino Hakkai and its hot springs.
At the end of the tour you are dropped off back at your Tokyo hotel.

First time in Japan and wanted to see Mt. Fuji and the surrounding area.. are first mistake was staying in the Mt. Fuji area. Why? The travel there was brutal three trains and an hour bus ride with our luggage. We made it but the return trip was going to be even worse. That is where Ali and the tour helped a lot. If we had known in advance that they pickup and drop off from Tokyo it would have saved us a ton of time however we were able to get dropped off back in Tokyo and avoid the travel nightmare. That being said the tour was comfortable and informative are driver spoke good English and helped with translation he customized the trip to see what we wanted to see and it was nice we had a great lunch and then followed that up with some very good ice cream. It was really good we then casually toured the old town and then were brought back to Tokyo with all of our bags. Note don’t haul your luggage all over and try to navigate the public transit system. The tour overall was great a very nice driver and some beautiful scenery.

Driver was on time and very friendly. Had great stops all around the Mount Fuji area. Driver suggested we leave earlier to avoid traffic and crowds which was a good call.

The hike provides a glimpse into the beauty & history of the region. The terrain at times was slippery, involved a cobbled path, and uphill ascent, so plan accordingly. Our guide was absolutely wonderful- he matched our pace, answered all of our questions, and brought us to a lovely, local establishment for lunch.

Our driver is really nice and very knowledgeable. We are sooo happy that we are able to see Mt. fuji that day. Our driver took most of our pictures and it came out great. We will book this tour again if we decide to go back toJapan again

It is a very good tour. Our Driver David from Live Nippon was very friendly and helped us to customise our itinerary according to weather. He showed us all the attractions we wanted to go and still managed tour in time explaining us how much time we should spend at each attraction to cover all of them. Highly recommend David from Live Nippon for this tour.

My family and I did the Mt. Fuji private tour. Sam, our tour guide, took us to many wonderful Mt. Fuji sites. He made us a very detailed and organized itinerary, so we wouldn’t miss anything. He also explained the traditions and history behind every place. We had a lovely day. I highly recommend this tour. Sam you’re the best! Arigato Gozaimasu!

Absolutely wonderful tour. Customizable and allows groups to spend more/less time in planned locations based on interests. Great photo spots. Mirza was very knowledgeable and gave great activity recommendations. Travelers should be aware that activities are not included in price of tour, so make sure to bring cash or a credit card.

Awesome experience! Fuji is very reclusive and it was pretty cloudy. But Areeb was super flexible and we modified our itinerary to have more fun at the 5th station.

Our Driver Pradhan was amazing. He helped up navigate our itinerary as the weather was changing. He ran in umbrellas to us for the top of the mountain. He loved our trip!

Our Mt. Fuji excursion was absolutely incredible! Although it was a cloudy day and we were only able to see the tip of Mt. Fuji for a little the trip was still amazing! All the stops were incredible. We were also lucky to see the blessing of the hikers as hiking season began July 1st! The itinerary was well organized, giving us plenty of time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. Our guide was friendly, informative, and made the experience even more enjoyable. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting, for sure will be a repeated tour if we ever return to Japan hopefully a time where we can see Mt. Fuji!

The car was extremely comfortable and our guide, Salar, knowledgeable. We visited 5 sites, the highlight for us being the shrine and ice cream. Mnt Fuji was not visible and some of the stops would have been enhanced by its presence but the trip provided an excellent contrast to Tokyo and was very worthwhile.

We enjoyed this tour overall. Started early before scheduled time to beat traffic which made for less crowds at first couple spots. Went to 5 stops and explored around. We felt the stops got better each time. Saw Mt Fuji but was overcast so could not see the top. It was still worth the time. Our guide was mainly a driver from place to place and gave us some info for each stop. Knowledgeable enough for our group overall but would be good to read up on the places you want to go before this tour as we didn’t know some of the places and the schedule wasn’t completely set so we could have selected other places if we wanted. We had an adhoc stop for lunch and it turned out to be such a great add. The overall was well worth the longer tour day and seeing more of the country helped break up the crowded city. We had 6 tall people and our van was fine for the day. The suspension/shocks could use some maintenance though. Lots of great photo ops with some tourist traps missed in but still worth spending the day.

David was superb....couldn't have asked for a better guide. My wife, son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandkids thought he was wonderful. He made sure that we all enjoyed ourselves. We saw most of everything that we wanted plus went on an unexpected boat ride

We had an amazing experience with our tour guide Israr! It was our first trip to Japan! I was travelling with my teenage sons and my mother, and despite the rainy weather, Israr went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible day.
He was incredibly accommodating and determined to help us catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji. He took us to multiple different viewing spots until we found the perfect location, making sure we had beautiful, picture-perfect memories to take home.
Throughout the day, he was patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts and insights about the area. His positive attitude and dedication made all the difference, even with the challenging weather.
My teenage boys had a fantastic time, which says a lot! We truly appreciated all of his effort and care in making our experience so memorable. After our trip, he dropped us off at the shopping centre and gave us some pointers on the best placesnto check out in Tokyo.
I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Japan. Thank you for making our first trip so special!

We booked a customized tour to Mt. Fuji. Our private guide/driver was Pradhan. He was punctual, very accommodating, professional and pleasant to talk to. The drive to Mt. Fuji was 2 1/2 hours from where we stayed. We were lucky enough to get there on time and see it before it got totally covered with clouds. He asked us where we want to go, but asked for his recommendations and trusted him. He took us to one of the largest shrines near Mt. Fuji. We had lunch and went to the lake after. He was also kind enough to take pictures of us. Over all, we were satisfied with the service.

This tour is an all day activity and there is no guarantee if you’re going to see Mt. Fuji because of the weather conditions.
Aside from that, it was a wonderful experience with our guide Haseeb. He made sure that he was on time and constantly in contact throughout the trip. Highly recommended.
