- ALL Participants will need an International Driving Permit issued in the format of the 1949 Geneva Convention from a government authorized association to drive in Japan. • EXCEPT participants with licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF)
- Drivers' licenses issued by countries not covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan
- Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation, the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport
- Minimum age is 18 years old.
- Wear flat closed footwear, Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.
- **ATTENTION: If your group is more than 6 drivers, your group will split into 2 smaller groups with a guide leading each group.
- You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.

Highly recommend for your next trip to Tokyo. Word to the wise, make sure you read the instructions carefully and that you have the right international drivers license or else you won’t be able to participate. Overall, an amazing experience!

Bring sunglasses & bring a hat, you get crazy dirty in the face, bring some wipes lol, you can take a bag across you or put in the little pouch below, there are lots of 'rules' but the guy behind me hit me about 3x and no one cared.

Wasn't quite what we were expecting so reflects our rating, staff were good but i wasnt expecting to drive around with no stops or commentary on key areas etc, it purely was us driving round on the road for over an hour. Carts are very jumpy and hard to handle so not for the weak minded. Masks recommend to help filter the exhaust fumes from the cart in front, and to catch the dirt from the road hitting your face..This wasn't for us 😕 we really wanted to like this but it was an experience best suited for people who want to drive a go cart through Tokyo.

Only down side is you cant dress up as mario characters (licensing reasons)
If coming in the summer, bring sunscreen, water and a positive attitude! Lol

Make sure you bring some change with you (cold drinks at the vending machine, sunscreen and a tye-able hat. Marky was our guide and we had a lot of fun whipping through the city. He took a bunch of pictures for us and we got to view some cools spots around Tokyo! I was a little nervous as I have never driven in a foreign country but Marky and Jordan made me feel comfortable within the first 5 minutes!

This was a 10/10 experience!! We had an amazing guide who took us around the city, taking photos of us and making sure we all had turns in the front. The Rainbow Bridge was a big highlight, and you get to go on it twice. We did the mid-day option which we loved, as there wasn’t much traffic so we could go fast. We loved our time and highly recommend this company!!

I came to Tokyo and took my 18 yr old son and his 19 yr old best friend to this excursion. I thought doing this at night would be particularly fun. We all had a great time. I’m glad I wore a sweater (I didn’t put on a costume) as it was cool driving around at night. The highlights for us were the Rainbow Bridge and seeing Tokyo Tower lit up. Overall the kids had more fun than they thought they would. My 14 yr old couldn’t come unfortunately so I’m sure we’ll be back in 4 years to do it again. Our guide, Brian, was great. Of note I booked through Viator so had to pay for the optional insurance when we got there but no big deal. There seem to be other amenities offered if you booked through the tour directly (Go pro camera, etc).

Getting to the place was a bit annoying but it was well worth the effort, driving around on the Go Karts was amazing. Driving over the bridge at top speed felt like something right out of Mario kart. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of it.

Great experience driving through the streets of Tokyo in a go-kart, they take lots of pictures and airdrop to your phone for free, our tour guide was brilliant, pls note you have to pay an add 1000 yen each for the insurance and need to take passport, driving licence and have an international driving permit costs 5.50 GBP each and can get with ease from any local shops in the UK.

Street Kart Tokyo Bay with our guide Lucan was a pure joy! It was a fabulous experience driving around the famous landmarks. The smiles never disappeared from our faces! Lucan was very friendly and profesional at the same time! He knows the traffic lights soooo well!!! We would happily do it again!

It’s no wonder this place gets good business. They have acclimated to Japanese culture and kept it just as fun. Everyone there speaks English as well as Japanese, and some others. The hosts, as well as the guides are super nice but VERY serious about respecting the Japanese culture… and that is a very good thing to have. Our guide Melina was amazing, and engaging. She is a big reason we would come back again!

Such a fun experience, definitely a must do in Tokyo and totally worth. If I could suggest some changes; it is VERY LONG, I see this in other reviews and people saying to go elsewhere that is closer to an hour, this would have been more that sufficient because you do hit a point where you’ve had your fun and you just want it to be over. I also wish they provided video footage of you driving, they already have cameras on the back of every vehicle that say they’re recording and yet there’s no footage of you actually driving around which would be way cooler than photos at stop lights. Lastly, more of a safety issue, they tell you that you “can” use a mask and pair of glasses while you’re out there. I took them but then didn’t put them on when we were leaving because I didn’t want them to ruin the photos. The second we pulled out of the store I got tiny rocks/dust kicked up into my eyes and my contacts were irritated for the rest of the time I was out driving. Obviously I put the glasses on after this happened, just taking them off for the photos when we were stopped but if I hadn’t taken them just in case it would have been a problem because there were countless times while driving I heard objects hit the glasses that otherwise would have hit my eyes. I’m shocked this isn’t mandatory or that a warning isn’t given.

Awesome experience, we spent a good 1 1/2 to 2 hours riding carts around streets of Tokyo. Went to Tokyo tower, across Rainbow bridge. Very well organized.
