It was an amazing trip. Our guide Akira was excellent. He brought pictures so we could learn more about the history of Kyoto. His attitude was very enjoyable and was able to adapt the tour to our needs. We learned that having a Japanese guide is much better as they provide more cultural information. Kyoto is a beautiful city that I will recommend to visit. And if you could have Akira as your guide much better.

We had an amazing tour of Osaka with Kiko! Our entire family really enjoyed the experience. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful throughout the entire dad. He took us to Namba temple and also showed us many interesting spots that were off the usual tourist path, which made the experience feel very special and unique. We were able to see a side of Osaka we never would have discovered on our own. One of the highlights of the day was visiting some of the coolest pinball machine places in Osaka. My daughter even got to try a pinball machine for the first time, and it was such a fun and memorable moment for her. I realized I had been missing out on experiences like this, and I’m so grateful we got to share it together thanks to Kiko. We really appreciated how smoothly he guided us and how much we were able to experience without ever feeling rushed. He also made everything easy, enjoyable, and memorable. Great guide on this tour!

The deer are cute but when you buy the cookies to feed them they rush you and nip at your pockets! My guide was fantastic! She was in constant contact with me riding on the train to meet her. When I needed to rest she stopped! She was a wonderful person!!

Was an excellent experience. Started off with some historical information around sumo to get you into the mood. Then the wrestlers come out and demonstrate the various strategies. This is then followed by audience participation, which was the highlight of the session. Thoroughly recommended.

This tour was one we will never forget. Led by Scott and his tour guide shadow Dillon, we experienced some of the best foods imaginable. Scott really made the tour with his wit and charisma. We visited 5 spots, all a little different than the other. The last couple were true hole in the walls. Dillon provided great back story for one of the towns we visited thay really contextualized our journey. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Osaka.

This is my second review for the same trip. Yesterday, my son lost a meaningful piece of jewelry. Our tour guide, Hiro, went above and beyond to help us since we do not speak Japanese. She was able to speak to the workers at the location and help us get the jewelry back. Hiro was unbelievably kind and helpful. Thank you so much!

The best tour!

Of all the tours my mom and I took during our two weeks in Japan, this was hands down our favorite! Our guide Salvatore was the man. So so funny - we were laughing the entire time. He was also kind and extremely knowledgeable - all around a great dude. Was very cool hearing from a local perspective. We learned a ton while also being constantly entertained. He also did an amazing job making sure the tour was inclusive. My mom does not not eat raw fish or seafood...which is tough for a food tour in Japan, I know. However, he made sure that everywhere we went she had something she could eat and enjoyed. Even at the last sushi spot, she had a steak set she loved (which was the first & only time we had that offered during our trip). A++ overall. If you're looking for a food tour in Osaka, look no further (& request Salvatore if you can)! Genuinely such an amazing time. Thanks again
