We had the pleasure of having Aki as our tour guide. Aki was super knowledgable and made our tour very enjoyable, she was also very helpful with taking photos whenever. Aki seemed to always have an answer for the questions that we had, and she also paid for me and my tours transportation back to the station out of her pocket post tour, and offered recommendations to other parts of Japan. Through and through a 5 star guide. Overall I would really recommend this trip to anyone looking to experience Nara.

A great way to spend our...

A great way to spend our first night in Osaka! I went with my family (we're all adults), and we had a blast. Our guide Taka was extremely funny and good to be around. He showed us some tourist hubs in the area, but most of the tour focused on the smaller, hidden gems of the different areas and some of the nightlife. We got great recommendations and ideas for the rest of our trip. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful day exploring Kyoto with Yoshi. We were able to see so much in a single day and visit several of the city's most iconic sights. Yoshi was friendly, professional, and made the day easy and enjoyable. Having transportation arranged for us allowed us to make the most of our time, and we definitely would not have been able to cover as much ground on our own. If you're looking for a convenient way to see many of Kyoto's highlights in one day, this tour is a great option.

Hands down one of my favorite tours ever! My guide Cico (Kiko) was awesome! Super funny, knowledgeable, and truly a man of the people. If there were a more warming and welcoming individual id love to meet them! He kept the group entertained with great stories, good food, and drinks. Never felt rushed, never felt like time was pressed, we lingered at spots because the vibes were great, mostly due to him! the tour was well planned, each spot truly captured the heart of the city! I wouldn’t;t have wanted to experience Osaka food any other way! 10/10

Amy is amazing!!

This was a fantastic experience! It started with lots of communication from Amy on where, when and how to get to where you need to be. She put a lot of effort into coordinating everything and making sure everyone got as great of experience as possible! Going to all the sights was super fun and we knew of all the right places to be. Nara park was by far the most favourite of mine. Just watch out for some of the naughty deer, they will get you, hahahaha!

One of the best things we did in Osaka

We were so surprised at how well-planned this trip was. Meals were preselected with options for people who avoid certain foods, seats were saved for us when we got there and we got to try a pretty wide variety of food special to the region. We really loved the part of town we went through, much different from the city area we’d been in. Our guide, Niko was a young Japanese/New Zealander so it was really helpful having someone truly fluent in both languages. He was really friendly and more than happy to take our pictures as well! Great tour, one of our favorite things we did in Osaka!

We booked the “Hungry Osaka Street Food Tour: 15 Tastings & 3 Drinks with a Local” on the same day that we were flying to Osaka, thinking we would need dinner after the flight anyway. Unfortunately, our plane was delayed for several hours. I emailed Viator, and they contacted the tour manager, Andy, because we really wanted to do this tour and not lose the money. Since it was less than 24 hours before the tour, we were unable to cancel, but they were extremely accommodating and rescheduled us for the following day. We even changed our plans and moved another tour to the morning so that we could make this one. I went on this tour with my 26-year-old son, and it was very well organized. The guide was amazing, funny, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. The food was excellent, and we loved learning more about Osaka and its local culture through the tour. Out of probably 15 tours we did in Japan, this was the best one. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you! Don’t hesitate to book this tour — we absolutely loved it!

Wonderful guide

Our guide was wonderful. Showed us the train system - didn’t work as we still got lost but not her fault. Visited the shrines on our list and she was so informative and interestingly. It was a long tiring day but worth it and she stopped regularly for drinks and lunch. Particularly loved the wee cafe she stopped at in the afternoon for tea and cake. All costs included which was a surprise.

Don’t miss out on this fun way to learn about sumo wrestling.

What an awesome experience! First, we learned about sumo and its history. Then we met the two sumo wrestlers, Kai and Ryuu, who would be performing today. They demonstrated legal and illegal moves. They threw in a little comedy, which was so fun. Next, they invited the audience to participate. How funny was that! Last, they gave everyone an opportunity to have their picture taken with Kai and Ryuu. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to have fun while learning about sumo wrestling. It’s totally worth the money.

Jorge was the highlight

Let’s start with the negatives, we did not get our tickets until 12hours before the bullet train, but that was the only bad thing. Jorge our guide was absolutely amazing, insightful, intelligent and personable. The information he provided for both sites plus life as a Japanese man was very useful, he gave history and then stories on how that history was forged, Ok and for the trip, Miyajima And the floating Tori gate was great, The shrines and temples, and the food all great. Hiroshima and peace park, Jorge had so much historical knowledge and really opened my eyes, Overall for anyone who is interested In Hiroshima book this tour but ask for Jorge.
