Our guide was great!!! She worked with us to ensure we saw what we wanted to see and enjoyed each experience. She found us an out of the way noodle house for lunch that was excellent and helped us navigate customs and ordering. We thoroughly enjoyed her company.

Our family did the 8-hour tour on our first day in Tokyo, and it was a WONDERFUL way to start our trip. Our guide, Naga, was amazing at not just taking us around to multiple places, but also teaching us about the Japanese culture. Cannot recommend enough!

We had a fabulous day with Naoko seeing in Tokyo as many important sites that would have taken us 3 days to do on our own.
Naoko was on time for our tour and was prepared with notes, charts and pictures highlighting the places that we visited. She added so much to our understanding of the Japanese culture and way of life past and present.
Naoko has a wonderful personality and is truly one of the best tour guides that we have ever encountered

Our guide, Hikari, was just ok. She did a great job communicating before the trip. I had agreed that the sample itinerary she sent looked great, but then she took us to different places. We were really looking forward to seeing Asakusa, the historic district, so we were a bit disappointed. Her English was hard to understand, so we didn't even realize where we were going. She ended up taking us to the Tsukiji Market which was great, but just not what we were expecting. She seemed a bit frazzled navigating the metro, and even lost us at one point (we ended up finding her after a while of walking around the metro stop). I would definitely give this company another try, just with a different guide.

Kazuna is a gem! We did so much in those 6 hours- we went everywhere in Tokyo from Shibuya to Akaza and we appreciated Kazuna’s hospitality. She gave us historical facts everywhere we went and it was really cool to learn things that I otherwise wouldn’t know.

Our tour guide was prompt and professional. Since we had only four hours, he helped us pick out the best items to see. His driver was excellent and navigated us through the busy Tokyo streets to see our sights. Our guides depth of knowledge and level of detail added to our experience. Sights included blooming Cherry Blossom trees at Japanese gardens, Ginza district, Sword and Banzai merchants, and the Shibuya Crossing

We had a wonderful tour of Tokyo with our guide, Hiro. As first-time visitors to Japan, we truly appreciated how knowledgeable and informative he was with us. He provided great context and insights that made the experience much more meaningful. Hiro paced the tour perfectly for our family of six, including our children (ages 10–14), keeping everyone engaged and comfortable throughout the day. He was patient, accommodating, and clearly experienced in working with families. We met Haruko promptly at our hotel as arranged. She asked our preferences, made recommendations and off we went to the metro. We hit all the spots, had time for a really nice lunch and never felt rushed though we started and ended on time. Her English was perfect so we had no issues there. She is a fast walker, so you should be prepared to walk quickly and a lot, but that was fine for us. We highly recommend Haruko!

The we were up against time to return to our ship. A disappointment but not really Kenishi's fault. He did his ver best to give us what we wanted. We could have been given more advice about the optimum start pont as the one we chose was not optimum for the things to see

Lilly made it so easy for us to see beautiful Tokyo and understand the culture of what we were seeing. She was so accommodating to taking us to the grocery store to buy Japanese spices and explaining what to buy and how to cook with them. We went out to eat this delicious sushi meal, and she helped us order and explained to us various customs.
We really saw a lot of Tokyo and we would’ve not had such a great experience if it wasn’t for her. Touring with Lily made us appreciate Japan and all of its beautiful people in places even more than we even thought we could do that.

Doing this tour our first morning in Japan with Miki was a great idea. There were 9 of us ages 67-1. Very enjoyable tour of Tokyo. Lily was our guide and she was great. We spoke prior to our trip to set an itinerary. She was very flexible and helped us focus on one area of the city to minimize travel time. We stayed around Asakusa and visited the Tsukiji fish market. Great with a local who could guide us to the best food spots. Teens had fun. Would book with Lily again.

This was an ideal tour to start our time in Tokyo. Our guide, Luna, was excellent! I would highly recommend taking the tour so you can get used to the subway system. She showed us everything which really set us up for success. We also had other tours planned so she changed up her route to accommodate. An 8 hour tour can seem daunting on the surface, but our guide Kenichi-san made our day seem less like a potentially hectic trek all over Tokyo than a truly rewarding day spending time with someone who feels like family. Kenichi-san is a true professional; knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about educating people on Japanese culture, history, and contemporary life. He will make sure you get that photo/video you can take home with you, but will also take the time to give you the context behind what you’re seeing so that your immediate experience is enriched in a way it wouldn’t be otherwise. The intimate nature of a private tour allows for a lot of personal attention as well, so our entire family (3 adults, a senior, and a child) felt taken care of as we went from place to place. There’s an ease to the way he approaches his work that does a lot to lessen any potential stress an excursion like this could create, and so we were seeing and learning so many new things but still felt comfortable and not at all overwhelmed throughout the entire day. It was honestly kind of shocking just how comfortable we all felt with Kenichi-san in just a few hours of spending time with him. By the time we got dropped off at our accommodations at the end of the day, we honestly felt grateful to have spent the day with him. If you get Kenichi-san as your guide, consider yourself lucky, because you are guaranteed a great time!!

The 6 hour walking tour is a great way to see the major sights in tokyo. You will be able to tell your guide what you would like to see and they will plan things out so you can see it all! Our guide Hiro was very kind and knowledgeable and made the experience fantastic!

What a perfect time with Fumiko who guided us through a shrine and a temple and explained everything to us. She also taught us to use the subway, then took us through a perfect sushi experience in a local restaurant. Highly recommended for a weekend tour.

Lily was a great tour guide. We loved all the sites she took us to explore and made riding the subway very easy. Lunch was delicious Lily took us to a fantastic Japanese restaurant mainly frequented by locals and not tourist. She found some beautiful cherry trees all in bloom for us to take photos. Lily is great! Just remember to bring cash for a tip. We felt bad because we did not bring any…only credit cards.
