Miky was a fabulous guide and was very thoughtful and kind throughout the day. She led us all around the city and was happy to pivot when we needed to find a cool spot out of the mid-day sun. I would highly suggest her tour- she took pictures for us and shared interesting facts about culture, history and society norms. Following the tour she emailed the list of places we visited which was so helpful!! Thanks Miky you made our first day in Tokyo memorable!!

Our family had a nice experience with Masayuki-San. He gave us a tour of Tokyo and he was very kind and knowledgeable about the history of the city and the areas we traveled to. He pointed out all of the important sites to help us get our learn about the areas.

We scheduled a customized tour of Tokyo and we were very pleased with the guide. Toshiya "Toshi" Okunga was very experienced and provided a wonderful day for us visiting many sites. He personalized our experience and was very flexible if we wanted to make changes. He had a wonderful personality and spoke English very well. My husband and Toshi had much in common with their love of baseball. We plan to go back next year and will be contacting Toshi to provide his expert knowledge and show us more of his city.

Kaz was a wonderful tour guide, she planned an excellent itinerary based on our interests and was invaluable for her local knowledge. She showed us how to use the subway so we could navigate it ourselves afterwards, gave us recommendations for other activities for the rest of our stay and took us to an authentic restaurant for lunch. It was an excellent way to spend our first day in Tokyo.

Would highly recommend this tour with Tak! It was the best way to start our trip. His English was great. He is so smart and kind. He answered all of our questions and gave us so many fun facts that we would have never known on our own. He tailored the tour for us and even with a change for the weather, he made the day wonderful. We got to see and learn so much. We did more in one day with him than we ever would have been able to do on our own. It was truly a great experience and worth it!

We had a wonderful tour of Tokyo with our guide Kazuna. We had told her that this was our first time in Tokyo and we're traveling with our 88 year old mother. She created a fantastic itinerary and dealt with figuring out all of the trains to get us around. She was thoughtful of our mom's experience. Definitely worth every cent.

We had an amazing time. Yoko was so knowledgeable about Tokyo and the sites we visited. She ensure both my adult son and I were both shown areas of interest and provided wonderful information about the area. We visited the fish market and she was able to get us good pricing on delicious sashimi and sushi as well as the fresh strawberries. From there we visited Asakusa Shrine where we learned the history of the buildings and understood more about the Shinto & Buddhist faiths. She also took us to the Robot Cafe which was amazing to see this innovation and what a treat. Lastly she took us to Akihabara so we could find some Anime items for gifts for friends and family back home. By the end we had a wonderful time and cannot wait to go back and see more. Nobu was our guide for a full day walking tour of Tokyo. Be prepared for a lot of walking but it will be worth the effort! We were able to visit the former Edo Castle grounds, see many beautiful shrines, spend time at the Tsukiji fish market and walk the world famous Shibuya Scramble. Nobu taught us how to navigate the subway which was helpful for the rest of our time in Tokyo. What a wonderful day!

Sean was our guide for the 4 hour walking tour and met us in our hotel lobby. We initially thought about going to Tsukiji market but decided to change things up and went to Hamrikyu gardens then to Yodobashi to get the kid some toys and then off to Nakamise street. Sean gave us a good history of things and it was nice to have a private tour guide to answer our questions. Overall would consider another tour but maybe for a longer tour to be able to see more things around town.

Tokyo is a big town. You should decide in advance, what you want to see. Our guide was very fiendly, experienced, showed us a lot of Tokyo.
The problem was the communication before. You get a lot of mails, infos, app, etc. But the mail from the guide didn´t arrive - because of the lot of mails you get, some go into spam, or you do not recognize, because you are not aware, that they are related to Viator. At the end we were lucky, the guide arrived in time at the agreed place.

Our guide, Kanako, was very helpful helping us customized this tour to our needs. These tours allow for flexibility both in time spent and sights visited. She emailed us in advance to get an idea of our plan and then made it happen by taking care of the details. This was all done on public transport which was a plus.

We booked a six hour private tour and were contacted by our tour guide Ayumi well in advance. We discussed our various options and her recommendations and planned out most of our day. We ended up going to Shinjuku Gyoen Gardens, Harajuku Street, Meiji Jingu Shrine, and Shibuya crossing. Ayumi was very knowledgable, professional, and a joy to be with for the afternoon. At our request she also showed us how to navigate the subway systems and made recommendations on other sites to see while in Tokyo. It was a great tour and I would recommend it highly. Lots of walking, wear comfortable shoes.

We really enjoyed our day touring Tokyo with our tour guide Asaka. We could not have had a better tour guide to help us explore this amazing city. This was our first visit to Toyko and we we were intimated by its size. Asaka was able to take us to many of the main attractions while helping us feel comfortable travelling on public transit.
We learned and saw so much thanks to Asaka. And she provided us with great suggestions of places to explore on our own in the three days we had remaining in Tokyo.
