- **ALL GROUP BOOKINGS SHOULD AVOID BOOKING INDIVIDUALLY as there will be no guarantee that you can join together.
- ALL Participants will need to obtain special documents to drive in Japan. • For most countries, an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued in the booklet format compliant to the 1949 Geneva Convention is required. Valid IDP's can only be issued by the same country that issued your domestic license and CANNOT be obtained online while traveling. • FOR Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco you will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), NOT an International Driving Permit.
- Drivers' licenses issued by countries NOT covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan
- Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation: the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport.
- NO Domestic License alone is accepted as a legal document to drive in Japan.
- Street Kart will message you within 24 hrs when confirming booking with information on EXACT documents you need.
- MUST ARRIVE 30min PRIOR TO RESERVED TIME.
- Wear flat closed footwear. Do not wear long flowy skirts or dress.
- Minimum age is 18 years
- You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.

So much fun karting around Shibuya. Loved the experience especially getting to drive through the scramble crossing multiple times. Our tour guide Xavien was fabulous. Highly recommended !!!
Had a brilliant time and our guide was great. Both my sister and I said it was one of the best activities we have ever done.

After having several people say we had to do the street cars in Shibuya Tokyo we gave it a shot! And they were right! The communication from the company was great to ensure we had the necessary driving permits, and our guide Xavian was great. The cars were a ton of fun and we made 3 loops across Shibuya Crossing. Xavian even took a ton of photos which they sent us for no charge after the tour! I'd definitely do it again on my next trip to Tokyo.

This is a must do adventure when in Tokyo. We crossed Shibuya Crossing 4 times! Xavian was friendly and he took several pictures of us during the course of the ride. I strongly recommend it, you will not regret it!

What an incredible experience! My family and I had an absolute blast on the Shibuya Official Street Go-Kart in Shibuya Annex tour! 🏎️💨 The sightseeing was amazing, and seeing Shibuya from the streets in such a unique way made the experience even more special.

Great experience. Wish it could have been longer because it was so much fun. I love speed so being stuck in traffic was a bit disappointing but that’s part of being in central Tokyo. The guys at the gokarting place were great though. Would highly recommend.

The tour guide was amazing. It was a lot of fun.
The go karts were easy to use.
They spoke perfect English.
Spent time and money traveling to this experience only to find out that you need a special international license in order to do this experience. The directions and requirements were about as clear as reading all the entire fine print on Apple products and a whisper. It is unbelievable to me that this business continues to operate without making it clear to their customers what is required. I guarantee they have lost a lot of business from this and they continue to not change. An absolute shame and waste of everybody’s time and money. A 10 year-old child could operate a business better than this.
best ride ever had in my life..the leader was very fun n head us through shibuya cross many times.. it was a fantastic ride.
