What are people saying about Tokyo

Mt. Fuji and our experience. I loved it and cannot wait to see it in winter
We were extremely blessed that the weather was great and we got to see Mt Fuji in its full glory. It is something to reminisce throughout your own life experience and absolutely worth it. I would like to add here that Lydia our tour guide was really good, helpful, and friendly. She was also very kind and solicitous about each of us. The only downside was that the bus seating was extremely small, limited, and uncomfortable especially for tall people. The bus journey due to the seats was very torturous especially for my son who is built like a boxer! He was very uncomfortable and that put a strain on his legs and shoulders! This tour takes up to 10 or more hours therefore physical comfort is very important and I hope the tour operators consider this review and make positive changes. Full marks to Lydia who was knowledgeable and knew how to put everyone at ease.

Great guide. Great tour.
Ted was an excellent tour guide. He spent most of his life in Tokyo and not only knows the city but also teaches about Japanese history and culture. He ties together old and recent history in a way that keeps pace with the tour and holds your interest the entire time. He also provides maps and information specifically intended to help you navigate the rest of your stay in Tokyo This is a great way to spend your first day in Japan.

Great Mt Fuji Tour - Rain or Shine
Even though the weather didn’t cooperate and we had some rain, we still had a fantastic time exploring the Mt. Fuji area! Our tour guide, Eric, was amazing—informative, funny, super friendly, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. We especially appreciated all his extra recommendations for souvenirs, shopping, and things to see and do in Tokyo. He really went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience. Rain or shine, this was a wonderful tour, and we’d highly recommend Eric!

Great way to see a few different areas and some parks in a short period of time.
We did the Backstreets Tour on a Sunday morning. We rode through some lovely parks and leafy green streets- which we didnt think existed in Tokyo and made a nice change from busy train stations and tourist sites. Also got to see a few different areas of Tokyo in a short period of time. Our guide Jenny was informative and friendly.

When you need a break from big, modern Tokyo, look to its neighboring areas, which are more traditional and natural and offer a different perspective on Japan. A Tokyo day trip gets you out of the city—whether for a couple of hours or the full day. Travel through the surrounding countryside by private car, bus, or even the super-fast bullet train, to fit more into your day. Visit UNESCO-listed temples and shrines or admire the views of iconic mountains further afield, or focus on Tokyo's outer suburbs.
