Our tour guide Richard was wonderful. He stared the tour off on the right foot by contacting me in advance to find out where we were staying and if there were particular things we wanted to see He picked us up perfectly on time in a beautiful large BMW which was very comfortable. The rest of the day went just as smoothly. We started the day at a large Buddhist Temple, and then went to the Skytree which had amazing views of Tokyo. We asked Richard to take us to the kitchen supply district since we wanted to buy quality knives. He was very helpful in pointing out three shops so we could compare knives and prices. We finished with lunch in one of the posh suburbs. Richard still had more he wanted to show us but my partner was lagging so at our request Richard drove us back to our hotel. At the end of the day we felt that we had really absorbed much of the flavor of Tokyo. Throughout the tour Richard shared his extensive knowledge of Tokyo and Japan. It was a perfect day. We both agreed it was well worth the extra cost for a private guide and will advise our friends traveling to Japan to ask for Richard.

Guy is the consummate guide, giving us excellent insight on Tokyo, the people and the history of the various sites that we visited. He was so accommodating to our wishes and made us feel cared for and understood. He is an excellent driver and our time with him passed by so fast. He is the one to get for a memorable and experience in Tokyo.

Guy provided a comprehensive and thorough tour of Tokyo for our family. He was very knowledgeable and helpful understanding the landmarks and different parts of the city. Highly Recommend!! Moshe was an outstanding guide in Tokyo. Moshe’s English is excellent and is very easy to understand. Greatly appreciated his communication skills in contacting us after booking via What’s Up app and also appreciated his promptness! We enjoy learning about the culture and customs and Moshe did a wonderful job of informing us of life in Tokyo and throughout Japan. Moshe’s van is very spacious and complete with WiFi, charger plug-in, water bottles and our own temperature control. Moshe provided a list of suggested sights; however he let us decide what we wanted to see and how long to stay at each venue.

Moshe was very knowledgeable and experienced with the area. He was kind, funny, and flexible with the itinerary. Vehicle was clean and water bottles were available for us. Convenient locations for pick ups and drop offs at the different sites specially when the area tends to be busy.

This is a wonderful way to see a few different areas of Tokyo. Our driver Richard had an itinerary in mind, but also left us opportunities to cater the day to suit our tastes. We had a little culture, a little food, a little shopping and a little local info along the way.
Richard was great at describing what we were seeing as we drove through the different areas, and prepped us well for each of our stops. I could feel that he’d spent time exploring the areas that he shared with us and that he loves the places we stopped.
The car was excellent - we felt like royalty each time we stopped and got out or back into the car; very comfortable and a smooth ride.
All in all, if you have a day to kill in Tokyo and you don’t know what you want to see, this is a stellar option. I will certainly come back and spend more time in the areas Richard introduced to us.

We booked a private driver for our final day in Tokyo because we had to check out of our hotel at 11 a.m., but our flight wasn’t until the evening. We wanted to maximize our last hours in the city without worrying about luggage, timing, or rushing around. Hiring Moshe was absolutely the best decision.
From the moment he reached out, Moshe was warm, professional, and incredibly easy to communicate with. His English is flawless, and his hospitality made the entire day feel seamless and stress-free.
The car was pure luxury—comfortable, spotless, and exactly what you want when you’re wrapping up a long trip. Moshe handled our luggage, kept us on the perfect schedule, and adjusted to anything we needed with zero hesitation. He truly listened to what kind of day we wanted and made it happen effortlessly.
Most importantly, he was extremely accommodating. Whether it was letting us take our time in the morning, helping us avoid doubling back to the hotel, or taking us anywhere we wanted to go before our Haneda drop-off, Moshe made everything easy. He turned what could have been a chaotic “travel day” into a smooth, enjoyable final experience in Tokyo.

Sam did a great job of putting together an “off the beaten path” itinerary. We saw lovely non-tourists neighborhoods, a lovely cemetery, shrines and gardens. I highly recommend you do this tour with Sam on your first day. We took multiple train rides including Tokyo station. This made using the train system so much less scary for the remainder of our trip.

This tour was a very convenient way to see Tokyo and made the whole day really easy. We could take our time at each stop, which made everything feel much more enjoyable instead of rushed. The schedule flowed nicely, we never felt pressured to move on quickly, and it was great not having to worry about navigating the trains or planning every detail ourselves. Our experience started a little worrisome. They were 1 hour late to our tour. Some mix up on their system. But our guide was AMAZING! He more than made up for the error ( came in on his day off) and extended the tour to make up for the start delay. Super personable and very knowledgeable! Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely perfect first day in Tokyo with Oriol. He took us to so many fantastic sights and made the entire day feel effortless. Oriol is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and thoughtful — especially as we were traveling with our six-month-old baby. He always made sure we had places to change the baby and adjusted the day so everything was comfortable and easy for us.
His car was spotless and very comfortable, which made a long day of sightseeing so enjoyable. We learned so much and saw far more than we ever could have managed on our own.
We loved the Tokyo tour so much that we booked him again for a Mount Fuji day trip — and we highly, highly recommend it. There’s simply no way we would have been able to see so much or navigate all the logistics without a guide and a van. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Me, my husband and my mom enjoyed the tour fully with the help of our driver. It was a very nice experience in every way. I was worried about the tour with my mom who cannot walk for a long time but the tour manager and our driver made a perfect itinerary that every one of us could enjoy and they took care of our family very well. We had an amazing full-day tour of Tokyo with Moshe. His English is absolutely perfect, and he made everything so easy to understand as he walked us through the city’s history, neighborhoods, and major landmarks. He was professional, super courteous, and just really pleasant to spend the day with.
One of the highlights was lunch at the restaurant that inspired the big sword-fighting scene in Kill Bill—such a fun stop, and something we never would’ve found on our own. And at the Meiji Shrine, we even spotted the emperor’s car in the parking lot, which made the visit feel even more special.
Overall, Moshe gave us a fantastic day in Tokyo. Highly recommend touring with him!

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour from start to finish. Visited so many iconic places around Tokyo, all at an easy comfortable pace. We never felt rushed and could actually enjoy each stop. The whole day ran smoothly, the car was comfortable, and the experience felt relaxed and stress free. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.

It is a good way to get an overview of the city. It could be done in a half day. This tour was meant to be 9-5 with lunch. The lunch proposal was a tourist trap so we bypassed it in favor of continuing the tour. Our guide was fine. He could have been less opinionated about the politics of the country as we were on vacation.
